Nothing Special To Say

I did not end up posting anything last month. Be it videos or weblog posts. 😶 I had intentions to do a write-up on a variety of things I noted somewhere on a notepad, but I cannot find that file? 🤨 Darn. If you did not do anything particularly special this holidays, then hey, welcome to the club. ✋🏾 Neither did I. 🎄 Channel uploads have been at a snail's pace this year. Will Year 2025 be better? I hope so. 🌟

Christmas 2020: When God Sends Snow

Let It Snow

Did you know? 🎄 That during the daytime of Christmas Eve in my area, there was no snow? 🤨 During that time, I thought this year was going to be a mild, green Christmas! 😁 Yes, I actually prefer my winters to be like that. 🌴 However, when the nighttime rolled in, the Greater Toronto Area suddenly got covered in snow! 🤯 In fact, check this out:

"Toronto and the surrounding area was a winter wonderland on Friday, as snow started to fall on Christmas Eve night and continued into Christmas morning."CityNews Toronto

Did you click on the link source? 🤔 Told you I wasn't making this up. 😶 It feels as though God saw that the year was chaotic, and decided to send snow to cheer people up for Christmas. 😇 While some do not care for it, you have to admit that a little snow will not do you any harm. For some, the presence of snow drives them to throw on their hats, jackets, pants, and boots to get out there and enjoy it! ❄🥳 Or clean it. 😐

Speaking of that, I heard people outside early morning shovelling snow. ❄ How early? 7:00 AM approximately. 🕖 To get up that early on Christmas morning just to shovel snow is a special type of madness determination. 😂🤣

Merry Christmas And Happy New Year

May there be peace, health, and prosperity. 🙏🏾 Merry Christmas and have Happy 2021 New Year! 🎊

New Year's Eve: The Dawn Of A New Decade (2020)

Today is Tuesday, December 31, 2019. This means that this is not only my last blog post of the year, but of an entire decade. 😲 Now it might sound kind of weird to say that, considering that I have only been using Blogger since January 31, 2016. Nevertheless, it has been 3 years of typing here. ⌨ That's enough of the boring stuff, so let's talk about the exciting things: 2020! 🎆
No, I will not be watching fireworks. And no, that end of the decade video is also unfortunately not happening.  😥 This time period was just too busy, and when you do not organize yourself efficiently, you will ultra quickly get yourself into such a tight, awkward situation.  😣

Over the decade, we have seen so much advancements in just about every industry on the planet: automotive, health, technology, security and beyond. Some of these advancements, however, are not always positive. Some trends have been seriously stupid and disappointing, such as the notches and removal of headphone jacks and expandable memory on smartphones. 🙄 Others, like the ever increasing number of all-electric vehicles are very exciting. ⚡

For some of you, it is already 2020. For those of us in the Eastern Standard Time Zone, or close to it, it is late evening at the time I wrote this. And for that reason, I will not keep this blog post too long. I just want to say that I am thankful to have lived through the decade despite the many disappointments, and hardships that I may have faced. There were also many joys and special memories that have also taken place: moving, graduation, relatives' weddings, getting my first proper computer, getting back intro instrumental music, injecting life into my YouTube channel, then rebranding it twice as time went on, getting into blogging, acquisition of several smartphones, visiting many areas, and so many more that if I were to go on, this blog post would end up becoming a book! 📕📗📘

For the next decade, I hope to go further, continue to learn new things, stay healthy, go new places, and be more successful in the things I do. ✅🌠

Thanks for reading and Happy 2020 New Year! 🎆🎇🎉

Merry Christmas 2019: Final Of The Decade

Merry Christmas blog readers! 🎄 I hope you are having an excellent day! ⭐ We are now down to just 6 days left of the entire 2010-2019 decade. 😲 Many unknowns lie ahead, which can either make you mostly nervous, excited, or likely a blend of both. Now, I do not think I have mentioned it in any of my Christmas entries, so it needs to be said now: Christmas is not Christ' actual birthday. "DUH! We know that Guuzaka!" You must be thinking. 😂🤣 More importantly, I hope that Christmas will become non-commercialized real soon. 😐 Wishful thinking, but I am serious.

It may not be Christ' birthday, but it is rather unfortunate that the day has become so increasingly focused on commercialism and Christmas characters -- neither of which Christmas should be about. So what should Christmas truly be about then? 🤨
having fun. Not breaking the bank account, not competing with your neighbours to see who can put the most Christmas lights on your house: just having a proper good time. So with that said, I will keep this short and head about my business now. 🌠

December 31st Entry: Final Day of 2018

GuuzakaTube                                                                                                  2018-12-31

December 31st Entry: Final Day of 2018

🔵This blog post may contain affiliate links

Ok, this is it: the final day of 2018! 🙏🏾 Therefore, this is naturally my final post of 2018. Wow, another year gone by.... 🌠😶 Let us take a look at 10 photos from places I've been, or things I've unboxed. A few of these photos, you've never seen captured on video, so enjoy! 😎🎉

As I looked back at my own photographs, it reminds me of how blessed it is to be able to have the health, strength and knowledge to go places. However, if I must be honest, 2018 wasn't my year. 😶 But even with all the ups, downs, disappoints, laughter, and despairs 2018 may have brought, I am still alive and functioning. Being alive, means that there is the opportunity for a brighter, more fulfilling, exciting future. And if there is one major thing 2018 did for me, is it opened my eyes. After going through its unique good and bad, I now have a far better idea of what should be done to significantly improve the odds of getting the 2019 I want to see. Did you enjoy 2018? What did you overall think of the year? Are you ready for 2019?

December 27th Entry: Post-Boxing and Christmas Day

GuuzakaTube                                                                                                   2018-12-27

December 27th Entry: Post-Boxing and Christmas Day

🔵This blog post may contain affiliate links

Welcome! Did you have a wonderful, memorable Christmas this year? What about Boxing Day? Did you go out to shop on the first day? Perhaps you shopped online instead? Christmas may be over, but you still have to deal with both online and offline traffic of shopping people. Oh, and then there's the ultimate day -- New Year's Day! 🌠✨🎉😃 4 More days until 2018 is finished forever. 😶 What things will 2019 bring forth? 🤔 Only God knows... For now, let us proceed to discussing the latest uploads on my channel.

The obvious? I unbox a Lightning Cable and Birugear Shell. Boring! 😒 What you want to know is why I purchased those things. For the Lightning Cable, I only had one in my possession. It was also very long, so I wanted something shorter, thus the 30cm Anker Powerline II Lightning Cable fit the bill. For the Birugear Shell, I specifically mentioned that it was for my upcoming 4TB Seagate Backup Plus, so nothing too special about the story behind that. As you can see within the video, the Lightning Cable did its job, and is still performing very well up to now.

So aside from unboxing a blue 4TB Seagate Backup Plus, what else happens in and off camera? I compared the sizes between the 4TB and 2TB Seagate Backup Plus. If you still haven't seen the video at this point, you should. The differences in thickness are greater than I thought they were! 😂🤣 And as such, the 4TB Seagate is naturally heavier. Not so much the point that it's a brick, but you can feel the difference. Perhaps what you would really like to know, is how well does it fare when transferring files? One day, I transferred 1.14TB of files to see what would happen. The result? It took 14 hours to move all of them! 😲🤯😱😳 I did not expect it to be fast, because after all, it's not the Seagate Backup Plus Fast 4TB. But still, we can all agree that that's pretty damn slow, eh? 🐢Nevertheless, I'm just glad it transferred them reliably, and without issues. At the time I type this blog post, the Seagate Backup Plus Fast 4TB costs $750 CAD! 😲🤯😱 Seagate Backup Plus 5TB X 4 + Ontario Sales tax = $723.15
So this means that you could have 20TB of storage, plus $26.85 left to spare by going with that route. 😶 Yeah, wow. It pays to do the math, eh? Still, if you're ultra rich and want the speed, then by all means go for it. Even then, you still might change your mind after seeing this. Or will you? 🤨

If it wasn't obvious enough from the overt use of red and green in the thumbnail, this episode was dedicated to playing Christmas carols. 😄🎄🎵 Unfortunately, it was not a very rosy experience at all. 😖 I attempted the record the episode three times in total, only to ultimately end up keeping the 1st attempt. 😵 "So what exactly happened?" You must be asking? I did not like how the first attempt had too many cut offs after the first 10 minutes. It made it such a pain to record songs after that. So I then thought, "Hey, why don't I save the stock camera video footage to the internal space? That way, it'll be forced to save the entire video, right?" BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER! 😱 It kept running until nearly 70 minutes past! At that point, I was wondering what in the universe was going on? 🤨Shouldn't it stop and save the video already? How come the phone isn't getting any hotter? Turns out, that after running for 70 minutes, the camera decided that it was going to save just 8 minutes out of that. 8. 💀 No wonder I wasn't prompted about the storage getting full or the phone getting hot: because it wasn't actually recording anything past 8 minutes, despite giving me the impression that it was.  😠😡 INCOMING RANT!

It was at that point, where I finally vowed to NEVER EVER IN MY LIFE AGAIN USE THE STOCK MICROSOFT CAMERA! IT IS THE CRAPPIEST, GLITCHIEST, MOST TICK-INFESTED CAMERA APPLICATION I HAVE USED IN MY LIFE! OHHHH, BUGROSOFT! WHAT DUNG IS THIS?! WHAT DUNG IS THIS YOU HAVE PUT INTO YOUR PHONES?! WHAT A SLIDIN', STINKIN', RANKIN' APPLICATION! OHHHH, THE FURY AND FIRE! OHHHHH, THE HEAT OF THE DRAGON'S BREATH! OHHHHHH, WHAT DUNG IS THIS?! THE PRESSURE OF THE SERPENT'S CONSTRICTION! THE BITE OF THE GREY OF WOLF! THE STING OF THE BEE! THE SCREAM OF THE COCKATOO! THE MIGHTY PUNCH OF THE HUMAN! THE STOMP OF THE ELEPHANT! OHHHH, BUGROSOFT! WHAT DUNG IS THIS?! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

😴Rant finished.😴

For attempt three, I decided to use ProShot. For some reason, I don't know why the 4K option is greyed out for the Nokia Lumia 1520, despite being a 4K capable device. I tried e-mailing the developer about this, only to get an automated e-mail explaining that he no longer responds to e-mails. Why? Because of the sheer volumes of e-mails and questions he gets. 😒 Lovely... That's why you should have a team in place for answering questions! 😑 I decided to just record at 1920 X 1080, as opposed to the 3840 X 2160 that I would have loved to do. The recording went well, and everything saved. Yay right? When I editing time came, I realized that the audio had too many distortions! 🤦🏾‍♂️ So much so, that I would have been better off recording the video with my iPhone 6s Plus. In fact, I probably would have spared myself this entire dilemma, if I had just used it in the first place. Why didn't I? Long explanation short, the mono channeled MOV files the iPhone produces, come out with distorted audio after they're processed in Windows Movie Maker. But despite that, they're not too bad in videos that aren't focused on the sounds of nature. All in all, you can see why I just went back to keeping the first attempt: to keep the video in 4K and have no audio distortions.

"Another smartphone from years ago?" Some of you must be thinking. Well, you know what? Not only are they far cheaper, but have headphone jacks, no notches, most had microSD card slots, and the slab phones had a 16:9 aspect ration. Not the stupid 18:9 ratio that many of the 2017 and 2018 smartphones have. So in other words, aside from having weaker processors or no more software support, they have more hardware charms. So that aside, why the BlackBerry Passport? I'll tell you: I'm retiring my BlackBerry Q10 shortly after the 2019 New Year. 🙏🏾⚰🌹🕯😥 That will be a whopping 5 years! And yep, it's still working up to this day. No motherboard failures, no audio jack failure, no charging port failure, none of that nonsense. The smartphone that was my first smartphone. When the video comes, I'll discuss more "memorable" things, but for now, let us divert our attention to the BlackBerry Passport! 😄

Here are the four things that shock me the most about the BlackBerry Passport

1. How pleasantly large it is! 🙏🏾👍🏾
2. How bright and beautiful the screen is. 🌞
3. How weird the typing experience is. 👎🏾 Really wish they gave it a fourth row of keys. The missing numpad is truly awkward.
4. The lack of 4K recording on a flagship smartphone with a Snapdragon 801 processor. 😥

All in all, I love the BlackBerry Passport despite its shortcomings. No, I have no plans to buy the BlackBerry KeyTwo. It's awkwardly narrow, and I prefer my BlackBerry devices with BlackBerry 10 on them. When I buy an Android smartphone, it will likely be Samsung, LG, Sony or maybe even Razer.

You can already tell right from the thumbnail what happens in this video. But what you don't know is why -- why did I do this in the first place? Well firstly, I wanted to do a gaming video this month. Secondly, I realized that with a 4th smartphone, I could film three of the major operating systems doing something: playing FLAPPY BIRD! 🐦🤪🕊 And so there the idea was born. 😆 Another fun fact: while I was sorting the videos into their playlists, I realized that this one did not fit in with the other gaming videos, so you know what I did? I created a brand new playlist dedicated to this unique category: Multiple Platform Mobile Gaming. Yes, crazy, but it was a "necessity". 🤣😂

"Should I upload this to YouTube or not?" That's the question that kept going back and forth, when I had to make a decision about what to do with this video. Ultimately, I decided to upload it, because why not? There is nothing wrong with it, so I just combined what was actually two separate videos into one. What surprise gifts did you get for Christmas? 🎄🎁

2019 New Year's! 😃✨🎉🎊 No, I won't be filming the fireworks for it, but it's both exciting and nerve-wracking to think about what lies in store for 2019. Hopefully mostly good. 😅 Stay safe out there, and have fun! 😎 This blog entry may either be the last, or second last of 2018, depending on whether or not I do a final entry on the 31st, like what I did last year.

The Final Day of Year 2017

GuuzakaTube                                                                                                   2017-12-31

The Final Day of Year 2017

Spring 2017 (Whitby)

Summer 2017 (Whitby)

Autumn 2017 (Milton)

Winter 2017 (Bowmanville)

Alright, so this is it: the final day of 2017! 😮 Wow, not sure if it felt like it went by fast or not, but I certainly wouldn't say that it was slow. While 2017 hasn't personally been exciting for me, I can say that it had its ups and downs. I've been comparing the events of my life between these two years (2016 & 17) to see which year was overall better. The results? Well, 2017 is seemingly a marginal improvement. If I must be honest, I think the number of annoyances and other bits that took place, have me to believe that 2016 was honestly the better year for me. But then again, 2016 was also rather disorganized and I remember openly calling it a flop in front of people.... 😨😬 Yeah.... for those reasons, I think I'll actually consider 2017 as truly the improvement of 2016, despite that it had a bit more stressful events that took place. 😅 I know. I'm being rather vague about things here, but I'm just not the one for going into details about these things.🔒

So that was my personal life, but what about YouTube? How have things been in 2017? Well, it seems like YouTube was a pretty bad year for most YouTubers with this whole Adpocalypse thing, fake drama, real drama, complete demonetization for people who had less than 10,000 channel views, and what else? I'm sure there's probably plenty more, but those are the core things I can think of from the top of my head. Luckily for me, I have not gotten myself involved into any drama of the sort, nor have I ever gotten any strikes! 😎🏆 Then again, my channel is also an low-traffic place, so that may have something to - actually, nope! You have some low-traffic and mid-traffic channels that have gotten themselves into unbelievable amounts of drama, so never mind about that being an effective measure of staying safe! 😰 Now, it certainly wasn't all roses, rainbows, sunshine and singing canaries for me, as you will know from "Why Your YouTube Channel Might Be Losing So Much Money (April 2017)" I don't know why YouTube had to make this brutal move, but they did it anyways. This made it very demotivating to continue YouTube, but I was determined to keep going. 7 months later, November time arrives and I met the quota, so my earnings were restored. Still, I wish they hadn't done that in the first place, and hope to God that they don't come up with some other shenanigans in 2018! 😑

This aside, 2017 would also be the first full year of the GuuzakaTube era, after succeeding the longstanding ATA1201058 back in 2016. Has quality and diversity lived up to my expecations with the personal brand transition? Well, it's certainly gotten much better, but there is room for improvement. 😉 I love how I've been to so many different places this year, and have done a lot of mobile gaming, commentary, and even a few music and animation videos this year. Definitely pride myself on that for making much videos to reflect the channel's theme, while also trying other categories. Speaking of categories, I wonder if I should categorize the outdoor videos as "People & Blogs" as opposed to the usual "Travel & Events" like how I normally do. You've seen my videos, so I'd really appreciate feedback on which category you think represents them more accurately.

Should I mention Instagram, DeviantArt, Tumblr, Twitter and Blogger? Why not? I'll just go with a brief rundown with how each went in 2017. For Instagram, it was painful when I got shadowbanned sometime back in May. Though long resolved, and haven't been shadowbanned since, it still sucks how the company just won't update their Windows application and make it functional! Argh! 😡😠 Oh well, 6Tag fills the void for now... For DeviantArt, I'm not terribly active there because I'm not the greatest (nor am I the worst) artist around. I initially created Tumblr as a placeholder after getting shadowbanned from Instagram. I thought that I would have abandoned it after getting my Instagram back, but I ended up liking the user interface a lot, so I'm still using it to this day. Twitter, like much of my other social media anchors, I mainly use to advertise my uploads, but do use it for other purposes as well. Blogger, hey, I'm using it right now! 😄 I use it for uploads, affiliate marketing and other times when I feel like discussing something - like 2017 New Year's Eve! Now, there are other anchors I have on the channel, but because I have not used them in 2017, it would be pointless to mention them. Maybe we'll see them come to use in 2018?

Alright web surfers! This has been it for the final blog post of 2017! Thank you for reading and watching my objectionable entries! 🤣 Have a safe, blessed, prosperous 2018 New Year! 🎉🎊🌠

December 28th Entry: 2017's Days Are Numbered

GuuzakaTube                                                                                                 2017-12-28

December 29th Entry: 2017's Days Are Numbered

They really are. There's just 2 full days left of 2017. After that, it'll be gone forever. Some people will be glad to see it go, some will be sad, while some will be indifferent. Regardless of emotions, 2018's coming super soon! What will be in store for my channel and life? Find out in my final 2017 entry coming in a day, two or three from now... For now, let us just discuss those recent outdoor videos that were uploaded to my channel yesterday.🕒

"For real though, what happened?" Some of you must be wondering. Well, actually, nobody's seen the video yet as I type this, so you haven't actually asked yet. But I suspect that you might, so let's just finally get down with this! The day I've originally filmed the first segment without the snow, was also the same day I filmed the Duke of Cambridge Public School. You can probably predict what happened by now: storage. I ran out of it.😰 Thankfully, that November marked the last time this would happen, thanks to my new, trusty Samsung micro SD card. Ok, so just what happened the following weeks? Well, I just didn't get the opportunity to go outdoors and film, which was really annoying, but oh well. When I finally got the opportunity to film, I almost didn't want to go back to this dull area, but because I had already attempted it, I told myself to finish it. Surely, I did. And yes, no offense, this area is boring. 😐 Just being real and honest. The other two destinations I'm about to discuss soon, weren't too bad though. That said, the snowfall made for some interesting footage and photography, as you can see in both the pictures here and the video itself.

Oh, Saint Joseph! How difficult you were to walk around! It's a fairly interesting place, but the snow, slopes and awkward cut off points, make this place a bit of a challenge to walk around. Then again, who walks around schools to film them again? 🦗😳 Yeah, I thought so too! 🤣 With it being my very first time exploring this area, it made for a fresher filming and photography session for me. I did have intentions to do the Roman Catholic church associated with it, but because it was open at the time, I decided against it.

This place was totally unplanned, as I only had to intentions to finish Ontario Street and capture the Saint Joseph buildings that day. Lo and behold, as I was walking up Liberty Street, I saw this place looking nice and vacant, so I went for it! I was surprised to figure out that it turned out to be yet another one of those Salvation Army Community churches. Remember the one in Oshawa? Ok, how about Whitby? During the video, I suspected that there may be one in every major municipality, after making the discovery of what kind of church it was. I haven't looked into it, so I don't know how true that is, but there's likely many throughout Ontario and perhaps even the other provinces and territories. Well, I don't know about the territories part. 😅 Anyways, it was nice seeing this place by surprise and exploring it. Though the drivers on Liberty Street must have been like, "Da hell is this guy doing?" 🤣😳😨😧

There were plans to get two commentaries and an Asphalt 8 video uploaded, but due to intense time constraints, that will certainly not be happening! But don't worry, you'll see them during unspecified times in January 2018. New Year's be right at the door step! One thing that's going to be sad for BlackBerry 10 users, is that WhatsApp will no longer function! 😬 Well ok, we still don't know if it'll just work without any more updates, but it's still bad news. Yes, I know that you can just use the Android version, or buy a BlackBerry Keyone or something, but what if you don't feel like doing either of those two?🤔 The answer? You use it and accept that there be limitations, or you just do either of the other two options. Yes, I do have a Windows Phone, that is luckily still getting support from them, but the problem is a lack of a physical keyboard on 99% of smartphones these days! Typing longer messages on a virtual keyboard is still rather painful for me.... While we're on the topic of smartphones, it looks like Apple has not only come open about their battery shenanigans, but also apologized and will give iPhone users a function that monitors the battery, as apposed to the phone just underclocking itself without the users consent. Or at least, I hope that's what the case is. If you ask me, I'd rather have sheer blistering speed at the sacrifice of battery life, over a slow, power-efficient device. Not a fan of slow electronics at all! 😑 Anyway, that's been it for this entry, so I will see you Sunday for la finale?🤔

December 26th Entry: Where Have I been?!

GuuzakaTube                                                                                                   2017-12-17

December 26th Entry: Where Have I been?!

For real though, where have I been?! Why wasn't there an entry uploaded last week? Why was there a video uploaded on the 15th, then 3 on the 22nd, and one yesterday without any mention of them on social media? And why isn't this entry titled "Boxing Day" when it's clearly happening on Boxing Day? Ah, lots of questions you guys must have. Well, we can start with the latter first: I didn't do any Boxing Day shopping, nor do I plan to do any, so I figured that it wouldn't make too much sense to give it that title, when it's not going to be the focus. In regards to the cryptic uploads and absence of their social media follow ups, it's a combination of it being the busy season, and making the YouTube Rewinds and Christmas video. Both of these were more time consuming than I anticipated. Keep reading to get the full scoop on everything that was missed and not explained! 😅

Yep! In case you still don't know, the very same company we know, and love, for making awesome vehicles like the Porsche 918 and Porsche Cayenne, is making honey! Sweet, sticky, buzzy honey! When I first read the headlines about this, it struck me so hard that it triggered me to make a video on this. And now, I'm here typing a blog entry on it, as I'm driving in my blue all-new 2018 all-electric Porsche Cayenne. 🤥 Yeah, you know where this is heading by now with the presence of that emoji. Despite them saying that you can buy this, I don't know where, or if you can buy it from them directly. To be honest, it very likely tastes the same as regular honey. Being made from a high-performance German automotive manufacturer, will not give it a high-performance taste, and it certainly should not! That would be very suspicious! 😆😬

A 36 minute long Asphalt 8 video? Yep! I've done quite a bit in this episode! Assembly, Championship racing, regular racing, opening boxes, max outs, and what else? Oh, of course, chatting! Excluding the assembly segment, this video was done after I finished updating it to the 24th update: Hot Wheels! 🤔 I know, Hot Wheels cars in Asphalt 8. Like I expressed in the video, I'd prefer for them to stick to real cars, but whatever. It's not like we forcibly need to buy them anyway. Some people have even blatantly stated that they'd skip the Championship for them, and I don't blame them. At the time I write this, these Hot Wheels vehicles don't even have Season 9 and Mastery Tracks available, to make pursuing them even more pointless! Wow, did they really just throw these in as joke? Will they change this in the future? And when they do get Season 9 tracks, I HOPE that they give them the newer places like Munich or Patagonia! Please, no older tracks like Tokyo, Nevada or Azure Coast! There's enough of those already, and there's no shortage of them in the Career Mode through Seasons 1-8. Aside from the goofy cars, this update THANKFULLY has not brought any dreaded changes, like price increases, turning old cars into blueprints, or turning credit cars into token cars, to name a few. It's actually brought some welcome ones, such as the feature that allows you to keep fusing without having to open a box (though being able to turn them into credits was still better!), and the new cars outside of the toy cars. For the next video, things should get pretty interesting after I finally get some of my beasts pro'd! Oh yeah, and did I mention how glad I am that they're still keeping the updates going for Windows Phone? Well, for now at least...😐 They still never officially got back to me, nor do I expect them to.😒

Still not playing this game as much as I used to, hence why I'm not as rich as I used to be in-game. That said, I didn't want to miss a gameplay session of this new update, so I dedicated some time to play on the Christmas themed Saint Petersburg track. Loved it! Similarly to the Halloween track back in October and part of November, it was well decorated with festivity, and had seasonal music mixed into the original Subway Surfers soundtrack. Still haven't unlocked Nicolai yet, but I better get on that before I miss it! I mean, he may appear again sometime in the future during Wednesday or Thursday I think, but that's no guarantee. Seriously though, even though it's the same repetitive gameplay mechanics, the track is really well done. 🎄✨❄

So I finally decided that 2017 would be the year that I make a video about this, eh? A few years back, I thought about doing something like this, but never gave it any serious thought, till when this year came. As a result, it gave me a lot of YouTube Rewinds to talk about, which also made the video a little more time consuming to put together, but so what? It was honestly a lot of fun to go back and watch 8 years worth of YouTube Rewinds! Oh, how things have changed from 2010 to 2017! And of course, people hate that. They hate how the YouTube Rewinds have become more fast paced, longer, and keep featuring more YouTubers that they "can't recognize" or just do not like. Honestly, I thought YouTube Rewind 2017 was pretty good. In fact, if you've watched the video before coming here, you'll know that it actually turned out to be my 2nd favourite YouTube Rewind, only behind the 2012 Rewind. People have their likes and dislikes, but mine isn't swayed by the masses, hence why I did not smash the dislike button. Though Rewind 2017 still has more likes than dislikes, it looks like it could possibly end up the same boat as Rewind 2011, if the dislikes keep coming at a rapid pace! 😰🤯 Ok, so maybe they're not coming fast enough for that to happen, but still. Wow. Should be interesting to see what 2018 will bring. Do you think they will go back to making them shorter? Will they slow down the fast paced edits? Will they include more "familiar" faces? Honestly, the latter is so subjective. While it's assumed that most people will know YouTubers like PewDiePie, Jenna Marbles, KSI and what not, there's no 100% guarantee that everyone actually does. And even if they did decide to only include the top 10 most subscribed YouTubers to make it "familiar", you'd have people complain about that too. 😏 Cannot please all the people.

Ho, ho, hooooooo! Merry Christmas! 🎄😄🎄 This also marks the first time on YouTube, where I had to file a dispute! 😵 "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA?! A dispute on Christmas?!" Some of you must saying. Yep, that's right. As soon as I uploaded the video and went into video manager, I noticed that a pop up came telling me that part of my video has audio that was done as a cover song of someone else's song! 🤯 Not sure if that emoji does enough to explain it, but seriously though?! Why was I being told that I was eligible for splitting revenue over a video, that was entirely created by me? I went in to see which part of it caused the video to be claimed. Lo and behold, it was the segment where I played We Three Kings. 🤨 Who claimed it? It was automatically claimed by Rayarmoovar/[SIDMM] Vincey productions. Who are they? A Tamil Channel that specializes in uploading Christian Music. So ok, we're all wondering why was my music claimed as copyright, despite the fact that everything was played by me from scratch, and that We Three Kings is a song that does not belong to them. This song was created by John Henry Hopkins Junior, all the way back in 1857, meaning that there is no legalities attached to it, so long as you play it yourself. I can only assume that my tenor recorder must have sounded so much like something they may have done in the past, that it caused YouTube's broken system to flag it as their music... 🤦🏾‍♂️ Ridiculous... I hope the "owners" will be reasonable and review this dispute soon, because it's not fair for me to have to split revenue for something that does not belong to them. I know, I know. For a Christmas segment, I sure sound bitter here, but I have every right to. YouTube's copyright system is something everyone's been complaining about from the dawn of ages. Now that it's personally happened to me, I can relate even more to the pain that others had to go through for even sillier and worse scenarios. Ranting aside, playing and recording these songs turned out to be much more time consuming than I anticipated, but I'm glad I did it in time before Christmas. I definitely need to start playing more tenor recorder more regularly and seriously! It shouldn't have taken me so many attempts to record a proper version of songs that were supposed to be "easy".... 😳😰😭☹ And even then, the intonation still could have been better. If I plan to learn other instruments in the future, then I'm going to need to get much more serious with my music practice and continue to review music theory.

Yeh, so if you managed to read through all that, you'll have the full story of what has been happening over the last 10 days or so. This time of the year always seems to be busy and hectic. Well, 2017 is about to end in 5 days, and then it will be an all-new year: 2018! What will 2018 bring? God knows... Let's just hope it will be a good one and that it will sail smoothly. Now because I do have three outdoor videos "in the queue" that I would like to edit and post, I will probably do my 2017 reflection post either at the end of it, or maybe just make it a standalone post on December 31, 2017. Depending on how things go, we'll see what happens.

December 8th Entry: Breakfast Saga

GuuzakaTube                                                                                                   2017-12-07

December 8th Entry: Breakfast Saga

Yes, oh yes. Pancakes, waffles, bananas, strawberries, eggs, toast, butter, apples, cinnamon, tea, hot chocolate, coffee, cheese and cereal. Does your face look like this 😛 yet? Well, it probably does! Anyways, despite the title being called "breakfast saga" this post does not actually explore a variety of breakfast foods as the title would suggest. It's partially about a game with the namesake title of Breakfast Saga. Why did I decide to make its title represent this post? Wait, nobody cares so let's just proceed to discussing these videos!🥞🍳🍞🧀☕🥧🍎 Alright, I should probably stop the food tease now, before I make you too hungry to be in the mood for reading!🤣

So as you can tell from the not so stellar photos from above, this Asphalt 8 session was mainly about me discussing the Honda Civic Type R's Championship, and a few other bits here and there. And yes, even though they weren't fantastic, I actually raced on the tracks that I should have done from last time in this video: Dubai with the Lamborghini Gallardo, and Dubai and China for the McLaren P1. And just for fun and giggles, I also did an Enduro Double Down race with the Volkswagen Golf GTI. I do not plan on pursuing the Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport. Some might think I'm crazy for not wanting to go for it, but if the Honda Civic Type R's Championship has taught me anything, it's the fact that you need to be 100% certain that you want to win that car! Having to max it out, and use a lot of boosters and tokens is a very expensive investment, unless you already have tons of boosters, credits and tokens. Speaking of Championship, Barcelona has opened up for my area and others today. I hear that others in certain regions have actually finished the Championship, since they had it start earlier for them. Don't know how true that is, but it's what I hear. Anyways! I've managed to complete all the other places so far, so I hope that I can continue with this success. The Brazilian cities that are due to open tomorrow I believe, have me a little nervous. I do not know the Brazilian tracks very well at all. It also doesn't help that the only ready access you get to all of them is in Season 9 with premium cars! Most of which exceed 1,000,000 credits, with some even shooting past 3,000,000!😰😵🤯 Ridiculous... truly ridiculous... Well, can't wait to have continuous access to a Munich track in 2-3 days from now!😎 Come to me sooner Honda Civic Type R!😄

A relatively boring Flappy Bird spin-off, that sometimes randomly crashes, and requires you to pay to be able to use the female ladybug, Mollie. Not that I care about the latter, but maybe others do? Perhaps would have been better off just charging $1.99 up front and having everything unlocked, rather than making just one character cost that much. Negatives aside, you know what makes this game good? The smooth performance, good graphics, and ever so comical noises that Herbie makes whenever he crashes! 🤣😂 He sounds so goofy and dramatic! 🤡 In this game, you fly through bamboo trees, collect gems and avoid falling or crashing. That's it. No additional unlockables, shops, background changes or anything more. Some may appreciate this simplicity, others might expect a little more from a Flappy Spin-off, especially if you're coming from something like Flappy Nyan or Flappy Wings.

Burn, extinguish and absorb as you navigate through the levels of this puzzle game with a leaf, fireball and raindrop.🍃💧🔥 That theme sounds familiar doesn't it? Though I've briefly attempted playing this game once, this would my first time recording and playing it extensively. Too bad the microphone stopped keeping up with the audio, after around 15 minutes. 😣 That's ok, because I've now updated Audacity, and will probably try a different port. Not sure which of the two is to blame here, but like I said in both this video and Breakfast Saga, I'm aware of this issue and will do what I can to try and prevent it from happening again. Anyways, how is the game? Awesome of course! It's a little difficult, but it's good fun. This game is also available on Android in the Google
Play Store. Based on the promo video that I've actually just watched, it seems like the Android version is more feature rich and may have more levels. 😏 Go figure. Fun fact: the full name of the man behind this game is Edward Alejandro Medina.

Breakfast Saga! This is the game that I've named the blog after. Now, originally I've said that this game is a Bejewelled spin-off, but actually mimics Candy Crush Saga more closely. Should have been obvious from the name, but wait: aren't those two games alike anyway? So maybe I wasn't wrong on that? Who knows. I'll have to play it again to refresh my memory. From the looks of Breakfast Saga 2, it resembles Candy Crush Saga even more. Kind of a bad thing, because I like the pixel graphics in this originally one that I've played for this entry. It gives it more of that tasty, warm charm, and suits its character. That's not to say that I don't like the sharp, cartoony graphics in its successor, but just prefer the aesthetics of this game better. Anyhow, this game was deliciously fun! 😋🍰🍩🍪🧀🥐🍞🍳

Boy, the December 2017 Audacity sure looks different in terms of colours! I haven't updated Audacity for years, so I've been used to the look from 5+ years ago. After finally updating it, the dark blue-grey theme and restyled icons came as a great surprise to me. Still, everything is familiar thankfully, but just visually different, so the worry didn't last too long. Like I've said in previous entries, quality does matter a lot to me, so when I saw the audio not syncing precisely, even when it was lined up right, I knew something was up. I still don't really know if it's Audacity, the Blue Snowball or both. I decided to give Audacity an upgrade, so I hope that will help. If not, I will just have to use my Nokia Lumia 1520 to capture the sounds for my BlackBerry 10 gaming videos. If you've seen my Eyebert video I've done back in November, you'll know that they're very good, but obviously not as good as something like a Blue Microphone Yeti. About that commentary I was supposed to upload this week...😅 I did not get the chance to work on it at all this week. 😐 As a result, you may likely see it between the December 11-15 period instead. No absolute guarantee, but that should give you a rough idea. Oh, snap! I still haven't uploaded any instrumental Christmas carols yet! 🎄 Hmmmm... I'll have to try not to forget about that. Once again, there will be no outdoor videos for this weekend, because I won't be able to get them done this weekend. Now I don't think there's anything more I have to say, so I'm out. Actually yes: I'm a fan of the new emojis that the new Fall Windows 10 update brought, but I'm not a fan of the clunkier performance, and lack of actual improvements. Maybe I haven't explored it thoroughly enough, but if Microsoft could at least release an update that actually brings smoother performance, then that would be awesome! And whatever Microsoft plans to bring to the mobile game in 2018 or 2019, let's actually hope that they advertise their devices properly, and make them available on all major carriers in the United States of America and Canada! Do not carelessly abandon your own operating system so soon and just ignore users blatantly! Release yearly flagships, mid-rangers, and budget-rangers to keep people interested and afloat! Why did I have to type that up so boldly? To emphasize the serious flaws that Microsoft made with Windows Phones, that's why.
