January 25th Entry: Impending Doom?

GuuzakaTube                                                                                                   2018-01-25

January 26th Entry: Impending Doom?

No, this title is not desperate clickbait. Those of you that are regulars already know that I don't do that type of garbage, unless it actually lives up to the hype. If you're only interested in reading about the "Doom", and all other things not so pertained to the uploads I'm about to discuss, head right over to the usual "What's Next & Other Ramblings" section. Otherwise, let us take the time right now to discuss the latest uploads! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐ŸŒŠ

Well, the video description sums up this video pretty well: check exclusive deals, open challenger league kit box, and go for a joke run with the BMW Hommage in the Research & Development course. There are other bits that take place as well, but that is the bulk of what the video was about. Now in regards to me not taking the BMW Hommmage event seriously, that's actually false. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ I've actually decided to go ahead and attempt to win this car. I don't know if I'll get it in time, and with the way it typically takes me a good 2-3 attempts to win a test, it seems like it might be mission impossible? Who knows, time will ultimately tell. Even if I don't make it, I could always attempt it again, when it's resurrected, but what if I become even busier by then? What if it takes a very long time to come back? What if the BMW Hommage becomes too irrelevant by then? Or perhaps the most dreaded fate would be: What it Gameloft drops support for Windows Phone by then?!๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜ฐ๐Ÿ˜จ๐Ÿ˜– Mind you, they haven't said anything about this, but it could happen eventually, anytime this year? Hopefully not, but if they do, I hope they actually announce it in advance, unlike a certain other group, which just allegedly dropped support for Windows Phone in 2018 without saying a word! ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿพ‍♂️

So! Why exactly did I film this place and the others I'm going to discuss after this one? Because I felt like exploring Bowmanville's Scugog Street, and capturing some of the places there. Truthfully, this was actually something that I intended to get done since December 2017! Unfortunately, I couldn't do this because something would seemingly always come about. ๐Ÿ˜–๐Ÿ˜ค๐Ÿ˜’ Well, I finally captured the places, but was very annoyed about those hindering circumstances. Oh well. ๐Ÿ˜“ Now inspirations and irritations aside, how did I find this place? Alright. Nothing spectacular about the architecture or anything, but it was good-looking place to photograph and film. Oh yes! I almost forgot to mention that for some reason, the strip between King Street & Scugog Street up to Scugog Street & Jackman Road, smelt very sour that day! ๐Ÿคข๐Ÿคฎ Why? God knows! I don't know if there was a sewage leak, or if there were dogs that had urinated en masse that day, but wow! It was STAAAANKY!๐Ÿ˜ท

And finally Blogger is functioning again, so I can type this! ๐Ÿ™„ Good grief, Google! Can you not do a better job at making your brands function? Or do did you just buy them for the sake of gobbling up additional data from people? Sometimes I really wonder. ๐Ÿ˜‘ Anyways! Let's discuss Saint Stephen, since that's what you came here for. This area is large! I wasn't sure about whether it was going to be medium-sized or what, but wow! While the building itself wasn't freakishly huge, the property itself had other additional buildings on it, it seems. Whether they have anything to do with the school or not, is something I have no idea about. So let's also get the obvious out of the way while we're at it: this school looks very similar to the Holy Trinity Catholic Secondary School. Surprising? Yes and no. Yes, because I've never seen it before. No, because they're both apart of the Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington Catholic District School Board. ๐Ÿ˜ต I know, that is a mouthful to say! Well, all in all, it was an interesting place to visit, film, and photograph. As you can tell from the photos on this blog, the front was my favourite area. ๐Ÿ˜„

Can you believe that this man is what the town of Bowmanville is named after? For all the years I've known about this place, I never knew that. ๐Ÿ˜ฏ Wow. Now, let's discuss the school named after him! Is it any good? No, it was kind of boring to walk around and film. ๐Ÿ˜ The hilly park close to it was kind of fun though. I should also mention that I originally had no intention to film this place, because I thought that it would have been too far from St. Stephen Catholic Secondary School. Turns out that it was not far, so I decided to go for it. Upon reaching the grounds, I contemplated on top of the hill whether or not, I really wanted to cover this place. Well, I was there so I was like, "Just get this place done" Lo and behold, it is here! Now, not trying to make the place sound like it was horrible or anything, because it wasn't. I was just indecisive about coverage. "How come you didn't get St. Elizabeth C.E.S.?" ๐Ÿ˜ณ Um, well, because I just didn't go there. Next! ๐Ÿ˜œ⬇

                          What's Next & Other Ramblings
If this title doesn't look perfectly aligned by the time I publish this, it's because it refused to move to the centre! Despite clicking on "centre" under the alignment tab, it just won't align for the bleeding life of it! ๐Ÿ˜ก AAAAAAAAGH!๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ˜ก So annoying! Whoa, why am I bickering about Blogger's bugs here? Anyways! Let us now discuss the "Doom" and some other bits now.

Impending Doom?
If you've seen my Tweet or Instagram post about it, you'll probably have a very good idea about what I'm about to talk about: YouTube Partner Program 2018 changes! Yep, that's right! You know, 4,000 watch hours and 1000 subscribers by February 20, 2018, or be removed from it, until when you can meet that? Yeah! That's exactly what I'm talking about! And guess what? My channel is freakin' lightyears away from both! ๐Ÿคฏ Ok, hold up. That's being a little too dramatic right there, ๐Ÿ˜… but seriously though; it's indeed "kilometres away" from both targets! Why are they doing this? Well, you can read the full article here. Complete non-sense! I've expressed my disgust against this on both of my social media accounts hyperlinked above, because this is indeed unfair to just cut small creators off, just because their number aren't big enough! ๐Ÿ˜  This leads to a lot of questions: Will Google change their minds? Will my channel somehow make it in time? Will I quit YouTube entirely? Will I move to another platform? Will I continue despite the odds? Will I monetize through other methods? All answers will be revealed in the upcoming commentary video on this matter. ๐Ÿ˜ Stay tuned for that, once it arrives.๐Ÿ˜ถ

The Fate of Subways Surfers
So yeah, as soon as the Cairo Tour that ran from late December 2017 - January 2018 finished, the Chicago event arrived and left Windows 10 Mobile users in the dust! Not a word has been mentioned from Kiloo to date, anywhere on the website, not on a blog, not their Twitter or something! If they have indeed abandoned Windows Phones for good, then they ought to just come out and clearly say so! They had done this with Windows Phone 8.1 and older, and made it clear and public why they ended support. They need to do the same for Windows Phone 10 users as well. It is wrong to have people pay for things in the application, and then go ahead and drop the platform without saying a word. Thankfully, I haven't dropped a dime on this game, even though I enjoyed it while it was supported. But seeing them drop the Window Phone platform without stating the cause, just makes me even happier that I didn't make any in-app purchases. What could the reason be? A bug? Low, unprofitable user base? A short break? Pure carelessness? Nobody at this point knows for sure. With evidence from this Tweet, there are others curious about the situation, too. With all this said, I will no longer play Subway Surfers on any of Microsoft's platforms, until when Kiloo starts to become more transparent about its updates towards the platform.

So you now know all the extra goodies behind the latest videos, why this blog has been titled so, and why I stopped playing Subway surfers. That's if, of course, you actually read the entire blog. The only thing I need to tell you at this point, is what's next. So, you know a commentary video is coming in the future, but what else? Two gaming videos. The rest is currently up in the air at this point. For now, I'll get this post tidied up, post it, and continue with day to day actions.

January 22nd Entry

2018-01-19                                                                                                   GuuzakaTube

January 22nd Entry
Yes! I love how these three videos I'm about to discuss, each represents the channel's major theme of games, commentaries and outdoor things. Too bad I didn't get to upload this post alongside them from the weekday period of 15-19, hence the date difference in the original writing and title. So this aside, what's been happening lately? Well, quite a bit. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜ I'll discuss them in "What's Next & Other Ramblings" like usual, so let's just dive into the details on these videos!

These videos are fun to sit back and watch, but boy! I sure do hate syncing up the audio with the slides! Not sure if I hate editing the audio more or syncing it, but anyways! This is not an "I hate Editing" post. You're here to read the additional details about this video, so I'll feed you with that information. Let us start with what has inspired me to make this video: the suggested/wanted cars polls in the Gameloft forums. While I have yet to directly post my wanted cars list there, it was enough to inspire making this unique list of mine. Whether or not this video will have an impact or not, it was fun coming up with the list of vehicles I really wanted to see. Ok, so let's be honest here: this video likely won't have a big impact due to the obscurity of the channel, but it certainly won't hurt to get it out there! ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜ฌ Anyways, I recorded two attempts with this video: the 1st where the microphone was 30cm away, and the 2nd where the microphone was probably only 10cm away. I liked the stronger and louder audio of the 2nd attempt, so I of course went with that. The problem? I still haven't gotten a pop filter for the Snowball. Therefore, there were a few times here there, where the audio distorted a little, but it wasn't too bad thankfully.๐Ÿ˜“ Aside from this and a few of the slides having awkward scaling, I love how the video turned out. "Can you tell us about that annoying/lame/wonderful/interesting background music you had playing throughout?" Uhhh, well, since you didn't actually ask, I do not have to answer! ๐Ÿ˜œ

For real though: why was I so darn headstrong about getting this place covered? There was a part of my conscience telling me to just chill that day, but I couldn't chill!❄๐ŸŒด I was determined to go outdoors and do something, despite the risk of having my electronics fail to capture anything. Thankfully, there were no frostbites, injuries or anything, but both of my smartphones did shut off. I was concerned about them not saving their videos after the shut offs, but they surprisingly saved them. Of course, I wouldn't have known until I looked into them when I got home, but was worried that the BlackBerry Q10, particularly would have just been like "PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Can't save this!" Really glad it did not do that!๐Ÿ˜… The Lumia did alright, but was hoping that it would have held up the whole time. So cold and smartphone business aside, how did I find the place? I found it to be really interesting, actually. It's just too bad that the bone-chilling cold, just happened to take place that weekend. I could have simply just gone another day, but determinedly chose that weekend, and got it done anyway. This area really did have a lot to see around it, with the fields, the building itself looking presentable, and other grounds that I didn't manage to cover on camera.

The 2nd gameplay video of the 2018 Cairo run. This time, I finally got Princess Jasmine unlocked, and made her the focus of this episode! ๐Ÿ‘ธ Would have been interesting to have that Emirati prince also run in this episode, but it's too bad that he costs nearly 1,000,000 coins to unlock! ๐Ÿคฏ Yeah, so he's not going to be unlocked anytime soon. Or ever??? Why do I say that? Because Subway Surfers has now brought on the Chicago 2018 Tour, which I also believe is all-new, and yet I don't see it when I launch the application? ๐Ÿคจ๐Ÿค” Have they pulled the plug for Windows 10 Mobile? ๐Ÿ˜ฌ I know this was done to Windows 8.1 and older, but since they've relaunched the game for Windows Mobile as a Universal Windows Platform application, I would hope that this would allow for much longer support. Due to this suspicion, I will no longer be playing Subway Surfers, unless I see that they are actually supporting Windows 10 Mobile. ☠

Yeah, so it's been 22 days into 2018 so far. Quite a bit has already happened in the headlines all over the world. And of course, this would definitely include YouTube! ๐Ÿค’ Sheesh, where do I start? What should I discuss? How long should I make this part? So many questions, so little answers, but here we go!

Whether you've been trying to avoid it or not, we're all aware of that Paul Logan controversy. The reason I suddenly mention this is because after it took place, there's been a storm of reactions all over the Internet! He has apologized from long time, and looked very sincere and sorry about it. Was he actually sorry? Or is he just doing this to desperately cover his butt? Either way, YouTube has announced that they will be taking more measures to make sure so-called "inappropriate" content doesn't have monetary advertisements playing on them. ๐Ÿ™„ Fantastic! Just what we needed, eh? YouTube making it even harder for people to get money off it. Did they not already so something like this last year, all thanks to people uploading racist, hateful, disgusting, abhorrent content? Why, yes! Yes they did. I even remember doing a commentary on this too. Thankfully, 98% of my videos haven't been demonetized, and I would like it to stay that way. Others, haven't been as lucky, while some get away with even more than I do. Let's keep things fair, and not try to make everyone suffer all because of those that can't stop being so vulgar!๐Ÿ˜

The weather! For those of us in Southern Ontario and surrounding areas, temperatures have been such a roller coaster for the past 22 days! You'd have some weekends where it'd sink down to a bone-chilling -20°C, and then you'd have days at like +6°C. ๐Ÿ˜ต Talk about aggressive inconsistency!

Donald Trump! I know, I know. You must be tired of hearing about this man, but I've got to discuss him! So as we likely all know by now, during a meeting in which involved immigration talks, that I believe took place on the 11th, the President grew frustrated and then called certain Latin American, Haiti and all of Africa ๐Ÿ’ฉhole countries! ๐Ÿ˜ต๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜ฐ๐Ÿ˜ฉ๐Ÿ˜ญ Some claim that he did not say this, while others say that he did, and that he also said it repeatedly! What's the real story here? Well, there is honestly no 100% certainty, but he very likely did. He is desperately trying to cover it up, after being heavily criticized by the media and other nations about what he said. What we know for certain, is that Donald has on many occasions made derogatory remarks about other countries, particularly Latin American and African countries many times. Whether you support this man or not, these are solid facts, that have been recorded. Funnily, when he was asked if he was a racist at a later point, he didn't answer and tried to make his way quickly out of the room. During another day, he of course went on to later claim, "I am not racist! I am the least racist person you have ever interviewed!" ๐Ÿ˜ I have an extremely hard time believing that. He even tried to defend his "tough language" which only just adds more evidence to the belief that he did say ๐Ÿ’ฉhole. Mister Trump, actions speak louder than words. If you want people to believe that you're truly not an inflammatory person, you've got to watch what you say! For instance, one cannot say that they love cats and then proceed to routinely kicking them. Actions and words ought to be aligned with one another.

Let's discuss the cars shown in January 2018. At both the International Consumer Electronics Show and Detroit shows, there were a lot of cool cars seen. The ones that have my interest most are of course the electric cars like the Faraday Future FF91. There was also the Byton, which is a Chinese all-electric crossover concept car. Not sure if it'll ever end up on North American shores, but it does look quite cool. The Lexus LF-1 Limitless is a crossover, that may or may not end up being all-electric. I really hope that they make it an all-electric car. It's high time we see a pure electric car come from Toyota's luxury brand, Lexus.

So! That does it for this entry, and now I am out! Be sure to check out last week's videos in case you missed them!

December 26th Entry: Where Have I been?!

GuuzakaTube                                                                                                   2017-12-17

December 26th Entry: Where Have I been?!

For real though, where have I been?! Why wasn't there an entry uploaded last week? Why was there a video uploaded on the 15th, then 3 on the 22nd, and one yesterday without any mention of them on social media? And why isn't this entry titled "Boxing Day" when it's clearly happening on Boxing Day? Ah, lots of questions you guys must have. Well, we can start with the latter first: I didn't do any Boxing Day shopping, nor do I plan to do any, so I figured that it wouldn't make too much sense to give it that title, when it's not going to be the focus. In regards to the cryptic uploads and absence of their social media follow ups, it's a combination of it being the busy season, and making the YouTube Rewinds and Christmas video. Both of these were more time consuming than I anticipated. Keep reading to get the full scoop on everything that was missed and not explained! ๐Ÿ˜…

Yep! In case you still don't know, the very same company we know, and love, for making awesome vehicles like the Porsche 918 and Porsche Cayenne, is making honey! Sweet, sticky, buzzy honey! When I first read the headlines about this, it struck me so hard that it triggered me to make a video on this. And now, I'm here typing a blog entry on it, as I'm driving in my blue all-new 2018 all-electric Porsche Cayenne. ๐Ÿคฅ Yeah, you know where this is heading by now with the presence of that emoji. Despite them saying that you can buy this, I don't know where, or if you can buy it from them directly. To be honest, it very likely tastes the same as regular honey. Being made from a high-performance German automotive manufacturer, will not give it a high-performance taste, and it certainly should not! That would be very suspicious! ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜ฌ

A 36 minute long Asphalt 8 video? Yep! I've done quite a bit in this episode! Assembly, Championship racing, regular racing, opening boxes, max outs, and what else? Oh, of course, chatting! Excluding the assembly segment, this video was done after I finished updating it to the 24th update: Hot Wheels! ๐Ÿค” I know, Hot Wheels cars in Asphalt 8. Like I expressed in the video, I'd prefer for them to stick to real cars, but whatever. It's not like we forcibly need to buy them anyway. Some people have even blatantly stated that they'd skip the Championship for them, and I don't blame them. At the time I write this, these Hot Wheels vehicles don't even have Season 9 and Mastery Tracks available, to make pursuing them even more pointless! Wow, did they really just throw these in as joke? Will they change this in the future? And when they do get Season 9 tracks, I HOPE that they give them the newer places like Munich or Patagonia! Please, no older tracks like Tokyo, Nevada or Azure Coast! There's enough of those already, and there's no shortage of them in the Career Mode through Seasons 1-8. Aside from the goofy cars, this update THANKFULLY has not brought any dreaded changes, like price increases, turning old cars into blueprints, or turning credit cars into token cars, to name a few. It's actually brought some welcome ones, such as the feature that allows you to keep fusing without having to open a box (though being able to turn them into credits was still better!), and the new cars outside of the toy cars. For the next video, things should get pretty interesting after I finally get some of my beasts pro'd! Oh yeah, and did I mention how glad I am that they're still keeping the updates going for Windows Phone? Well, for now at least...๐Ÿ˜ They still never officially got back to me, nor do I expect them to.๐Ÿ˜’

Still not playing this game as much as I used to, hence why I'm not as rich as I used to be in-game. That said, I didn't want to miss a gameplay session of this new update, so I dedicated some time to play on the Christmas themed Saint Petersburg track. Loved it! Similarly to the Halloween track back in October and part of November, it was well decorated with festivity, and had seasonal music mixed into the original Subway Surfers soundtrack. Still haven't unlocked Nicolai yet, but I better get on that before I miss it! I mean, he may appear again sometime in the future during Wednesday or Thursday I think, but that's no guarantee. Seriously though, even though it's the same repetitive gameplay mechanics, the track is really well done. ๐ŸŽ„✨❄

So I finally decided that 2017 would be the year that I make a video about this, eh? A few years back, I thought about doing something like this, but never gave it any serious thought, till when this year came. As a result, it gave me a lot of YouTube Rewinds to talk about, which also made the video a little more time consuming to put together, but so what? It was honestly a lot of fun to go back and watch 8 years worth of YouTube Rewinds! Oh, how things have changed from 2010 to 2017! And of course, people hate that. They hate how the YouTube Rewinds have become more fast paced, longer, and keep featuring more YouTubers that they "can't recognize" or just do not like. Honestly, I thought YouTube Rewind 2017 was pretty good. In fact, if you've watched the video before coming here, you'll know that it actually turned out to be my 2nd favourite YouTube Rewind, only behind the 2012 Rewind. People have their likes and dislikes, but mine isn't swayed by the masses, hence why I did not smash the dislike button. Though Rewind 2017 still has more likes than dislikes, it looks like it could possibly end up the same boat as Rewind 2011, if the dislikes keep coming at a rapid pace! ๐Ÿ˜ฐ๐Ÿคฏ Ok, so maybe they're not coming fast enough for that to happen, but still. Wow. Should be interesting to see what 2018 will bring. Do you think they will go back to making them shorter? Will they slow down the fast paced edits? Will they include more "familiar" faces? Honestly, the latter is so subjective. While it's assumed that most people will know YouTubers like PewDiePie, Jenna Marbles, KSI and what not, there's no 100% guarantee that everyone actually does. And even if they did decide to only include the top 10 most subscribed YouTubers to make it "familiar", you'd have people complain about that too. ๐Ÿ˜ Cannot please all the people.

Ho, ho, hooooooo! Merry Christmas! ๐ŸŽ„๐Ÿ˜„๐ŸŽ„ This also marks the first time on YouTube, where I had to file a dispute! ๐Ÿ˜ต "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA?! A dispute on Christmas?!" Some of you must saying. Yep, that's right. As soon as I uploaded the video and went into video manager, I noticed that a pop up came telling me that part of my video has audio that was done as a cover song of someone else's song! ๐Ÿคฏ Not sure if that emoji does enough to explain it, but seriously though?! Why was I being told that I was eligible for splitting revenue over a video, that was entirely created by me? I went in to see which part of it caused the video to be claimed. Lo and behold, it was the segment where I played We Three Kings. ๐Ÿคจ Who claimed it? It was automatically claimed by Rayarmoovar/[SIDMM] Vincey productions. Who are they? A Tamil Channel that specializes in uploading Christian Music. So ok, we're all wondering why was my music claimed as copyright, despite the fact that everything was played by me from scratch, and that We Three Kings is a song that does not belong to them. This song was created by John Henry Hopkins Junior, all the way back in 1857, meaning that there is no legalities attached to it, so long as you play it yourself. I can only assume that my tenor recorder must have sounded so much like something they may have done in the past, that it caused YouTube's broken system to flag it as their music... ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿพ‍♂️ Ridiculous... I hope the "owners" will be reasonable and review this dispute soon, because it's not fair for me to have to split revenue for something that does not belong to them. I know, I know. For a Christmas segment, I sure sound bitter here, but I have every right to. YouTube's copyright system is something everyone's been complaining about from the dawn of ages. Now that it's personally happened to me, I can relate even more to the pain that others had to go through for even sillier and worse scenarios. Ranting aside, playing and recording these songs turned out to be much more time consuming than I anticipated, but I'm glad I did it in time before Christmas. I definitely need to start playing more tenor recorder more regularly and seriously! It shouldn't have taken me so many attempts to record a proper version of songs that were supposed to be "easy".... ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜ฐ๐Ÿ˜ญ☹ And even then, the intonation still could have been better. If I plan to learn other instruments in the future, then I'm going to need to get much more serious with my music practice and continue to review music theory.

Yeh, so if you managed to read through all that, you'll have the full story of what has been happening over the last 10 days or so. This time of the year always seems to be busy and hectic. Well, 2017 is about to end in 5 days, and then it will be an all-new year: 2018! What will 2018 bring? God knows... Let's just hope it will be a good one and that it will sail smoothly. Now because I do have three outdoor videos "in the queue" that I would like to edit and post, I will probably do my 2017 reflection post either at the end of it, or maybe just make it a standalone post on December 31, 2017. Depending on how things go, we'll see what happens.

November 3rd Entry

GuuzakaTube                                                                                                   2017-11-02

November 3rd Entry

So yesterday's entry was all about that channel trailer, but today's entry will be about the videos uploaded before it. With two of them being outdoor videos, 2 games, 1 game/discussion and an unboxing, you can definitely say that this batch is quite an interesting assortment.

That galloping, rackety sound was present so I scrapped the original audio from the video, and made it 99% silent. There, I said it. That's exactly why I made the video silent. Not because I wanted it to be, but because that sound was obnoxiously present in it. Thankfully, the video I did in Pickering was entirely spared from this sound, because I actually remembered to completely click the damn kickstand into the case! ๐Ÿ˜– Anyways, that's enough bickering about that. You came here learn more about this video, or maybe you just decided to casually from here from the links on my Twitter and Instagram? So anyways! The purpose of this video was originally to film the hung up ghosts at Mills Motors Buick GMC, but by the time I decided to go there, they were gone. I then decided to just briefly walk across the dealership, film some of Oshawa's downtown areas, Ontario Motor Sales Chevrolet Cadillac, and then called it quits in front of a random Speedy Auto Service. Though the silly ghosts weren't present, this video turned out -- or would have turned out to be an excellent night test video in a city environment... if only we could only hear the original sounds! ๐Ÿ˜ญ Gosh darn it man! Oh well. I can always film another place in the night at another time, or even Oshawa again if I really wanted to. We'll see.

My second recorded run on this track. Did the colours look good this time? No, still rather distorted, but one does not simply expect a BlackBerry Q10 to capture a secondary screen's colours with amazing accuracy. And to make things even more insulting, the BlackBerry restarted itself and aborted its video when it accidentally tipped over and fell onto the Lumia. ๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜“ Ba dum tss? Wasn't thrilled about losing a 20 minute video at all, so I just resorted to playing and recording another session. I wonder which track will come after this one? Christmas maybe? Or will Kiloo wait till December for that? Time will tell.

Wow. Such game. Very Doge. Much Flappy. So Sky. Stahp now! ๐Ÿ˜ Ok, if you do not know the meme, you will not understand! If you do, good for you! ๐Ÿ˜ So Doge is one of many Internet animals on the web with a lot of jokes and captions, and now there's a game on him?! Wow, so cool! Wait, I actually learned yesterday that Doge is actually a girl, and not a boy! Wow, go figure. Anyways! This game is much like all the flappin' flappy spin-offs you have known, hated and loved. Tap your screen and safely get the character through the pylons to go as far as you can. Only thing with this one, is that it's tough! You normally do not hear me complain about Flappy games being hard, but this one is a rather special case. ๐Ÿค Oh yes! In the beginning of the video, you can hear me saying that I've been "erroneously" referring to the game as Flappy Doge, when it should have been Flying Doge? As I've just looked up, there is such a game titled Flappy Doge and guess what? It is much more feature rich than the game available on Windows Phone! So this means that it's nothing more than just a poor clone of the versions available on iOS and Android. While disappointing, this is definitely not a surprise. Windows Phone does have equal versions with games sometimes, but there are also a good number of times where it doesn't. Just the way it is with the Windows Phone operating system, which is by the way now officially dead, but I'm sure you knew that.

Ah, Asphalt 8. The most famous, highest quality, mobile racing game, yet also one of the most frustrating for a number of reasons! For real though. As much as I love this game, there are a lot of things present in it, that do not make it as enjoyable as it should be. In the video, I mentioned that the races pay far too little, and need to pay 3X what they currently do. This is because the costs of the cars is just bonkers, and the max out prices on much of the cars after the Great Wall Update, shoot beyond the freakin' sky! ๐Ÿค• I also complained about blueprints, and how hard they are to get, and how it makes some cars borderline impossible to achieve for the average player. Tokens need to be removed entirely from the game, and go back to just good ol' credits. Seriously, they're pointlessly difficult to obtain, and just complicates the currency system. Hackers! In multiplayer, many of us have noticed players who cannot wreck, and respawn immediately upon crashing right ahead of others. These hackers also have everything maxed, pro'ed and typically have all the power-ups. Speaking of that, that's one thing I forgot to mention on camera - boosters! In multiplayer, separate the people who have boosters activated from those who don't! In fact, I've actually seen this complaint on many websites before, and guess what?  It still has not been addressed! Asphalt 8 as of the Motorcycles Update has a lot of cool things going for it, but there are a number of things players have complained about that aren't getting addressed! Is it getting to the point that Gameloft should stop adding bells and whistles to Asphalt 8, and just start fresh with Asphalt 9 for 2018 or something? Yeah, it's time for that. Leave out the "pay-to-win" and just make people buy the game outright instead of all these ads and buy this, buy that. Get rid of blueprints; get rid of tokens; have all cars cost no more than 125,000 - 465,000 credits to max out respective of their class; separate boosted players from non-boosted in multiplayer; iron out all the bugs and glitches that cause people to randomly wreck and skid; and no more extremely expensive vehicles with races that pay too little. I could go on with more things, but I believe this is good enough for now.

While the BlackBerry Q10 has a number of cases available for it, it does not have very many beltclip cases out there for it. Even smartphones like the Nokia Lumia 1520 oddly have a better variety. But of course, nothing beats the sheer number of the iPhone! They get every single case imaginable, which is quite frankly insane. The Samsung Flagships and others get a ton of variety too, but the iPhones apparently top them out. Anyways! So on my search for a beltclip case that wasn't black and bland, I was able to fortunately discover a blue case from the Mpero brand on eBay. I of course made sure that this was a good case for durability, and checked the sellers credentials before the purchase. Like most smartphone cases I purchased in the past, this one also came out from California. Now I'm under the impression that you can find smartphone cases for any smartphone in that that state! ๐Ÿคฃ No matter how exotic they are, or how unpopular your phone may be, Californian shops have them all! So now that I've had this case for a few days, I can tell you that I really do like it. Love both the colour and handiness of being able to clip it onto your belt or part of your pants. As for durability, I didn't do no hardcore testing since it's the only case I have, and the only Q10 I have on me. Still, it held up nicely to my fingernail scratches, and the moderate scissors scratch I've done on camera. Off camera (or more like today!), it also fell into a sink from around 50cm-60cm and did not crack or anything. ๐Ÿ˜ That, was not intentional... Anyways, if you wish to buy this case, the exact name for it is: MPERO Collection 3 in 1 Tough Blue Kickstand Case for BlackBerry Q10. Now if you want it in pink or black, you'll just have to change the blue part.

Pickering! It's been a while since I've made a video in you, so even though it was cold and lightly raining that day, I was feeling very driven to make a video that weekend in this city. Despite the weather, it turned out to be a very interesting walk around. And yes, Pickering's Brock Road and namesake Pickering Parkway are both very busy roads! As you will know from my commentary in the video, there are a number of parks in the area, but because I likely haven't ever been there, or have been there from too long ago to remember, I wasn't familiar with where exactly I was, until I saw the respective signs in the parks. But after wandering around for some time, it soon led to me an unexpected skateboard park that was filled with graffiti! I was originally going to name the video "Rainy Day on Brock Road in Pickering" or something along the lines of that, but as soon I ran into this, I knew that it would have been a much better idea to mention the catchy words "skateboard" and "graffiti" in the same title for a better click rate.  And the best part about it? What you see in the title, is what you get. Now while I personally do not think graffiti is good, it makes for very interesting photography sessions.

I sure put a lot of pictures into this entry haven't I? ๐Ÿ–ผ And notice how some of them have special effects? That's because I kept my word from last entry about how I'd do more testing with ProShot Classic, and surely it's a blast to use! Still don't know what's going on with the limited functions of Proshot, but that's because I admittedly haven't looked heavily into it. Proshot business aside, those of you who play Asphalt 8 will know that the new Munich Update has been out for some days, and boy does it sound problematic based on complaints I've read from the forums and other places! ๐Ÿ˜ฌ Gameloft has said that they have issued a hotfix that should fix these problems, but when and how will depend on your platform. I'm on Windows Phone, and have only spent around 20 minutes on it yesterday, so I have't noticed a ton yet. One thing I did notice, was how the race did not end in multiplayer after I crossed that line! It finished after running for another 20-30 seconds past the finish line! So, that's just one of many potential issues, but we'll see how severe my ultimate experience will be. And yes, while we speak of Asphalt 8, I do plan to do an experimental video of how I can capture a gameplay session of it on my Nokia Lumia 1520. There's also a certain a person that I REALLY need to do commentary video on! ๐Ÿ˜œ I'll try and get started on that today, so I can hopefully get it up sometime next week! Don't worry, it's not a hate, exposed, or roasted video. Though I know that's exactly what some of you would love to see, but I do not make such videos unless there's a 100% legitimate reason to do so. Now for the outdoor videos, I wasn't entirely sure where I'd be going this weekend, but I think I have an idea now. And before I conclude this entry, I'd like to say that I'm not fond of the fact that Daylight Savings ends on November 5 for most of us in Canada. I don't know why they couldn't just leave it an hour ahead and stop with this time shift. Some people will disagree about keeping it an hour ahead, but I'm sure we can all agree that it just needs to stop, right? Or do you disagree?๐ŸŒ‘☀๐Ÿ•’
