December 29th Entry: 2017's Days Are Numbered

They really are. There's just 2 full days left of 2017. After that, it'll be gone forever. Some people will be glad to see it go, some will be sad, while some will be indifferent. Regardless of emotions, 2018's coming super soon! What will be in store for my channel and life? Find out in my final 2017 entry coming in a day, two or three from now... For now, let us just discuss those recent outdoor videos that were uploaded to my channel yesterday.🕒

"For real though, what happened?" Some of you must be wondering. Well, actually, nobody's seen the video yet as I type this, so you haven't actually asked yet. But I suspect that you might, so let's just finally get down with this! The day I've originally filmed the first segment without the snow, was also the same day I filmed the Duke of Cambridge Public School. You can probably predict what happened by now: storage. I ran out of it.😰 Thankfully, that November marked the last time this would happen, thanks to my new, trusty Samsung micro SD card. Ok, so just what happened the following weeks? Well, I just didn't get the opportunity to go outdoors and film, which was really annoying, but oh well. When I finally got the opportunity to film, I almost didn't want to go back to this dull area, but because I had already attempted it, I told myself to finish it. Surely, I did. And yes, no offense, this area is boring. 😐 Just being real and honest. The other two destinations I'm about to discuss soon, weren't too bad though. That said, the snowfall made for some interesting footage and photography, as you can see in both the pictures here and the video itself.

Oh, Saint Joseph! How difficult you were to walk around! It's a fairly interesting place, but the snow, slopes and awkward cut off points, make this place a bit of a challenge to walk around. Then again, who walks around schools to film them again? 🦗😳 Yeah, I thought so too! 🤣 With it being my very first time exploring this area, it made for a fresher filming and photography session for me. I did have intentions to do the Roman Catholic church associated with it, but because it was open at the time, I decided against it.

This place was totally unplanned, as I only had to intentions to finish Ontario Street and capture the Saint Joseph buildings that day. Lo and behold, as I was walking up Liberty Street, I saw this place looking nice and vacant, so I went for it! I was surprised to figure out that it turned out to be yet another one of those Salvation Army Community churches. Remember the one in Oshawa? Ok, how about Whitby? During the video, I suspected that there may be one in every major municipality, after making the discovery of what kind of church it was. I haven't looked into it, so I don't know how true that is, but there's likely many throughout Ontario and perhaps even the other provinces and territories. Well, I don't know about the territories part. 😅 Anyways, it was nice seeing this place by surprise and exploring it. Though the drivers on Liberty Street must have been like, "Da hell is this guy doing?" 🤣😳😨😧

There were plans to get two commentaries and an Asphalt 8 video uploaded, but due to intense time constraints, that will certainly not be happening! But don't worry, you'll see them during unspecified times in January 2018. New Year's be right at the door step! One thing that's going to be sad for BlackBerry 10 users, is that WhatsApp will no longer function! 😬 Well ok, we still don't know if it'll just work without any more updates, but it's still bad news. Yes, I know that you can just use the Android version, or buy a BlackBerry Keyone or something, but what if you don't feel like doing either of those two?🤔 The answer? You use it and accept that there be limitations, or you just do either of the other two options. Yes, I do have a Windows Phone, that is luckily still getting support from them, but the problem is a lack of a physical keyboard on 99% of smartphones these days! Typing longer messages on a virtual keyboard is still rather painful for me.... While we're on the topic of smartphones, it looks like Apple has not only come open about their battery shenanigans, but also apologized and will give iPhone users a function that monitors the battery, as apposed to the phone just underclocking itself without the users consent. Or at least, I hope that's what the case is. If you ask me, I'd rather have sheer blistering speed at the sacrifice of battery life, over a slow, power-efficient device. Not a fan of slow electronics at all! 😑 Anyway, that's been it for this entry, so I will see you Sunday for la finale?🤔
