Nothing Special To Say

I did not end up posting anything last month. Be it videos or weblog posts. 😢 I had intentions to do a write-up on a variety of things I noted somewhere on a notepad, but I cannot find that file? 🀨 Darn. If you did not do anything particularly special this holidays, then hey, welcome to the club. ✋🏾 Neither did I. πŸŽ„ Channel uploads have been at a snail's pace this year. Will Year 2025 be better? I hope so. 🌟

Christmas 2020: When God Sends Snow

Let It Snow

Did you know? πŸŽ„ That during the daytime of Christmas Eve in my area, there was no snow? 🀨 During that time, I thought this year was going to be a mild, green Christmas! 😁 Yes, I actually prefer my winters to be like that. 🌴 However, when the nighttime rolled in, the Greater Toronto Area suddenly got covered in snow! 🀯 In fact, check this out:

"Toronto and the surrounding area was a winter wonderland on Friday, as snow started to fall on Christmas Eve night and continued into Christmas morning."CityNews Toronto

Did you click on the link source? πŸ€” Told you I wasn't making this up. 😢 It feels as though God saw that the year was chaotic, and decided to send snow to cheer people up for Christmas. πŸ˜‡ While some do not care for it, you have to admit that a little snow will not do you any harm. For some, the presence of snow drives them to throw on their hats, jackets, pants, and boots to get out there and enjoy it! ❄πŸ₯³ Or clean it. 😐

Speaking of that, I heard people outside early morning shovelling snow. ❄ How early? 7:00 AM approximately. πŸ•– To get up that early on Christmas morning just to shovel snow is a special type of madness determination. πŸ˜‚πŸ€£

Merry Christmas And Happy New Year

May there be peace, health, and prosperity. πŸ™πŸΎ Merry Christmas and have Happy 2021 New Year! 🎊

Merry Christmas 2019: Final Of The Decade

Merry Christmas blog readers! πŸŽ„ I hope you are having an excellent day! ⭐ We are now down to just 6 days left of the entire 2010-2019 decade. 😲 Many unknowns lie ahead, which can either make you mostly nervous, excited, or likely a blend of both. Now, I do not think I have mentioned it in any of my Christmas entries, so it needs to be said now: Christmas is not Christ' actual birthday. "DUH! We know that Guuzaka!" You must be thinking. πŸ˜‚πŸ€£ More importantly, I hope that Christmas will become non-commercialized real soon. 😐 Wishful thinking, but I am serious.

It may not be Christ' birthday, but it is rather unfortunate that the day has become so increasingly focused on commercialism and Christmas characters -- neither of which Christmas should be about. So what should Christmas truly be about then? 🀨
having fun. Not breaking the bank account, not competing with your neighbours to see who can put the most Christmas lights on your house: just having a proper good time. So with that said, I will keep this short and head about my business now. 🌠

July 17th Entry: Canadian Uploads

GuuzakaTube                                                                                                   2018-07-17

July 17th Entry: Canadian Uploads

It probably would have made more sense to upload the Canada Day 2018 videos during the same week they were uploaded, but whatever. It's not like I have anyone gunning me down or constantly asking "Where da videos at?!" So we're good! πŸπŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ

Yeah, yeah, not the greatest low light photographs around. Surely, I could've used the iPhone 6s Plus that day, which very likely would have generated much better photos and video, but I did not. Anyways! Anything super special about Canada 151? No, but it was still lots of fun. One thing I did notice about Canada 151 over Canada 150 from last year, is that the fireworks lasted a little longer. Well, at least at this location that is. I should probably do Toronto next year, though I also hear that the firework shows don't last as long down there. Not sure how much truth there is to that. One thing's certain is that it'll be much more crowded, so I don't know if it'll be easy to walk around and film my surroundings. I believe that they do perform the fireworks in a variety of locations, so I could look into the least crowded there is. Sounds like wishful thinking, but we'll see what happens when the time comes. Maybe it will be Toronto. Maybe not. Hell, it could even end up being nation's capitol: Ottawa.

Fireworks! They are so majestic to watch, especially on a lakefront! πŸŒ πŸŒŸπŸŒ™πŸŒŠ Not much else I have to say, other than that it was wonderful -- except for the mosquitoes! πŸ˜–πŸ’‰ You notice that man moving around in front of me? It was because of the mosquitoes why he couldn't stay still. 😳 I believe it wasn't caught on camera, but I heard him clearly say, "I was moving the whole time because of the mosquitoes" 😐 Even though I had applied some Lemon Eucalyptus to stop the mosquito bites, the excessive sweating from the heat sheds the smell and efficacy of it quicker than usual. If you couldn't occasionally hear me blowing mosquitoes off of my Nokia Lumia 1520 during the filming, then good! πŸ˜… If you never even noticed, then pretend I never even said that. 😳🍁 Even though the mosquitoes in Canada do not carry Chikungunya, Zika, Dengue and other tropical viruses, they have been occasionally tested for West Nile Virus and Dirofilaria repens, so apply something to deter them! Citrobug, CitronellaLemon Eucalyptus -- just something safe to protective yourself. Hopefully you had a safe, memorable Canada 151.

The ninth episode of the musical madness. πŸ€ͺ🎨🎼 Unfortunately, this one was also one of the most miserable ones to record, largely for one reason: failed video segments!  πŸ˜’πŸ˜πŸ˜°πŸ˜±πŸ˜‘πŸ€¬ I don't know why the video just couldn't save like normal. Why did it have to cut off at 8 minutes, when the video should have been 12 minutes of one continuous segment? In one of the slides in the video, I clearly blame it on the Nokia Lumia 1520's inability to 4k for continuous periods under very hot conditions. But honestly, that should not be an excuse for this! Yes, the room was 30°C. But it also had a Samsung Evo Plus MicroSDXC 64GB Memory Card, which is touted as being highly weather-resistant and capable of shooting 4K smoothly. So what could the problem truly be? Would it had made a difference if I saved the video to the internal space? One thing I did not think about was the fact that it was running Windows 10 Mobile.

"Huh?!" Many of you must be like. You see, it just struck me today that the reason a good number of people did not upgrade their Nokias that could have received the update was because of performance issues. Overheating included. The the thing is, Windows Phone 8.1 is no longer supported -- surprise! And because of that, it has far worse application support, which is already bad to begin with. And then there's the issue of missing security patches. Now while hackers aren't lining up in the masses to target Windows Phone 8.1, I'd rather not take any chances. And besides, even though many claim performance is "smoother" I also found Windows Phone 8.1 to do weird things to the screen. Such is not the case in Windows 10 Mobile. LOL at how this post should have been about music! Instead, here I am rambling about the performance problems a Nokia Lumia 1520 experiences when it gets too hot. Film indoors during high heat, against something white and it makes it twice as worse! πŸ˜πŸ™„πŸ˜‘ As much as it sucks the BlackBerry Q10 cannot shoot in 4K, nor does it have optical image stabilization, at least it saves the entire video in hot weather.

Unless, it randomly reboots from a knock or loose battery terminals, then the whole video may be lost. 😭 Even then, the entire file will still save, but will need to be restored with an alternative program. If you know how to fix codecs and that type of thing, then you may know what to do. iPhone 6s Plus, it should be interesting to see how well you can record in extreme heat, cold, and what you do with your videos files when you randomly shut off. Do you save the entire file? Cut off after recording at an unknown point in the video? None of the above? Time will tell...πŸ•’πŸŽ I wonder what an Android phone such as the Sony Xperia XZ Premium or Samsung Galaxy Note 8, does under these conditions? πŸ€” If you are reading this far into this blog post, please share your experience! It would be very helpful for not only myself, but others who like to film extensively with smartphones outdoors as well.

I don't really know at this point. I should probably try and film a gaming video that isn't Asphalt 8! 🀣 Comment below on what you have done during Canada Day. If you're American, share what you did this year for Independence Day

"Where is Canada Day 2014 and earlier?" Good question. Canada Day 2014 was intended to be recorded, but I did not even up going out that year. For 2013 and earlier, they were never filmed.

Do I even need to explain? Of course not! Today is my country's 151st birthday! πŸ˜„πŸ✨πŸŽ‰πŸŽŠπŸŽ†πŸŽ‡ Now I did intend to type this entry earlier, but was busy doing other things, so I'm doing it now. Ok, I'm about to head out in less than an hour to watch fireworks on Lake Ontario. Therefore, I'll end this ultra short blog post right here, and I wish you a safe, sober, memorable Canada Day 2018.  πŸπŸ™πŸΎπŸ

Father's Day 2018

GuuzakaTube                                                                                                  2018-06-17

Father's Day 2018

πŸ”΅This blog post may contain affiliate links

Happy Father's Day 2018! 😎 So just what is everyone doing today? Well, that'll depend largely on their interest. Some people will probably be dining out, going outdoors, barbecuing, or even just relaxing indoors. Now of course, Father's Day will have a different meaning depending on your personal circumstance: remembrance of your deceased father, honouring the parent who has been like a father to you, and so forth. You get the idea. Either way, if you do not have work today, which most Canadians won't, you're hopefully taking the time to just recharge your batteries. πŸ”‹ If you aren't, then find some time within the day to recharge! ⚡

Live in Canada and still haven't found a gift for your father yet? The Philips Series 9000 Rotary ShaverRoots 73 Travel S Leather Bi-fold Passport CoverOtterBox Commuter Fitted Hard Shell Case for iPhone 8 Plus/7 Plus - BlackScuderia Ferrari Red Rev Watch ( Red texture dial) are a few ideas. Mother's Day 2018 Entry

GuuzakaTube                                                                                                  2018-05-13

Mother's Day 2018 Entry

Ah, it's that time of the year again: Mother's Day! πŸ˜„ The day where we officially acknowledge mothers. Well, this day may not be seen as a significant day for some, understandably for variable, personal circumstances. For most of us though, it is an annual holiday observed across many countries, but certainly not all of them. Some countries do not recognize it, while others apparently just have one day for both parents. Alright, there's admittedly not a ton I have to say here, so just have a Happy Mother's Day! I do not know how hot or cold it might be where you are, but let's just hope it's good enough to go outdoors.

Ok, now for the photographs I posted on Instagram yesterday! πŸ“Έ

Aren't they lovely? 😏

Father's Day 2017

GuuzakaTube 06.18.17

Father's Day 2017

That's right. It's Father's Day for us here in Canada! Though Father's Day is celebrated in over 40 countries around the wold, the date of celebration actually varies, with some countries not even considering it a public holiday. Nonetheless, it's pretty cool to have a day that recognizes the male parental figure, as there is for the female parental figure. Now I know: some of you don't have good fathers, or maybe d o not have a father that is presently alive, but do not fret, be angry, sad or bitter about this day. Instead, take the time to focus on something more positive and enjoyable like going outdoors, hanging out with friends, playing with your cat, macaw – something! You know what your hobbies and enjoyable activities are, so stick with that. What am I doing for Father's Day? Well, nothing special admittedly. My father lives abroad, so I can't spend physical time with him, but I was still able to speak with him and wish him a Happy Father's Day. I also sent him a fine Italian suit, LG V20, Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design, Antonio Stradivari viola, golden razor, case of work tools, silver mug, Armani sunglasses, 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLS, Nike Air Forces, and—ok, ok! We all know by now that none of this actually happened. Just me being... well... fill in the blanks!

For real though: what in the universe happened?! Well, as you can see from the recent uploads on the channel, there are 8 new videos on the channel! Yeah. As you can imagine, editing all of those took a lot of time, especially Have Pickup Trucks Gotten Uglier?” and “Ontario Hyundai (Whitby) [Immaturity]”. If you've been reading for a while, you'll know that I've been complaining and beating on myself for at least a month and half over this “late as hell” commentary, so I finally got down to it and got it done. FINALLY! My professional whipper has done a good job last week at fiercely whipping out all the tardiness, slackness, and procrastination out of me to get these videos done! Still, the timing and deadlines could have been better to allow for the entries to happen, but oh well. There's only so much whipping and work that can be done during the weekdays. I'll get the entries typed up for them on Monday, and try to make it the last time that I end up failing to get the entries before the weekend. I know, I know, I'm self-lecturing yet again, but I seriously need to be better with completions and deadlines. Consistency is key.

Sorry

Sorry for what?” You might ask. The Mother's Day 2017 entry. Why am I apologizing for this? Because it did not live up to it's name and “hype”. When I initially posted the picture on Instagram with those wonderful flowers and “Mother's Day” and blog post in the title, it surely got a lot of people to like the photo and made it my most read blog entry, and still is to date. Thing is, it hardly talked about Mother's Day, meaning that I felt this was more honestly like clickbait! GASP! As you'll know from my videos' titles and thumbnails on my channel, I do not use the obnoxious clickbait titles that you see 97% of YouTubers using. I hate clickbait! What you see is what you get on my channel. That's the way the Mother's Day post should have been. Yes, it wasn't even originally intended for Mother's Day, but if it ended up being uploaded on Mother's Day, and had all those lovely flowers, then I should have made more of an effort to make it worthy of such a title. As you can see with this Father's Day 2017 post, I actually made it relevant so that you will not feel duped or disappointed. Now I know nobody complained about it, but still. We can all agree that thumbnails and titles for videos, blog posts, magazines and what not, ought to actually live up to their cover! Clickbait is disgusting, shameful, desperate and dishonest!
