November 13th Entry: Mid-November Product Suggestions

It's been a while since I've done a product suggestions post. Rather than awkwardly sticking it all the way down the bottom of one of my regular entries, I figured it's better to just dedicate a sole blog post for these types of entries. So, yes! Let's dive into this and show you some cool products! 😄

LG V30 Case, (Huey - Black) Ultra Slim Protective Armor: Courtesy of Amazon

When shopping for smartphone cases, I'm usually into the heavy duty cases that have kickstands, beltclips or all of the above. But that said, I do keep a few regular cases around, especially if they really catch my eye. If you've seen my unboxing videos, you'll know that a good number of my cases are blue. Why? Because blue is one of my favourite colours and it just looks so good! Yeah, kind of lame, but a lot of people can't deny that's a popular colour. Anyways! Not only does this case look very sharp and unisex, it also does not have that bulk that some people hate. If you've been thinking about rocking your LG V30 naked (which is a bad idea for any smartphone!), consider getting a good-looking case with minimal bulk like this one.

Spigen Tough Armor Google Pixel 2 Case with Kickstand and Extreme Heavy Duty Protection and Air Cushion Technology for Google Pixel 2 (2017) - Gunmetal: Courtesy of Amazon

Can somebody say, "LONG NAME ALERT!"? Yeah, 😅 cuz that's pretty long, but not usual by any means. Given a choice between the two 2017 Google Pixel phones, the Pixel XL 2 would of course be my choice. For some, however, they would choose the smaller sibling because they don't like large phones, or maybe the numerous screen issues from the Pixel XL 2 may have turned them off? Who knows. Different people will have different reasons for their choices. If you happen to have the regular-sized Google Pixel 2 and want a case that not only offers solid protection, but a kickstand as well, give this one a shot. Mind you though, these cases generally aren't intended to be super easy to come off, or that would ruin the purpose of the case. That's not to say that they're extraordinarily hard, but just a little thing to remember

Sennheiser HD 598 Special Edition Over-Ear Headphones - Black: Courtesy of Amazon

Did I position these images properly? 🤔 Looks a little off centered to me, but anyways! Yeah, the title says black, but you can also get these in that gorgeous ivory and brown version! 😛 Some will disagree with me on that, but that's ok because we have choices here. What do you use your headphones for mostly? Work? Music? Alternatives? While I personally do not own these headphones, they are touted as premium, audiophile-grade over-ear, open back headphones, with padded leather to make your listening sessions much more comfortable. So as such, they're certainly not cheap, but with looks like that, can you really resist?

Streamlight 88030 ProTac 1L 275 Lumen Professional Tactical Flashlight with High/Low/Strobe w/ 1 x CR123A Batteries: Courtesy of Amazon

I really liked my good ol' water-resistant Dorcy flashlight -- when it used to work immediately!  😣 Sometimes I can click it on, and it'll light up immediately. Other times, it just does not want to cooperate for the life of it. That's not to say all Dorcy flashlights are bad, because mine was getting old? If you're the type of person who expects a flashlight to do more than just emit an average light, then you'll want to look into flashlights like the Streamlight Pro I'll be discussing for this segment. You can see that it does not just boringly come in black, but also blue and even pink?! Ladies, you know that it's serious business when a professional-grade flashlight is trying to cater to variety of people here, so kudos to them for offering this colour variety. So! What are some of the pros with this thing? It weighs 57 grams, is water-resistant, has an anti-roll facecap, removable pocket clip and the ability to alternate between strobes.

Whether you're a librarian, doctor, engineer, visual artist, content producer, writer or musician, you'll likely have a lot of files, and need a lot of space to keep them. Let's face it: computers, as we all know, can sometimes die and without backups kept anywhere, it can be a really scary thing to lose all of your files. Thank God I've never had a computer totally crash and fail to boot up on me! 😓 But still, it's better safe than sorry. Back those files up! 😁 And don't just get any random portable storage drive around, get something solid and speedy like the Samsung T5 Portable SSD. Interestingly, at the time I write this (date above), this thing is actually #1 Best Seller in External Solid State Drives! So yes, that means that it's a go! Now if I must be honest here, 500GB is kind of on the small side for me, but maybe it isn't for you? Thankfully, it does come in a variant that goes up to 2TB, but just be aware of the fact that you'll be paying a Cadillac price tag to get that much storage, in combination with all the bells, whistles and speed this drive has to offer you.

SanDisk Ultra 128GB microSDXC UHS-I Card with Adapter, Black, Standard Packaging (SDSQUNC-128G-GN6MA): Courtesy of Amazon

Alright, so if you just so happen to be rocking the iPhone 8, Google Pixel 2, OnePlus 5, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 and certain others, then I got news for you: This segment is useless to you! 😁🎉🎊 Yaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy! 😭 Sorry for pouring alcohol into your open wounds, but I just had to poke some fun at you guys! Anyways, if you do happen to have a smartphone with a microSD card slot, then take advantage of November deals and treat them with a card that has tons of space. Important warning: If you're the type that likes to shoot a lot of 4K video, do not buy this card! It's good for full HD 1920 X 1080 videos, but for UHD 3840 X 2160, you'll need  something faster than this. That said, if you're only using it to store pictures, music, documents and videos that do not exceed 1920 X 1080, then you're good. 😎

Wrap Up
Well, that's been it for this sales/product recommendations post. Hope you were able to find something of interest to you. Till next time, I'll see you in another blog post later this week!
