November 23rd Entry: 4 Games Talk

GuuzakaTube                                                                                                   2017-11-23

November 23rd Entry: 4 Games Talk

Honestly didn't really know what to call this entry, so I thought I'd just go with what I put above. Hope it doesn't come off as misleading? Nah! It's about my four games I've recently recorded, so hopefully people won't think that this is supposed to be a juicy post on the latest games like Super Mario Odyssey, Sonic Forces or something. 😅

Not sure if it looks tackier to place the images below the subheadings, and then type the text below them? 🤔 Let me know what's better. So! As you can tell from the title and video itself, this recorded segment is about me just looking at the daily tasks to be done, maxing out the Lamborghini Veneno, and then decided between maxing out the Corvette or doing something else. I ultimate ended up just purchasing some cars required for getting stars from the older seasons, over dealings with the Chevrolet Corvette, La Ferrari and Sesto Elemento. Some may say that it was bad choice and that I probably should have maxed the Chevrolet Corvette. In all honesty, I think that I couldn't have gone wrong with either choice. I just wanted to try and get some of those earlier races completed while I had Double Credits activated. Ironically when time was running out, I actually jumped to seasons 7 and 8 to milk out the most profitable star bonus races. Now the parts about me racing obviously (if you've seen the video) weren't done on camera, but it was then that I realized that it really would have actually been a better idea to max a Class A car out after all... 😳😖 Heck, even a high-end Class B car like the Shelby GT500 or Lamborghini Gallardo would have been a good idea. Well, there's always another time.😏

So after running through the eerie, windy tracks from the last Mexican run, the crew has decided to head northeast to Washington District of Columbia! 🦅 Yeah, America's capital. The board special is not surprisingly an eagle for this track, and it seems to have an aerial theme judging from the presence of planes and other aircraft that can be seen on parts of the track. Oh yeah, and Lauren's 2nd outfit also backs this up. So what do I think of this track? If I must be very honest, I miss the Mariachi music and howling winds of that dumb Halloween track. I really do. It was such a special, unique touch that they've added, that I've never seen done on their tracks before. Ok, so there's probably other tracks that have bonus music mixed into the regular theme, but I've never heard or ran on them, so I can only comment based on what I've seen. But yeah, coming from that vibrant, festive track to this one with the regular music felt like a step down. Not to say that Washington D.C. sucks, because it does have its charms, but it's not as exciting. If the next tour takes place in a Christmas themed subway, it'll be interesting to see what they'll do to the music. Well, if they decide to do anything at all, that is.

Yes, this is one of those old, good, retro, pixelated shooting games. All you do is shoot the opposing aliens, spaceships and monsters to progress to the next level. Be careful not to let them shoot you though, because you apparently have no hit points! 😰 Yeah, so if you take just one hit or if they even touch you, the level restarts. 💀 So don't get #REKT wrecked! Wish this had QWERTY support so I could use the keys to move left and right and fire my lasers. Probably not something 99% of users would be concerned about, but if you have something like a Blackberry Classic, Passport or any other phone with a physical keyboard, you'll really appreciate that.🎮

So when was the last time that I uploaded a video of this game to channel? July 1st, 2016. 😲 When was this recent video uploaded? Today, the 23rd of November. Woooooo! So you can see that it's been a while. Sometimes, there are just some games that I think that I won't play and record again, only to find that I do just that: record and play. And yes, this does look just like a Koopa's shell, minus the holes. But is it really supposed to one? Likely so. This game is a simple, endless sliding platform game. Jump, dodge the enemies, collect coins and power-ups, and slide as far as you can. That's it. For this reason, some might consider this game to be very boring and slow paced, but I think it's alright. Just don't play it for too long. As I commented in the video, it would have been much better if the background would change after reaching a certain distance. Deserts, forests, snowy mountains, cityscapes and others would've been some great additions to this game.

Tomorrow's going to be that time of November again -- Black Friday! 🛒 Shops, both physical and online are going to be crazy busy! But please refrain from trampling, pushing, slapping and otherwise hurting others over materialistic goods. 😅 I know a good number of you aren't like that, but there's also a good number of you that are! 😬 And for the Internet shoppers, don't troll, abuse, or perform fraudulent tactics over goods. Now that aside, I hope you manage to successfully snag some good deals! On an Asphalt 8 front, it does not look like Gameloft will respond to my enquiry, so we'll just have to hope that they keep the updates coming for Windows Phone. I should probably get my game file synced to an online account real soon, to avoid those "accidental losses" that may happen as they claim. For the upcoming videos, it looks like this weekend will be much nicer, so I should finally be able to get back to some outdoor shoots! For games, I may record a race of Asphalt 8, but I cannot guarantee that this will happen. The commentary I planned to do will be pushed back to early December. You can also expect an unboxing video to accompany the outdoor videos being uploaded next week. Alright, now that's it and I am out!

August 21st Entry

GuuzakaTube                                                                                                   2017-08-21

August 21st Entry

This is entry is late. 😖 It should have been done by the 18th at latest, but here I am getting it done now, when I should by editing this weekend's videos. Joy. Rather than rambling on about that or go into the details, let's just dive right into this and discuss the 5 videos that were uploaded between August 16-20.

Should I just mention what it is at this point, or give it another day to let more people see the video? I mean, it currently has 6 views (LOL!🤣), but should I wait till after I post it to social media to let more people see it? Yeah, I think I will go with that. I seriously don't expect it to get to like 20 or something, but considering that the entry and social media postings for this video should have been done last week, it makes sense that I hold off until I do that. So what will I discuss for this segment? My experience and how it went with the vendor. I bought this device off of the famous eBay, when I saw the 32GB capacity listed at $168 CAD. I thought "Wow, that's a good price! I better hop on this before it disappears!" And surely I did, because the three items did disappear shortly. I obviously checked the seller's credentials before making the move, just to make sure that I wouldn't regret purchasing from a shoddy seller. They had a very high rating, and stated that they respond to questions quickly. So I decided to test the latter by asking them to confirm that this gadget is indeed 32GB, and free of digitizer problems. What do you know? They actually responded within 1 business day! 😃 All too often, you hear about eBay vendors who don't respond and leave their customers hanging, but these guys didn't. So I was told that it was indeed 32GB and was tested to guarantee functionality. Excellent! So I waited for it to come. I was still concerned about the quality of the used device and whether or not the capacity was really 32GB, as it's really rare to find this thing in 32GB, especially at a price like that. I ordered it on July 27, and it came August 11. Kind of long, considering that the shipping cost me $27.65. It was done through the Global Shipping Program which some Canadians have criticized in the past for being an expensive, circuitous way of shipping things to Canada. Expensive? Yes. Circuitous? I didn't find it overly circuitous in my opinion, but it would have been better for them to just send it directly to me with a faster more straightforward route. Or would that have resulted in import fees? Luckily, I didn't have to pay for that, so I'm thankful for that! Anyways, when it arrived, I was anxious and excited for it. I went ahead to clear a table to film myself unboxing the device. I wasn't pleased with how half of the video turned out, so I left that out after briefly showcasing the device, and made up for it with several quick photos in the video. After dealing with the video, I later went to look into the storage area and found out that it was not the 32GB variant that they listed, but was 16GB!😨 I then took the screenshot and sent the vendor a message asking them why this was so. Their response:

We are sorry for any inconvenience, Unfortunately one of our associates accidentally mixed one Nokia of 16GB with the 32GB lot, We had 3 units available for sale but one of the units was 16GB, please send it back for a Full refund, we will pay for return shipping cost.

Please, let us know if there is any other questions or if you need any assistance.

Ok, great to see that they responded quickly and were willing to give me a full refund, but all 3 were listed under 32GB, so how did they manage to mix 32 with 16? Considering that these phones were tested and have already been used before, they should have known what the internal capacities were. Or maybe it was just a genuine mistake? Who knows for sure. They were responsive and willing to refund, so I do not consider them to be a bad vendor. Even though the device had the wrong capacity, it was in really good condition and did not suffer from the touch issues that many have complained about. This means that it was truly well taken care of for a used device, and was tested well. So because of that, I asked them if I had the option to keep the phone and be refunded half of my money since the device only had half the capacity. They responded shortly saying that they could only refund $20 USD. I then had to decide if I wanted to go with that, or send it back altogether for a full refund. I suspect that many would have just sent it back altogether at this point, but for some reason, I just decided to take the partial compensation. I guess it's boils down to the fact that everything else about the device was fine, so I didn't want to bother with the circuitous return process unless I really had to. Oh, and then there's the fact that they had no more 32GB devices of the same kind to exchange for. Therefore, if I decided to return it and get my full $198 CAD back, I wouldn't have been able to find another 32GB device of its kind at that price, unless I wanted to shell out anywhere between $300 - $500! 😱 For a 4-year-old device, a price like that is not worth it! For most, seeing 16GB instead of the 32GB would be an absolute turnoff, and make them want to return and get their money back immediately, regardless of how well the device otherwise turned out to be. So tell me now: What would you have done in this particular situation?

Think you know a lot? Think you know a little? The link to this quiz can be found in the video description, and hopefully you won't suffer from the same problem I had with one of the questions throwing me back to the beginning! It may have just been a mobile browsing issue, but I haven't tested it on my desktop to confirm that. Don't let this discourage you, but just saying this as a potential warning. How well did I do? Fairly well for the most part, but with this being multiple choice as opposed to fill-in-the-blanks, how much you truly know can't be executed. What do I mean? Somebody can guess the whole quiz and get everything right, when they didn't actually know a darn thing. It's the same issue a professor of mine argued back when I was in high school. He said that multiple choice is just guessing, and doesn't truly show how much you know, unless you genuinely knew the answer. Pure truth. I'm not saying that we should go ahead and abolish multiple choice on everything, but just saying: it's either you know your stuff for real or you don't. There's only so much paper or online tests can do to measure your knowledge. Applying what you know in the real world is where others will see your intelligence.📚

Alright, so what was it that really drove me to make a commentary video about this? I'll tell you: it was a conversation I had with my father about Jamaica. That's what it was. And of course, one of the things that I couldn't help, but mention is the crime rate down there. I later decided to Google "Jamaican Crime Rate" or something along the lines of that. Next thing you know, I see a recent article from the famous Jamaica Gleaner discussing this very thing. "How interesting and coincidental I thought" I took a look at it, found it very interesting, and decided that I had to do a commentary on this matter. You see, Jamaica isn't a horrible place to live or visit, but it does have some nagging issues that need to resolved if it wishes to become on par with places like say Canada. May sound like a bit of a stretch, but it can happen if the bad Jamaicans would just lay off the violence and bad-mindedness, and when the government starts to do more to noticeably improve country. Of course, there's more to this complex situation, but those are two things that I'm sure any Jamaican person would agree with, right? 🏝

What's this? Another game with a pink cube? Yes, yes it is. This time it's Cubix! The game involves a pink cube sliding through four levels, while you must avoid hitting certain shapes or falling, till you make it to the end. The music is loud, and the game is flashy. In fact, the game even warns people that suffer from photosensitive epilepsy to refrain from playing it. Nice. Not something you see too often. What I don't like about this game is how you have to pay for pack #2 for more levels. That would have been fine if only pack #3 and #4 were there too, but they aren't, and I feel as though they will never come because the developer, like many others, probably left the BlackBerry 10 platform a thousand years ago. 😒 It's fine to have a level that lets people test the game, but don't ask them to pay for an incomplete game. Not worth it, if you ask me. Still, you can enjoy the 1st pack with its four levels, but just don't be dumb or desperate enough to buy pack #2, until this developer can confirm whether or not they have intentions to release #3 and #4.

Yes, I've played another Flappy spin-off. Not just any random spin-off, but one involving the ever so adorable (or annoying?) Nyan Cat! Yes you can argue that there's too many cat memes on the Internet, and that me playing this game only adds to the problem, but so what? There's a reason why cats are so popular, and that's because they're so commonly kept and their facial expressions for an animal creates so much amusement to us humans. I guess you can say the same for dogs, which also have their fair bit of Internet presence. This Flappy variant is a very colourful, vibrant game that allows you to play as the namesake Nyan Cat or his arch nemesis, Tac Nyan. Wait, is the Nyan Cat supposed to be a boy or girl? I never looked into it, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯!  The version I played was 1.0.0.9 and the reason I'm mentioning this is because I made speculations about the newer versions probably having more features. I've never actually looked into that, so I can't confirm that, unless I watch videos of the alleged newer updates or look it up in Google Play. So aside from playing as memetic Internet cats, what else makes this game so good? The backgrounds! Check them about below. These are screenshots from my session with this game.

So because this entry is late, much of my focus for this week will be revolved around getting back on track. Not just for YouTube and Blogger, but for other things as well. Once I'm finished dealing with last week's work, you'll see three outdoor videos this week. No games or commentaries unfortunately(?), but you might see those categories next week, as well as some unboxing videos once some goods arrive. Now this is where things are going to get rather random, but do you like tea? 🍵 Not something I usually drink unless I'm under the weather, but I've been drinking it lately. Particularly, Celestial Organics Ginger & Turmeric Herbal Tea and Traditional Medicinals Organic Nettle Leaf Tea. The ginger and turmeric tea has a very powerful, rich, kind of spicy, earthy taste thanks to the fusion of the ginger, cinnamon and turmeric going on there. It doesn't taste bad, so you don't have to sweeten it with honey, unless you want to or can't stand the potency of these ingredients. I was kind of concerned about trying the nettle tea, thanks to all the reviews and warnings saying that it might taste like grass clippings, but guess what? It doesn't. However, that's not to say that it tastes great, but what I'm saying is that sometimes you really have to try something for yourself to know what it tastes like, rather than trusting the tongues of others. To me, nettle tastes like mint without the mintyness if that makes sense. In other words, it tastes like leaf. Not bitter leaf, but an herbal sort of leaf. "So will I like it or what?" You might ask. The answer? I don't know. If you're used to nicer flavours like mint, ginger, raspberry or vanilla or something, then no. You're going to end up sweetening it. Anyways, let's get this post up and get going!

August 4th Entry

GuuzakaTube                                                                                                          2017-08-04

August 4th Entry

Can't believe these videos uploaded so fast! I was thinking that they'd take into the early afternoon to be finished, but nope! They were done in under 2 hours. Excellent! This allows me to hyperlink them as soon as I talk about them. It's been a very hot week for us in Southern Ontario and other areas as well. And for many of us, also very busy too. Now let's discuss these 5 recent uploads and what I plan to do next! 📝🎶

When it came onto selecting a category for this special 200th video, I was indecisive between entertainment, music and comedy. I initially thought about doing music, but then I thought that it didn't have enough music to justify that, so I thought about entertainment. Surely, the title and purpose of the video is indeed to entertain, but then I thought about it: the video does not show me playing, listening and reacting to my own playing and what not. Because of that, it did not feel like a true, quality video of enteraintment. Therefore, I decided to go with comedy! Why not? The video is revolved around a hilarious meme of someone badly playing My Heart Will Go On, so I thought that it would be great. I then felt that it wasn't truly funny enough, so I just finally resorted to classify it under music, since that is the fundamental theme of the video: playing My Heart Will Go On. Quite a roller coaster that was! So now that I'm finished discussing some uninteresting things, let's discuss some more interesting things like why the recorder? Of all the instruments that it could've been done with, why was the recorder used? Particularly the soprano recorder? This is usually an instrument that is very well hated by people because they view them as cheap, illegitimate, annoying children's toys. And then there's fact that they're also so high pitched and played badly by them. Well, that might actually be the answer right there: because the instrument is seen as a joke itself, even though it clearly isn't it. Believe it or not, the recorder is no more or less of a real instrument than what a saxophone, clarinet, transverse flute and viola is. The reason why they're associated with children is because they're small enough to make it them easy to hold, affordable for schools to buy cheaply in bulk, and easy to get started on. Obviously, these are super cheap, plastic, Chinese soprano models, but if you take a look at the other voices of the family made with high quality wood and ABS materials, you'll quickly see that these are not actually for the faint of heart. Anyways! That's enough rambling about how legitimate recorders are, so let's get back to the Titanic. So yeah, due to the nature of the instrument and how easy it is to play badly, we can assume that a novice may have been trying to play the song, but had a hard time with intonation. Thus, the Internet loved it for some reason and now it's a meme. Not exactly the freshest or most lively meme, but you'll see it now and then. Another theory is that it could have been a professional doing this on purpose. Who knows for sure. I never looked into it, but maybe you have and know the full story behind it. If you've never heard this song on a tenor recorder, you'll definitely want to give my video a listen or maybe even try it on yours! Alto recorderists are out of luck, since the lowest note they can produce is a sad F4. Ouch. No disrespect intended, as the alto recorder has much more repertoire than the tenor recorder, but still. Glad I don't play an alto recorder. Truth is, the only recorder I play at the moment is the tenor, but would love to get a great bass recorder (the one that does down to C3) in the future.

Still really annoyed about how I lost the walking segment of this video! Why in the universe did the video come out corrupted? Only God knows... all I can say is that I'm super glad that I decided to make the actual walk around of the school a separate segment. Had I not do that, I could've lost the entire video! 😱 While I've documented endless quirks and tick-offs with my BlackBerry's camera in entries of the past, this is one problem that I've never seen before. Why didn't the video save, or give me some sort of warning that it wasn't going to save like normal? Well, it did save, but the file refused to be transferred to my computer with the constant "you require permission from unix root user to make changes to this file!" What the actual hell?! 😡 Again, an issue I've never had while trying to transfer videos! I would have liked to transfer this to my folder where I keep dead videos that I hopefully plan to resurrect in the future, but nope! I eventual gave up and just deleted the stupid, stubborn, iron-headed file. Gosh, so annoyed that I had to waste time bothering with it, only to end up deleting it. Anyways, that's enough ranting over a dumb walking segment that I would've just told people to skip anyway, so let's answer the following question: how did I find College Hill Public School? Walking around it was an ok experience, save for the part where I had to jump the fence. The building is nothing special to look at, but I do like their gardens and pine tree rows.🌼🌲

You play as Sonic, jump, destroy enemies, grab goods and boosters, and try to make it to the top where a parachute awaits you. You can also flick up some animals near this area, but being oblivious dumdum I was while playing this, I didn't take note of that until I started editing the video. Go figure. 😓 I did manage to make enough progress to unlock Miles, but not a ton else. Still, this a vibrant, fast-paced, fun game to play. I'd of course recommend playing it on an Android device to get fullest experience and features of it. Oh, it'll also work on your iPhone 7 and older models too. Don't think it's available for Windows Mobile though. But will that really make HP Elite X3 and Lumia 950 owners sad? Probably? Probably not...

Boy oh boy! ScreenCorder sure gave me hell with recording this game! I don't know if it's because the phone was just having performance problems, or if it was because it absolutely hated metal music! I mean, I hate metal too, but the game itself is good so why the difficulty? It took three attempts to get a proper 10 minute+ segment recorded, which was really annoying, but at least it worked on the third attempt. Fun fact: that 3-minute segment with the brown-haired topless character is actually the first 3 minutes and forty-five seconds of the 2nd attempt that managed to be saved. I was originally going to use it first and have the 3rd segment follow after, but decided against to avoid having people listen to the same commentary twice. If you like simple pixel games that involve attacking things, you'll like this one. Here, you attack what looks like penguins to clear them off of the screen. If you're lucky, you'll see a flaming sign of the horns hand that you can tap to annihilate rows of them present on the screen. I just referred to this as the "rocker hand" since I had no idea what it really was until I researched it before typing that sentence! 😅 Shows you how much I know about metal gestures: almost nothing.
Sign of the Horns in action.

More accurately, Flappy Macaw, since those are the only types of parrots you can play as in this game. Does that make it a bad game? Well, only if you really hate macaws, but most people that love parrots, or even birds in general, don't hate them. So what's so special about this particular Flappy spin-off? Not a ton. You can play as four macaws: a green winged macaw/scarlet macaw, military macaw, blue and gold macaw, and a hilarious, fictitious purple macaw that I shunned!😂🤣 What's nice about this game is the customization options. You can adjust brightness, the presence of shadows and even buy things to customize your bird and what not. So this is actually pretty good for a Flappy game. A lot of them don't have any of these features, such as Twerky Turkey I played not too long ago. These features coupled with the good graphics, make this a spin-off that's worthy to play. And yes, I cannot end this segment without mentioning about corpses ---------- they pile up! 😨🤣 That's right. If you play too badly without restarting, you'll be reminded of this with all the dead macaws between the bricks or pipes! Some people might find this morbid, but I found it freakin' hilarious! OH MY GOSH MAN! LOL! I didn't really express it that much on camera, but you can tell from the way I treated the birds after I got bored.

Aw, man! What a hot, busy week it's been. Well, the heat is good. Coming September it won't be as warm, so you should enjoy the warm weather while you can. Unfortunately for me, I don't know why my respiratory tract has been feeling sore and weird for much of the week, but thankfully it's doing a lot better today. Really glad that I've been able to create a variety of videos this week, with three being games, one from the outdoors and one being a blend of commentating and musical performance. As for what I plan to for this Friday, I don't have anything exciting planned for today, but I sure am excited for what should be coming next week! 🌠 What exactly could it be?! Well, you'll just have stay tuned to find out! For now, let's get this entry proofread and carry on with other daily things.

March 21-22 2017 Uploads

March 21-22 2017 Uploads

Wow, wow, wow, WOW! Do you know how many videos I've recorded for this week's batch? 10. That's right. 10! That's a new record from the last time I've uploaded so many videos! When was that? Remember the entry for the 2016 Boxing Day Uploads? Yeah, that was 9 videos and now here I have 10. So if it wasn't obvious enough from the gaming commentaries I made on the videos, the reason behind this massive upload is the fact that 8 out of 10 of these videos are gaming videos. Yep, I've been saying for several entries now, that gaming videos aren't priorities for me. Why? Because I wanted to focus more on the outdoor videos and commentaries. But then suddenly, last Sunday, I've decided to play and record at least one segment of the most space-consuming games on my phone to make space for the BlackBerry 10.3.3.1463 update, before I delete them. For that reason, it probably would've been more accurate to title this entry The Great Sunday Gaming Marathon rather than the current “March 21-22 2017 Uploads”. Well, I would've done just that if it weren't for the two outdoors videos that I filmed earlier. Speaking of those, I'm satisfied and glad I was able to film those locations, so let's dive in now and discuss this lengthy list of everything uploaded between the dates stated in the title!

Ah, Sinclair! Why hast thou been so problematic to film?! 1St time, endless reboots. 2Nd time, too awkward due to the excessive crowds and outings. 3Rd time, well, there were some outings, but I didn't let that stop me because I was tired of coming up to this place and having something “stop me” from filming. Well, truth be told, nobody acted up or anything, but as explained on camera, discretion is a very important thing to exercise while filming areas with lots of people, especially when you consider that this area was a disctrict board, high school and daycare facility in one. Kind of crazy when you think about that, but that's what also made it such an interesting, satisfying place to film. “GuuzakaTube, you sound so queer about this” some of you might say, “People make videos in even busier environments than what you've been in, and they nor they people around them don't really care as long as you use common sense” True. Can't argue with that fact. Whatever. Now that all this awkward talk is out of the way, let's actually discuss this building itself. Now as you can imagine, with it housing three institutions under one roof, it must be stupidly huge right? Well, it's big alright, but not mighty huge. It was snowing that day, which contributed to the natural cinematic effect you see in the video. Whether you consider that a plus or not, I personally found it a little annoying, but was just glad that it wasn't wet snow. Unsatisfying Sinclair Video. Ha! Now I finally have a normal, proper video of this school. You want to know what else is close to this area that I've originally wanted to film on the day I first attempted to film this school? Hebron Christian Reformed Church. That's right. I kept quiet about the exact name of this place, but no longer! Read below if you're interested in hearing what I have to say about it, or you can skip to one of the games that interest you the most, if you could care less about Hebron.

Did that title make you LOL? I'm sure it did! So as I mentioned above, the same day I first attempted to get Sinclair, was also supposed to be the same day where I was going to film Hebron next, but because the church was open, with people coming in and out and what not, it would have been way too creepy and awkward to go around filming and photographing the building at that time. If you don't know me by now, I prefer to film buildings while the coast is clear, or at least mostly clear of people to avoid misunderstandings. I know, I know. As mentioned above, most people don't care if you're filming casually, but when it comes to scenarios or places like this, it would come off as seriously creepy to film while the place is open, so I'd rather not do that – Anyways! That's enough with the awkward, repetitive ramblings about this, and I shall not mention any more of it for the duration of this write up! This place is located northeast of the Sinclair area, in a lot of its own off Anderson Street, unlike Sinclair which is more correctly located off Taunton between Garden and Anderson. Even though it was cold and snowy, Hebron church was a wonderful place to wander around, film and photograph. And so were the fields! Even better, geese were there to provide even more entertainment! So you're likely wandering why I decided to do an extra segment where I explore the fields and bother some geese, right? Well, the answer was mentioned in the video: I did not quite feel like putting down the camera after filming and photographing the church, so I decided to wander into the nearby fields and mess around there. Turned out to be more fun than I thought, though probably boring to some people, so I decided to be a nice guy and separate the segments through the use of visual slides for those that would only be interested in seeing one part or the other. I encourage you to watch both of course! Now about that question: what do the geese eat when it's so cold outside, and why did they return from their Mexican vacation at the wrong time? LOL! Kind of makes me wonder if they were confused about the stubbornly cold weather or if they even left at all!

Yeah, quite a strange title, isn't it? Well, this is the 1st game I recorded for the Great Sunday Marathon. It is about Mr.Khan, a Pakistani trying to run to Islamabad to accomplish his vision, goals, plans and what not, but the only thing stopping him are the so-called evil containers and trucks. You must help him to dodge them or fire rockets at them. Yeah, make of that as you will, but if you ask me, that does sound questionable. Now despite the game being called container run, I decided to demo level 2 so I could unlock level three, but considering that I was going to delete the game soon anyway and didn't even end up playing level 3, it would have made a lot more sense to demonstrate level 1. That way, you'd be able to see the namesake containers the game is named after. Another thing: make sure you have around 120-150MB of space on your smartphone and a reasonable strong or efficient operating system, or the 3D graphics and frame rates will take a toll on your smartphone. Oh, and the battery life! Watch your battery while you play this energy-guzzling game! It's fairly fun and all, but do be mindful of these things. And finally, I cannot conclude this entry without mentioning the music! I like it! It's so funky and cool! 73% out of 100%.

This game is about as interesting as watching your cat sleep. Ok, ok! So maybe this game is a little better than that, but unfortunately, all you do is catch cats. The heavier your load gets, the slower you move. That right there is the problem: the girl, Unitychan, becomes way too damn slow after the load accumulates to the point that it feels like you're moving slower than a snail. What would make this game more interesting? More space, different cats worth various amounts of points, and levels with different backgrounds maybe. Well, truth be told, I don't usually play games like this, so this game is obviously not targeted to people like me, but it was on my phone, happened to take up a lot of space, so I wanted to record at least one segment before clearing it. So what do I like about this game? The clean, bright graphics, and though cats aren't my favourite animals, I do like them quite a bit, hence why I'd even bother with this game in the 1st place. 40% out of 100%.

I know, I know. Yet another “girly” game. But you know what? It was very interesting, save for my absentminded foolishness that took place in level 2! Gosh that was embarrassing! It was so bad, that I had to put an advisory in the beginning telling people to just skip that part, and spare themselves the misery and time loss. Now I know what you're thinking, “Why couldn't you just edit that out? You took the time to make other edits, so why not just clip that out?” Because I didn't feel like it. There, I said it. Not a good answer, but it's the real answer for that question. This game has very smooth, beautiful graphics and gameplay. Loved that! Unfortunately, it did happen to be my first time playing a slingshot game on a smartphone, so I wasn't too familiar with how to work it, but did figure it out after many facepalms worthy moments. To be honest, it's my first time actually playing a Rovio game to begin with, so that may lead to you wander why I chose this one as my first Angry Birds game instead of the namesake title? The answer: I don't know. Actually wait, I think I do. When I was searching for Angry Birds titles, I wanted to try something other than the namesake title of the series. This one ended up being my first, because I guess I've never heard of Stella at the time, so I must have been like “Huh, this is interesting. Let's see what this angry bird is about” so then I downloaded it. It sat on my phone for a long time. Possibly a year or two, before I decided to give it a go before deleting it along with some of my other heavy games recorded during the Great Sunday Gaming Marathon. I like this game a lot, but found it tough at first. 75% out of 100%.

Remember “Temple Run - Slipping like a total klutz!”? Yeah, not so much this time! I mean, I do slip sometimes, but nowhere near as much as I did the first time! I've improved and even made new high scores as proof of my achievements! If you haven't watched the video yet, then you will see that this is true. So this video makes it my 2nd gameplay video of this game, and also the final. Don't be sad! I might try Temple Run 2 in the future, so that should be a little more positive for those that care. As explained in my entry from long ago, this game is one of most popular endless runners in existence, though I'm not sure which is more popular: Temple Run or Subway Surfers? I'm under the impression that Subway Surfers might be the more popular of the two, though I could be dead wrong. 77% out of 100%.

When you saw those application permissions pop up upon opening the game, that was a sure sign that I haven't even loaded the game before. Nope, not even to check it's animation boot or anything! That's how fresh this experience was. Unfortunately, as you'll know from watching the video, my largely failed screen recordings sabotaged the recording experience, which was very frustrating. I mean, I got to enjoy the game and all, but many moments were lost thanks to the screen recorder's spiteful moments during my time with this game. A similar issue occurred with Three Jumps, but I'll discuss that when its time comes. Recording business aside, how did I find this game? Quite alright, but I have to be frank: it feels like a lesser version of Asphalt 8, and the word “Asphalt” in the title makes it obvious that it was inspired from it. That's not to say it's a bad game by any means, but if you're spoiled from Asphalt 8's bells, whistles, graphics and sheer amount of cars, then you may not like this one very much. Actually, you still might like it if you enjoy racing games, and want to try something similar, but different enough to let you know that it's not a blatant knockoff. There's lots to see, do and discover in this title, but the lost recording segments just had to ruin the mood. Still, this game remains pretty darn good sooooooo ------ 79% out of 100%.

For real though: how could I suck so badly when the difficulty was supposed to be normal?! Do you have any idea how bad that is?! Goodness! This Funkoi game is really hard! Oh, speaking of that, I believe this is my 3rd Funkoi title I've recorded on the channel. I've done two gameplay videos of Tunnel X and one of Kiwi Wonder. Speaking of Kiwi Wonder, I should do another episode with it at some point in the future, now that I have a better microphone. That way we can enjoy its beautiful soundtrack to the fullest! Anyway, Alpha Zero. This game is a shooting, outer space game. Sounds a little cliché, eh? Well, yeah. You're in outer space and you must stop an evil group of spaceships and go on various missions. Yep, cliché indeed, but it's still a well designed game. It's just too bad I couldn't stand a chance against the Varcons, even on the easiest setting. I couldn't even get the 0% on the progression bar to move during the 18 minute session. “Damn, son! You gotta try harder next time!” Is probably what most people would say, and yeah, they're right. Oh well. Was gonna say better luck next time, except that y'all should know by now what's going to happen to all (except EVAC) of the games that I played during this Great Sunday Gaming Marathon. 73% out of 100%.

Yes, three frustrating attempts = around 20 minutes of wasted time! So in other words, I had to spend around 35 minutes to get this game recorded right! Probably should have just restarted my phone sooner to get it working. Shouldn't have to do that in the first place, but if it means better screen recording performance, then it would have been worth it. Anyways! So as the name suggests, Three Jumps is a platform game with black figures that can only make three consecutive jumps before you're out of jumps. Don't run or jump into anything that isn't “safe”. So jump and collect coins that can be used to unlock more characters, and avoid hazards. That's it. No levels or anything deep, advanced or complicated. It's pretty straightforward and functions as a simple time killer it seems. Kind of wish it had QWERTY support, but oh well. 68% out of 100%

Man oh man, this game was good! Really good! Smooth gameplay, wonderful graphics, arcade, retro, thoughtfully designed – Ah! It was just awesome! Since the game is about a pink cube that must grab all the coloured dots and escape without being caught, I'm wondering if “EVAC” is short for “Evacuate”? Who knows. All I know is that I had a lot of fun with this colourful game, hence why the video is nearly 30 minutes long. Now mind you, because there are some serious cheapskates out there, this game does cost you $1.99 in the BlackBerry App World. Trust me: it's worth the money. If you like ad-free, quality games, then it comes with a price. Developers do deserve some pay for their hard work, and if you don't want a “Freemium” or ad-supported game, then you must be willing to cough up a tiny price. Now what's interesting is that it looks like it's “FREE” on Google Play, but according to those that played it, you have to pay after you reach a certain level. Ha, interesting. Some people also say that it's similar to Pac-Man, and yes, I agree. It has a similar feel to it, since you do go around a maze collecting things, but with more flexibility. Another thing to note is that this game happens to have QWERTY/Physical Keyboard support, which is great news for those of you with a BlackBerry Q5, Q10, Classic, Porsche 9,883 or Passport. That on-screen controller was a tedious pain to use on my BlackBerry Q10, so I was so happy to quickly discover that I didn't have to use it. Yes! Hexage, you've made a stellar game! 91% out of 100%.

Congratulations if you've made it this far and actually read all of the entries! Kudos to you! Claim your prize, the iPhone 7 Plus (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition with 256GB by saying “finished!” out loud. Kidding. You didn't actually fall for that, did you? My oh my! You desperate loser! Alright, enough false promising and time to get on with the point. You're probably quite anxious about what I'm about to come clean about, right? Well, worry not. It's nothing big or scary. It's just the real reason why I truly haven't bothered to make much gaming videos lately: it's because I wasn't sure whether I could monetize them or not. There, I said it. I've finally come ultra clean, open and honest about it. You see, back in 2016 I wasn't a YouTube partner. That year, I was more focused on building up the channel's content and perfecting my art, which still is faaaaaaarrrrrrrrr from perfect, but way better than back then! There were many videos done just for fun, without caring about whether I'd monetize them or not, hence why some even have copyrighted music on them. Of course, there were also many that were intended to monetized as well: the outdoor videos and commentaries! Shortly after 2017 started, I decided to become a YouTube partner so I could get a little money off of this YouTube side job. Success! The application went well and it didn't take long to get my account approved and linked, since it was in excellent standing. But then, I realized that I had to start focusing more so on “safe” videos, that I know for 100% certainty won't be an issue to monetize. By that I mean no legal issues, copyright, etc., you get the idea. Gaming videos became rare until up to this point, where I decided that I would do a “Great Marathon” one day where I'd clear the most spacious games on my phone. The Sunday that fell on March 19, happened to be a great day, so I got it done then. While it was very fun to spend that weekend day playing so many games, I thought “Gee, this is going to be a ton of work when editing, uploading and writing about it. I'd really like to get something more out of this” So what happened next? What did I do? You can probably already guess, but when the videos were finished uploading I finally decided to take another look at what the stance is on monetizing mobile games for smartphones. Other games from companies like Nintendo, Microsoft and what not, are crystal clear on their policies, but when I attempted to research mobile gaming in the past, I never found a clear direct answer. Yesterday, I took another look at it and here's what I have summarize: Your best bet is to always check the game developer's website if you're uncertain. Most mobile game developers, don't actually seem to mind people monetizing their gameplays. However, you must not claim the game as yours, don’t sell or license the content you create to third parties, do not copy or take any assets from their content and distribute them separately (like characters, voices, music, images), do not include obscene, offensive, racist, defamatory, pornographic, homophobic and hateful material in your video, and you must respect the privacy of others. So! Sounds kind of like common sense, but not everyone would necessarily know some of this or be aware of certain things. That said, you still have to be careful because some games like say Asphalt 8 for instance, may have copyrighted music in it. Be VERY careful about things like that, because it can sometimes be easy to forget things like this and then BOOM! A strike! Be weary of copyrighted material that could be present in games you're interested in putting YouTube ads on. Music can easily be muted if that's present. Again, if you're not sure, check the game developers website. That is the safest way to determine what you should do, if you're in doubt. Now with all this said, I have went ahead and monetized those games above. So far, so good. I'll keep an eye out for them and see how it ultimately goes. Now I don't mean to sound as though I only do YouTube strictly for money, but you know what? I am a YouTube partner and it can be rather time consuming sometimes, so for that reason, it's important to get a profit out of my labour, even if it's small. It just makes it more worth a while to make videos when you get some money off of them. So for what's next, I'll likely have an outdoors video for next week, like usual. I was going to do a commentary pertaining to automotive, but all the editing and typing I had to this week prohibited it. As for gaming, more videos may come in the future if it plays out well. I'm quite positive that it will. It would be nice to keep my niche of outdoor things, commentaries and games, because after all, I am GuuzakaTube, and even while my videos were branded under ATA1201058, it was something I used to do, and would like to continue to do for the foreseeable future.
