February Absence

Quick, late night post to address the elephant in the room: my absence for the entire February 2026. ๐Ÿ˜ถ Yeah, that was awkward. ๐Ÿ˜ณ Even more awkward when I see that the subscriber count has climbed to 469, getting real close to 500. This shows that people have clearly not given up on my brands, and I am grateful for that. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ Which is exactly why I do these kinds of posts to let both casual viewers and fans know what is going on. ๐Ÿ‘€ Had I been more consistent over the few years, that could have easily been 5000 minimum, and even beyond! Realistically, maybe 15,000 maximum at this point.  By absence, I am not talking about the uploads, which is a whole other topic on its own, but the fact that I simply did not sign in till now. ๐Ÿ˜ถ I think. Maybe once way earlier, but I cannot recall. ๐Ÿ˜ฑ Well, that is all for now with this quick, vague update. Let us March forward into March! ๐ŸŒ

About that. Canada, please permanently abolish Daylight Savings Time and keep the time on Standard Time all year long. Can I hear all the people say amen? ๐Ÿ˜ถ

No Chocolate This Month

No Chocolate?!

So last month, January 2025, I uploaded a short post celebrating 15 Years of the Guuzaka brand. ๐ŸŽ‚ This also simultaneously marks 5 Years of Atazaka, since the 2 brands were created on the very same day. ๐Ÿ“ Now to get straight to the meaning of this month's title: No Chocolate This Month. ๐Ÿšซ๐Ÿซ Just what could that possible mean?! Did I literally not get to eat any chocolate? True, I did not get hands -- mouth on any nice chocolate this month. That would be the super literal definition of this title, but what if I told you that there is another meaning to this? ๐Ÿ˜ฒ Yes, keep reading.

Hardly A Surprise

Chances are when you come to look at content from my brands, it is almost certainly YouTube. ๐Ÿ‘€ Maybe Instagram. My Blogger statistics tell me that there are some readers, albeit significantly less than in comparison to YouTube. So you will very will know that there has be no new content uploads for February 2025. ๐Ÿฅฑ I know. How boring and depressing of me to not upload anything. ๐Ÿ˜ด Will this finally change for March 2025? Will I Spring forward for Spring and Spring out some interesting things? ๐ŸŒผ Let me tell the truth: there is a 50% chance I will, a 50% chance I will not. ๐Ÿ˜ I would say more, but for now, I will end this entry here and bring more information in March 2025.

Maybe I will taste some chocolate by then? ๐Ÿค” Even if it is not heart-shaped and full of toxic preservatives? ๐Ÿ˜ Not that I eat those kind of chocolates to begin with, but I felt a random urge to poke fun at how loaded the ingredients are in a lot of sweets are on the shelf. So much so, that I came across an article sometime this month about the United Kingdom pulling a whole bunch of candies from the United States off the shelves because the contained various poisons. ☠ Wow. North America ought to get on board with the rest of the world and ban problematic ingredients. Maybe then people will stop complaining about how much worse North American food tastes in comparison to that of the old world continents. ๐Ÿ˜ณ

February 23rd Entry: What Happened?

Let's jump straight to it: what happened to the entry for the December 2019 and January 2020 videos? It is almost March. Well, I have decided that I do not think I will be doing "heavy duty" blog posts for YouTube videos anymore. ๐Ÿ˜ฐ Am I quitting blogging? ๐Ÿ˜จAbsolutely not! ๐Ÿ˜Ž It is just that I would rather focus on the YouTube side of Google rather than the Blogger side. If you still have not seen the videos yet, click blow accordingly.

December 2019
January 2020
Going Forward
If you still have not familiarized yourself with the whole Atazaka-Guuzaka thing, now would be a good time to do so. Going forward, certain uploads of certain things will become less common, perhaps even non-existent on Guuzaka. Likewise, certain things may become more prominent. Do not see this as a change for the worse. If anything, it is a change for the better. You will see as time goes on. ⌚

Valentine's Day 2020

Can I tell you something you should already know? ๐Ÿ’š You do not need to wait until one commercialized day of the year to be romantic. ๐Ÿ’š Seriously, you do not. ๐Ÿ’š You can have a special night, dinner, get together, and so forth on other days as well. ๐Ÿ’š That said, there is certainly no harm in wanting to something romantic or special on Valentine's Day. ๐Ÿ’š Just do not make it the only day of the year where you care about your significant other. ๐Ÿ’š Even if you do not have a significant other, remember that you can still play games with friends or family members. Now by "games" I am not literally talking board games or video games per se. By "games" I am talking about activities you enjoy with other people. Or maybe just yourself? ๐Ÿบ Hey, some people would rather just enjoy the day to themselves. Nothing wrong with that either. Just do not be that person that is valuing their self-worth based on their relationship status. There is way more to life than being in a relationship. Be positive. Be good. Happy 2020 Valentine's Day. ๐Ÿ’š

February 24th Entry: The Five

GuuzakaTube                                                                                                  2019-02-24

February 24th Entry: The Five

๐Ÿ”ตThis blog post may contain affiliate links

Welcome to the second blog post of 2019! ๐Ÿฅฎ Not only is it interesting that there happens to be five videos I'm about to discuss here, but that we're also hearing a lot about 5G. The Samsung Galaxy S10 5G, LG V40 5G, and several others.

Before I proceed to discussing the videos, let me say something in regards to these "foldable phones": I think the foldable phones look incredibly tacky and stupid. ๐Ÿ˜’ There, I said it. They cost way too much for such half-baked, ugly, unnecessary technology. You see, if they would just make them like a Nintendo 3DS XL, with two separate screens that can be folded completely in half, that would have beem soooo much better! But no, they insist on going with something that can be one flat screen at one moment, and then fold completely like a book or Nintendo 3DS XL in another moment. ๐Ÿคจ Good luck with that...๐Ÿฅด These companies would be FAR better of spending the money on software support! Just because you have millions to waste, that does not mean that you should. Alright, now to the latest videos! ๐ŸŒ

I have only managed to get one out of three Road Kings. ๐Ÿ˜’ Truth is, if I did not waste my tokens on that 2019 Lunar Year pack, the Mercedez-Benz pack, and then another 150 on single purchases, I would have been able to snag both the Apollo N and the Vencer Sarthe! ๐Ÿค‘๐Ÿคฉ Too bad I did not think about that in advance. Thankfully, I can take my stupidity from then, to learn about how to spend my tokens in the future. This means that I now know better not to waste it on those "Buy 5 for 375 packs" nor should I ever "Buy 1 for 75".

For the next 7 days, I will have the choice between the Lamborghini Aventador SV Coupe or Multi-Featuring pack. Within the Multi-featuring pack, there is the chance to get 15 blueprints for the following: McLaren P1, Ferrari LaFerrari, Dodge Viper GTS, Aston Martin Vulcan, Nissan GT-R Nismo, or 3 of them, or 3-6 of other more common cards. I have no idea how good the odds are, but I believe that the odds for getting 15 of just one of those cars, yet alone multiples, is probably very slim. ๐Ÿ˜ I hope I'm wrong.

*Stops blogging for a moment to watch some YouTube videos of people opening Asphalt 9 packs*

Ok, I guess it's better to focus on car-specific packs, because both have horrible odds! Hold on, let me use a stronger word: ABYSMAL! ๐Ÿ‘น๐Ÿ’€☠๐Ÿ‘น Therefore, you might as well focus on a pack that is guaranteed to give you a specific car's blueprints, than to try your luck with a fruitcake pack. ๐Ÿ˜ต One more thing I'd like to mention: this video is the first on my channel to cross the 60 minute mark. ๐Ÿงจ✨๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŒ ๐Ÿฅณ

For some people, that would be considered a horrible thing, because you know, short attention span. For others, you'd be like "Finally!" While this particular video isn't too good because of the audio, the others will hopefully be much better. Like it or not, more 60+ videos are coming to the channel! No, not every Asphalt 9 video will be 60+ minutes, but don't be shocked when you see one at such lengths.

A video where I unpack, count and test SIM ejections pins I bought from eBay. I can say I'm pleased that the seller did not shorthand me with the quantity, nor did I find the SIM ejection pins to be weak or brittle. ๐Ÿ˜Ž You might say, "Seriously man? How much do you expect from pins that are simply used to open your smartphone's SIM tray?" While I obviously don't expect them to be some amazing, flexible, stainless steel wonders, I do expect them to more than just cheap pieces of metal. After all, you do not want pins that will break too easily, or worse, break off into your smartphone's SIM hole! ๐Ÿ˜ฌ Yes, you can simply turn your phone onto its side, or use a magnet to get it out, but still. If you can prevent it, why not prevent it? ๐Ÿคจ

It's been a while since you've seen me film some toys, eh? ๐Ÿคก Well, the hyperlink in the title above will not only take you to such a video, but a video with the resolution specified in the title itself. Would have been sweet to see how they'd look in 2160p@60FPS, but neither the Nokia Lumia 1520, BlackBerry Passport or iPhone 6s Plus can shoot in such at that frame rate in 2160p. Wait, the BlackBerry Passport can't even do 4K, hence why I rarely make videos with it. ๐Ÿ˜‚ There's also the issue with my computer not being able to handle it, with its stock graphics card.

The Razer Phone 2 is the only member from the 2018 16:9 flagship trio that can do 2160p@60FPs. ☹ Ditto for the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium and Red Hydrogen One. And while the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium will almost certainly see a successor for 2019, I don't know if the same can be said for the latter two, especially the Razer Phone 2. Even if they all see successors, will they be 16:9? ๐Ÿค” Or will I just have to bite it and get the Samsung Galaxy Note 10? We'll see... Probably might not even end up getting any of these devices for all I know. Will I get more fidget spinners? Not sure at the moment. ๐Ÿคก
And this is why you invest in flagship phones: because they hold up well for years. ๐Ÿ˜Ž Despite being an "antiquated" 2014 smartphone, the BlackBerry Passport's camera is pretty nice. It's no Google Pixel 3, iPhone XS Max or Huawei P20 Pro, but it's clearly still plenty capable.

Uhhh, what was this episode about again? ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜ณ Yeah, I don't recall anything particularly spectacular about this one. There has definitely been much better episodes than this. Episodes that took place inside aluminum, episodes that had insane extended techniques, episodes that had seasonal music, and the list goes on. This one definitely falls short on the entertainment factor. The good news is that Episode #19 is thankfully different, and will definitely give you a laugh or have you be like "Da hell did I just watch?!" ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ Oh, and it also has not been filmed with my iPhone 6s Plus, so the audio will be better. ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿพ

Have you seen it? "Seen what, GuuzakaTube?" You might ask. ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿพ This Instagram post. ๐Ÿ‘ˆ๐Ÿพ Many have seen, few have liked, and one has even commented. With it now being 2019, you would think that the couple of times I've addressed this, that it would stop. ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿพ‍♂️ Truth is, those times where I did address it, it seems like the message has gotten lost within videos or blog posts where I dealt with the matter. ๐Ÿ™„ The solution? Make a blog post solely dedicated to the school videos with an FAQ once and for all! ⚠ Why I didn't do that since 2018, the year where much of the unwanted drama occurred, is beyond me. ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿพ‍♂️ Then again, there has been a number of times in the past where the proper solution for something was there, yet I did not take complete, proper advantage of it. ๐Ÿ˜ฃ

2019 will not be a year of slackness and delay. Now, I don't want to make the entry for Waverly Public School a rant, so let us discuss the building itself, and leave the ultimate post and its details to its appropriate time. ๐Ÿ˜… Well, Waverly is not anything too special to be honest. Just your regular ol' suburban JK-8 school. Because the time I filmed it was somewhat close to sunset, it did make for some wonderful photography. Why I pronounced it as "Waverlay" instead of "Waverlee" a couple of times, is something that I wish I had not done, but oh well. ๐Ÿ˜ณ If I ever do film a place with a name just like that, I will hopefully say it correctly! ๐Ÿ˜…

And because it's not located at a tropical beach, I could not ride any waves. ๐ŸŒŠ Even then, I'm not into surfboarding. Never have been, and probably never will be. I'd rather film a walk along the coastline. Wait, I've done that multiple times already. Like this one for example. WHOA! So aside from Canada Day 2018, the last time I filmed a coastline video was October 07, 2017?! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜จ๐Ÿ˜ญ Ouch! I need to do more of those for 2019! And like how I got my hands around 4K, we should be able to enjoy more details than ever before! Ohhhh, now I can't wait for it to get warmer to do this!!!  ๐ŸŒด☀๐ŸŒŠ

I want to get three gaming videos uploaded in the next batch. Not only does my channel happen to naturally have gaming as one of its major pillars, but it also happens to be a major pillar on YouTube, making it a win-win scenario. But you know what else is a major pillar of GuuzakaTube that has been missing in action for a while? Commentary videos.... ๐Ÿ˜ถ A few have been brainstormed, only to end up getting cancelled. ⚰ For March 2019, will there finally be a commentary or talk video of the sort? Its best not to say at this point. ๐Ÿคซ

So the only guarantees at this point are the games and Casual Instrumental Noise Session Episode #19. I've already made numerous ramblings throughout this entry, so I do not have anything more to say at this part. Wait, actually I do: LET ME MONEY RAIN UPON ME! ๐Ÿค‘๐Ÿ’ธ๐Ÿ’ธ๐Ÿ’ธ๐Ÿ’ธ๐Ÿ’ธ๐Ÿ’ธ๐Ÿ’ธ๐Ÿ’ธ๐Ÿ’ธ With this money, I shall get that Tesla Model X, Red Hydrogen OneSelmer Series II Bass Saxophone - Silver Plated, a 4K All-In-ONE PC and MOREEEEEE!  HA HA HAAAAAAAAAAAA! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿคช๐Ÿ˜›๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ Alright, we're done. LOL. ๐Ÿ•’

February 22, 2017 Uploads

GuuzakaTube 02.22.17

February 22, 2017 Uploads

Five videos! Would have been six, but I'll explain that part a little later. Wow! Why so many videos?! Because there was a lot to see and capture during my recent trips in Toronto and Oshawa, so let's discuss the following: Saint John Paul II Catholic Secondary School: Walk around and commentary, Military Trail Public School: Walk around and commentary, College Park Seventh-day Adventist Church & Canadian Headquarters Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Ontario Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church: Blue Building, and Kingsway College Drive Off-road Forest Exploration. Mighty goodness! That's a lot of long titles going on there, and equal amounts of coverage and photos were taken. Let's dive into this going with the usual theme of chatting about the videos that were short first.

So remember from the last entry, February 16, 2017 Uploads, in the Rodda Boulevard part where I mentioned that there was supposed to be a plan A done that day, but then went with plan B, which ended up being Rodda? Well, this was it: this high school. Yeah. So why exactly didn't I shoot SJP that day? Because it looked like there was some “big(?)” event going on during that day, so the grounds weren't quiet and vacant as I'd like them to be. Be of course, I did not want to go home with nothing, so I decided to film a neighbourhood. This time, the grounds were vacant which allowed me to finally get this video done in peace and quiet! Ah, it was so satisfying! This high school had a lot of interesting corners, marks and attributes to it, that made it so great to film and photograph. I didn't film the track, because I didn't know where it was during filming, but by the time I went around to photograph the school, I realized that it was mostly covered in snow and slush! That's also where I figured out that it and it's neighbour, Military Trail Public School, have the Ellesmere Ravine behind them. Interesting! Speaking of Military Trail, I should go ahead and discuss it.

You know what's funny? Since I was approaching this area westbound, this means that I initially passed this school first, but yet I decided to film Saint John Paul first. Why? Because it was the one that had me itching more to film it. That's why. Ok, that's lame so let's get into some details here! As you've heard me remark in the video, I really enjoyed filming this school. I looked the looks of it, it's surroundings, and just many things about it. For that reason, I even went ahead and said that it was the most interesting elementary school I've filmed to date. Nice work, Military Trail, but there's more elementary schools to discover out there that may be better looking than you! So like the other video, there were also a fair bit of complaints about the excessive snow, slush and inappropriate shoes for the conditions, but I did appreciate the mild winter weather that day. “So what additional things happened behind the scenes, during, before or after?” you might be wondering. Well, Before doing this, I believe my phone shut off from the cold, but don't worry, I won't make this another one of those long elaborate complaints and analyzations about why my phone shuts off outdoors so much. What I should say, is that I've actually executed a solution in one of the more recent videos. Will elaborate more on that when I get to it. So, I guess there's nothing more I have to say about Military Trail Public School, so I shall proceed with the next heading.

According to Word, there are 94 characters in that mighty long title. Believable, isn't it? So this area I went to in Oshawa, appears to be the “Great Mighty Seventh-Day Adventist” strip. Seriously, you have a church in this area, two headquarter buildings, a college, a store, a distribution press, a greenhouse and many other buildings, all pertained to the Seventh-Day Adventist church. Wow. Impressive. As a result, I even nicknamed this expedition “The Great Oshawa Christian Quest” in the “Dead” Kingsway College video, but I'll talk about that specific entry a little later. So! The video I made covers both the College Park Church and one of the buildings for the headquarters. Why did I do this? Should probably be kind of obvious, especially if you're a YouTuber yourself, or if you just know me be now. I did not quite feel like putting down the camera after filming the church, and because the site was so close, I crossed the road to capture it. College Park Church was an interesting site, in that the building itself was fun to go around because of its hilly, busy surroundings. It's also pretty large, so that too was a plus. Because I couldn’t tell if the brown headquarters building was completely closed or not, I had to film it with caution to avoid looking unnecessarily creepy. I successfully captured and photographed it. Yes. I sound like such a bad man or a spy based on the way I'm talking here, giggity! Anyways, I loved all those provincial flags in front of it. It makes it look so proud and patriotic, but you know? There's more! Let's discuss the other part of the headquarters which happens to be much larger and bluer!

After doing the church and the brown headquarters site, this one was next! Boy oh boy, does it look impressive and proud! Big, blue, lots of glass, and it's ever so shiny. This site is clearly the flagship headquarter for the Seventh-Day Adventist church, but as for the other smaller, brown building, I honestly have no idea what purpose it serves. One thing's certain, is that my purpose for this trip was to film and photograph the great, blue, holy building. It went great! The weather wasn't warm, but it wasn't super cold either, and there was plenty of sunshine. After this shooting this video, the next great and unfortunate segment took place. Read on below to get the scoop.

The Dead Video of The Great College Park Drive & Clarence Bisential Drive Exploration
In this video, I initially slated to film just Kingsway College, but after seeing how “small” it was, it was quickly covered. I did not feel like dropping the camera, so I wandered around the area. It was then, that I soon discovered that there were TONS to see! So many paths, bushes, unfamiliar territory and roads! I wandered over to a burnt looking auditorium, went up the road to some rustic, ancient-looking building that looked as though it had been around from the early 1900s, walked through lots of snow, many paths, ended up seeing the Beuna Vista Hall, an exercising complex, the Adventist Book Centre, and what else? Not sure if I'm missing anything else, but you can tell that I definitely saw a lot, and wandered into some very interesting areas. This was indeed an interesting, historical, modern, wild area all in one. When I finally returned to a more familiar part of Kingsway College Drive, I was getting very close to ending the video, but wanted to end it in the same area where I filmed Snow, pellets and Wind from last year. Shortly after arriving in front of the wooded area, a message shows up stating “Could not record video” What?! What exactly was that supposed to mean?! Did I seriously just lose almost 40 minutes of footage?! I quickly looked into my videos folder to find it, but it was not there. I looked into file manager and the file was there, but it could not be played… I was very disappointed. A 35 minute video, and the system for some reason couldn't catch it? What gives? Was it the memory card to blame? The formatting? The operating system? Who knows! Because the file exists, it's not truly lost, but because it cannot be played due to a “missing codec” caused from MP4 corruption, it has classifies as “dead” in my books. There are expensive tools out there that claim they can fix MP4 files, but aside from those, what are my other options? I hate to have one of these conversations about this again, but this time, a 35 minute video is pretty serious business. Admittedly, I haven't spent much time looking into other alternatives this year, after the 1st original dead West Hill Video, because I thought “It was only the temperature that this caused this incidence, so I won't see temperature related problems again if I make the proper precautions” True. For this trip I finally got around to tethering the phone with a portable pack and – viola! No shut-offs and big, red, empty battery icons showed up! Unfortunately, I just had to be struck with something else, as soon as I find a solution for one problem. Great. Perhaps I should just update the device, or format the card, and see if that helps for this weird size problem. Due to the disappointment, I went ahead and filmed Kingsway College Drive Off-road Forest Exploration, to make up for this loss.

So as you know by now, this is a make up video done after discovering that the Kingsway tour video's MP4 has gone corrupt. Here, I talk about the situation and the reasons why I made this very video. I went down into the forested part and walked around. Not a ton of exciting things to do or see down here, but it was still kind of fun to trek through the woods of Kingsway.

It feels like I've this said too many times, but I seriously need to do proper research on this MP4 issue. I know there's a reliable, free solution out there, but where is it? Does it really exist? Or is it going to have to come at a cost? Who knows. I've posted a picture from the tour on my Instagram page, where I asked about how you can fix broken MP4 files. To date, no replies, but one like. Didn't really expect to see any advice, you never know until you try… MP4 problems aside, I really liked how the videos came out. In comparison to the blurry Rodda video, these videos have came out so much sharper and crisper, all thanks to the HDR setting. Wow. Who knew it could make that much of a difference? Stability has not been the best, but it certainly wasn't the worse either, as I've really tried to concentrate on the camera still while moving. What's in store for the next batch of uploads? Hard to say for certainty, because I've been saying for a while that I've been wanting to do some commentaries and gaming videos for a while, yet haven't gotten around to it. I'll just say that I'd ideally like to get one of each category done for the next batch of uploads: one outdoor, one commentary, and one gaming.
