December 4th Entry: The Novemberian Crowd

December 4th Entry: The Novemberian Crowd

πŸ”΅This blog post may contain affiliate links

Who is this Novemberian crowd that I speak of? 🀨 Come on, could it be any more obvious? It is none other than the 13 videos that were uploaded between November 29-30. 😬😱 Yeah, I did not think that I was going to end up uploading that much videos either. I overfilmed and ended up with more than anticipated. πŸ€ͺ Alright, so let us dive into them now! πŸŒŠπŸŽ„

I have been here before. Exactly two years and 5 days ago, from the time it was filmed from the second visit. Confused? The first visit was originally filmed October 22, 2016. The second trip was filmed October 27, 2018. But of course, while I was filming the second time, I had no idea when exactly I did the first, until now. LOL. Has anything significant changed here since then? No. What is different is that I explored some forest trail at one of the parts. I also discovered another area that gave me access to the beautiful Lynde Creek. It was that same spot that led to my inspiration for the nature videos I filmed on the BlackBerry Q10, Nokia Lumia 1520 and iPhone 6s Plus. Read their headings below to learn more about them.

It's safe to say that it's been a good while since I've recorded a video entirely on the BlackBerry Q10. Ever since I acquired the Nokia Lumia 1520, the BlackBerry Q10 has largely just been a backup camera. And then when I acquired an iPhone 6s Plus earlier this year, it made the BlackBerry Q10 even more of a rarely used video camera. I have used the BlackBerry Q10 quite a bit for Instagram photos though. But even then, not nearly as much as I used to. The reasons for this are obvious: lack of optical image stabilization, no 4K video recording, and the tiny screen is just no fun to use. ☹ But nevertheless, I felt compelled to use it during my time in front of the Lynde Creek. How did it fare? Honestly, it is truly garbage in comparison to the glorious 4K of the Nokia Lumia 1520 and iPhone 6s Plus. The only area it did beat one of them, is in the audio department. 😬 More on that in the entry written for the iPhone 6s Plus. If you've already seen the pinned comment on the video, then you'll already know why. 😢 I wonder how this video would look if it were filmed with a BlackBerry Passport?πŸ€”

I'm not going to bore you or waste your time with this one, so let's head straight to the burning question: are the Glider Gloves warm enough for a Canadian winter? Hell no! Well, unless your winters frequently stay above 8°C, then maybe. The only part of Canada where winters are that mild would be southern Vancouver island, and the southwestern coast of British Columbia. Even then, those areas rain a lot, and I don't think the Glider Gloves are waterproof. Also, let us not forget that even though most smartphones are water-resistant these days, not all of them are. Does this mean that the Glider Gloves are bad and useless? No, they're not, but do not use them extensively for temperatures below 5°C. I can tell you from experience that your hands will get uncomfortably cold in the fingers if you do. πŸ₯ΆπŸ₯ΆπŸ₯Ά

"⚠If you have watched the Lynde Creek version shot with the iPhone 6s Plus, you will notice that the audio is distorted. This is very likely because iPhone's produce MOV files in mono audio. With Windows Movie Maker, you are forced to export them as MP4 files in a stereo format, which I believe causes audio distortion. If you know what settings to use on Windows Movie Maker to prevent this from happening, please let me know. If Windows Movie Maker should not be used for MOV files, list any good, inexpensive movie editors available on Windows 10. The Nokia Lumia 1520 version of these videos came out fine.⚠"

That is the warning you will see in the descriptions of these videos. Thanks to these videos, it is now crystal clear that my videos I produced with the iPhone 6s Plus really did have audio distortion that was not present until when they were processed through Windows Movie Maker. πŸ˜’ Before, I thought that maybe it was just me, but nope! It is 100% proven now. It's rather unfortunate that it has to be like this, because aside from the audio, the videos are otherwise gorgeous. The solution for now? If you'd really rather watch the iPhone 6s Plus versions for whatever reason, you can watch the videos muted, or watch them without headphones with the volume turned low. Quite interesting that the humble, lowly BlackBerry Q10 is more compatible with Windows software than it is. One would think that Apple with its mass appeal products would make the phones capable of producing videos in MP4 and in stereo, but nope! Over the months spent with this smartphone, I can really see why so many Android users poke at Apple's iOS for being such a "prison of an OS"; because it really is. 😬 Thank God I'm not the type of person that only "worships" one operating system! πŸ€£πŸ˜‚ If the Razer Phone 2, Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium and Red Hydrogen weren't so expensive, I would have bought one of them by now. 😒

With the exception of low light scenarios, the camera of the Nokia Lumia 1520 really doesn't disappoint. For a flagship that was released back in 2013, that is no longer being updated, the camera and performance remains stellar to this day. Now I know what you close observers are going to say, "Isn't this also the camera that you frequently complain about cutting off videos and not saving them?" Yes, you're right, it is. But do you know why it does that? Well, from asking around, I finally discovered that it was a glitch with the Microsoft camera app. Wow! 🀯 Surprising, eh? So what is the solution? Use another camera app! 😎 I did not discover the problem and solution at the time of filming this. But thankfully, the app did decide to save the entire video. πŸ˜ͺ

I absolutely loved the way the photos and videos came out with the iPhone 6s Plus for this video. In fact, I loved them so much that I actually took one of the 3840 X 2160 photographs and made it my desktop background. 🌞 Even with the distorted audio problem, the sheer beauty of the moving clouds and colours are nothing to casually shake off.

"Why are people still using DSLR cameras?" That is the question I literally asked out loud as I was searching through my photos to upload this one. Seriously though. The flagships then were really good, and the flagships now are in a whole other league. Some smartphones can now even do 4K@60FPS! 🀩 Such devices did not come until later 2017, and a handful have arrived in 2018. The colours in this video do not look as vibrant and punchy as the iPhone 6s Plus, but they do also look more lifelike? Comment on that and let me know what you think.

Stylish, eh? No? Well, that would depend on who you ask. Canada Goose pom toques don't look extravagant by any means, nor do they need to. You know why? Because they do two things really well:

1. Cover your entire big head
2. Keep you warm in frigid temperatures.

While you can safely say that the price is too damn high for the Canada Goose Pom Toque, they're also actually worth it. How much do they cost? Depending on which "Season/Version" you're buying, Canada Goose Pom Toques can run you anywhere from $60 CAD to $150 CAD! 😡😱🀯😬😳 Buy hey, that's better than the $1000+ you spent on that iPhone XS Max and Samsung Galaxy Note 9 you're probably reading this blog post from! 😜

I have had adequate time with these sunglasses, so I can safely say that they are really good. Better and clearer than a lot of the other "casual" sunglasses I've worn. Have I worn them while fishing, cycling or anything like that? No, because I'm not a sports person. But I have worn them on walks outdoors, and they offer excellent coverage while providing true-to-life clarity.

Yep, lots of outdoors and unboxings in this batch! So, what do I have to say about Valley Farm Public School? Interesting! Because this school is located on a farm down in the valley! πŸ˜ƒπŸˆπŸ‰πŸπŸπŸŽπŸ‘πŸ…πŸ“πŸ’πŸ„πŸŒ½πŸ₯’πŸ₯‘πŸ„πŸ₯¦πŸ₯”πŸ₯•πŸŒ°

πŸ€₯πŸ€₯πŸ€₯πŸ€₯πŸ€₯πŸ€₯πŸ€₯πŸ€₯πŸ€₯

Ok! We obviously know that none of that is true. It is just your average Pickeringian, suburban, regular ol' elementary school. While the school itself isn't terribly interesting, Major Oaks Park was pretty cool. Who am I kidding? I've visited that park numerous times in the summer, so I can say that I love it! 🌞 Especially that forested area. 🌳🌳🌳

Such a lovely photograph, isn't it? Well, you'll see the full set tomorrow on my Instagram. While the photo is beautiful, the music produced within this episode is anything, but that! πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€ Well.....Well, that actually depends on who you are. Some might describe this episode as "eerily beautiful" while others would probably click away as soon as the harmonics drop. If you have not seen this wild-as-an-animal episode yet, then watch it! πŸ€ͺπŸ‘ΎπŸŽΆ

For this heading, I'm not even going to bother with the obvious: I played Flappy Nyan in this video -- DUH! You can see that! Instead, I will focus on what you don't know. That is, the fact that the original video was supposed to be 18 minutes long (21 including the outro song)! 😲 Yeah, really. So! What happened? Before I had the sense to ask a sensible community of experts for help, I resorted to my own shenanigans. I decided to hit the Microsoft home button whenever I wanted to terminate a video, to see if it would save all of it. This worked for a few test videos, but still cut off much of another test music video. πŸ™„ But despite that, I thought that it would have been a good idea to see what would happen with an 18 minute gaming video -- NOTHING! Like, literally nothing saved when I tried that.

🀬😡😠😑😱😳πŸ€ͺ😰😬🀯😭🀬

So now you know why this video looks as though I had been recently playing it off camera; because I was. 😐 Thankfully, the temperamental Microsoft camera decided to save everything entirely, the second time around when I pressed the normal button. So yeah, now you have the full scoop behind this video! 🐱🌈

Ohhhhhh, boy! Flappy Adventure! πŸ˜ƒ Unfortunately, this game is not as cool as the title would suggest. The graphics are great, and the gameplay is smooth, but it's not terribly interesting. It's also too difficult at level 5 or so, which hilariously caused me to rage quit! πŸ€£πŸ˜‚ One thing I should mention is that this is my first video destined for YouTube, that was not filmed with my Nokia's Microsoft camera, but with an alternate application. Not a fan of the 4GB at a time limit, but it's INFINITELY better than the wild, unpredictable, horrible, stressful, messy, pooey Microsoft camera! 😝😝😝 LOL! Seriously though, if Microsoft wasn't in such a hurry to kill off its own children just to sleep in bed with Android and iOS, the apps would be so much better. 😏

What's next? Christmas music, unboxings, likely gaming, commentary and possibly an outdoors video. So yeah, it's quite a bummer about the whole audio on iPhones thing. I'm also really glad to find a working 4K camera alternative for my Nokia Lumia 1520. It should be noted that until I can come up with a resolution for the audio thing, the Nokia Lumia 1520 will once again become my primary shooter. Well, let's be honest here shall we? I was already biased towards it anyways, so that may or may not come as a surprise. Perhaps you may have thought I preferred the iPhone 6s Plus for its applications and better software support. Yeah, you're right, I do love it for that. But I really do not like how "castrated" it is without applications. And if you don't own something like a Mac or another gadget with Apple software, you cannot "use it to its fullest potential". πŸ˜‘ Did you like this entry? June 29th Entry: June Uploads and Upcoming Canada Day Weekend 2018

GuuzakaTube                                                                                                  2018-06-29

June 29th Entry: June Uploads and Upcoming Canada Day Weekend 2018

πŸ”΅This blog post may contain affiliate links

Heh, it's definitely been slow on this blog and the channel this month. πŸ˜… But, fear not; for the 2nd blog post of June 2018 is here! 🍁 If the title is any indicator, there's lots to talk about, so let's just get right into this!

Hot, hot, hooooooooooooooooot! 😡 Much of Ontario and Quebec will be seeing temperatures at, above, or around  30°C! 😨 Now I honestly don't mind this type of weather, but for those of you that do, it will be a problem for heat-sensitive individuals. And would you believe me that Yellowknife and Vancouver are both going to be 18°C for this Canada Day? Yeah, quite interesting. Weather aside, 2018 marks Canada's 151st birthday as most Canadians will know. Last year was Canada 150, so you had a whole lot of things themed "150" to remind you of that. Even then, to be honest, it still felt like most other Canada Days with the same type of outdoor activities, fireworks and maple leaves. That's not to say it was not fun, but just nothing extraordinary.

The gap between the May 2018 batch and June 2018 batch of uploads is probably the biggest gap to ever be seen on the channel to date: 38-39 days! 😱🀯 If you've been reading all the entries since the start of 2018, you will be well informed about why, so no need to bore, repeat or beat anymore dead horses on this. 🐎➡πŸ’€⚰πŸ•―πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ€£

Now out of the 12 videos that have been, or are currently being uploaded as I write this, 9 are videos of Asphalt 8. Because it would be insanity to talk about 9 videos with a similar theme, the subheading will discuss my experience with Asphalt 8 over the past weeks of playing on two platforms: iOS and Windows 10 Mobile

So yes, if you've been digging into the video descriptions, you'll discover that there were many segments rolled into these videos. You will also discover many different dates. "Boring!" Yeah, I hear ya. So! How has it been playing on Windows 10 Mobile and iOS? Variable. Let's dive into this.

If you've seen the videos, you'll know that what I have on my iOS account, was actually my longtime BlackBerry 10 account from 4 years ago, migrated. At first, I wasn't too sure if I really wanted to have two accounts, because I was afraid of it being too much work to maintain two accounts. The solution? I told myself that I'd just use the iPhone 6s Plus for recording the occasional race, while the Nokia Lumia 1520 would remain my primary account, right? 😐 Well, as you can see from the number of uploads on my channel, I was so glad to finally be able to record a smartphone screen without any workarounds. Because of this, I ended up playing it on iOS much more than I anticipated. The presence of metal events, token-awarding advertisements, 8-10 prize-awarding advertisements after 8:00 PM, sharper graphics -- refinement! The application is much more refined on iOS. People weren't kidding about the iOS platform having more polished applications. It really does.

After moving the recorded races to my computer and editing them, I've then discovered that my races had very weak internal audio, whenever I left the microphone on. And then when I would turn it off, the internal audio would be fantastic, but there would be zero external audio. This means no commentary. 😣 So for one of the races, I experimented with capturing the audio with my Nokia Lumia 1520, and then syncing it to the video in Movie Maker. The result? It would remain synced in the editor, but would go 3-8 seconds out of sync once the video was processed. 😭😨😬😰😳🀯😱😡😠😑🀬 I then had to grudgingly abort the audio and make the video silent. πŸ˜’ Fabulous...😑🀬🀬🀬🀬🀬🀬🀬🀬!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Recently, I've boosted the in-application audio, so that when I turn on the microphone to capture commentary and ambient sounds, the in-game audio doesn't sound as weak as it did before. Now despite the bells and whistles of Asphalt 8 on iOS, the Nokia Lumia 1520's larger screen (15.2cm versus 13.9cm on the iPhone 6s Plus) and presence of a capacitive back button, makes it more fun to physically operate. It's really too bad it doesn't have a built-in screen recorder or 3rd party application specifically for Windows Phone

Now as anyone that plays Asphalt 8 knows, this game is pay-to-win! Let me say it louder one more time:

Asphalt 8 is pay-to-win!

Good, you heard me loud and clear now. And with the number of token-upgrade cars they keep introducing in each and every strikin' update this year, it seems that they just keep getting greedier, and greedier, every glass breakin' time! 😠 As a result, if you do not want to "pay to advance faster" as they word it, it takes lots of time to farm credits, participate in daily tasks and so forth. Because of this, I had to make some adjustments for my goals on Asphalt 8. For Windows 10 Mobile, my focus is now on collecting blueprints since I've already acquired enough time-limited cars that do well in Time-Limited Cups or pay 5500+ in Season 9 or Mastery 15. On iOS, I will do manageable events, though these 2018 events have proven to be anything, but that, thanks to the insane number of engines and token-upgrades these new bugger cars require. πŸ™„

Royal Orchard Boulevard Walk

Ah, finally something that isn't Asphalt 8! 🀣 Now because I don't visit places outside of Durham Region or Toronto very often, I figured that I'd do a video of me just simply walking down a residential street in Markham during my short stay there. Even though it was 31°C that day, that did not deter me from enjoying the neighbourhood and doing a video. After all, I have filmed in a variety of conditions: 30°C, -20°C, cloudy, snow, hail, and even light rain. Though only condition I haven't filmed under was moderate-heavy rain or heavy thunderstorms. The latter requires no explanation. ⛈➡πŸ’€ So yeah... I would like to film in moderate-heavy rain one day, but cannot since none of my devices have IP67 or IP68 water-resistance. And no, do not suggest to use a plastic bag over my smartphones, because that results in substandard footage. Remember this video? Yeah, that one I filmed a year and seven days ago at the time of this entry. 🀣 If all goes well this year, I might get my hands on a Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium. 😎

The eighth installment of the Casual Instrumental Noise Session! 🀣🎢🎼
Anyone know what this is? Comment if you do! πŸ‘‡πŸΎπŸ’πŸ“⚡πŸ’‘
#Water #Interior #Guess #WhatIsThis #GuessingGame #WhatCouldThisBe #Inside #Mysterious #Interesting #Cool
Do you remember this? That's right! It's that same image from my Instagram page I posted, May 26, 2018. It's also the very same thing that I filmed in for the 8th episode. So will I finally tell you what it is? No, because:

A) It is really obvious
B) You still have not bothered to guess!

So click on the link if you missed it, and start guessing! 😁 You will win $1,000,000 CAD if you do! πŸ€‘πŸ€‘πŸ€‘πŸ’°πŸ’΅πŸ’ΈπŸ’΅πŸ’°πŸ’Έ So you can finally buy that house and Lamborghini you were dreaming of!

Fantasies aside, this video has clearly proven that #1: the iPhone 6s Plus' camera is really cool. #2: The microphone that sits between the camera and flash is the most dominant on the phone. This is why the video sounded largely as if I actually filmed it inside the vessel, but not quite entirely. This was both expected and unexpected. Nevertheless, it sounds quite cool.

Wow! 🀯😱 Feels like forever since I've done a video on a school! Well, here's finally a video on one. Does Maple Ridge have anything extraordinary about it? No, but it does have a big namesake park and playground right next to it. The larger and more notable Beverley Morgan Park, is within close proximity of it further east. Ok, that's all I have to say about it! 😁 What, you wanted me to say more? Well, it's got a rainbow buddy bench and lots of scurrying squirrels that taste great when seasoned with salt, pepper, turmeric, garlic and nutmeg! πŸ€ͺ No.

What's next? The long Canada Day Weekend! And for you Americans, Independence Day. Stay safe and try not to let a drunken Justin Trudeau or Dondald Trump ruin your long weekend! πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ¦…πŸ

May 20th Entry: Apple Products

GuuzakaTube                                                                                                  2018-05-20

May 20th Entry: Apple Products

Yep, there are six videos in this recent batch of uploads, and half of them are dedicated to products from Apple. 🍎 Ironically, none of them were actually bought directly from Apple. Instead, they were bought from authorized or highly credible third parties. Apple aside, shall we talk about Meghan and Harry's wedding? No? Alright, we'll proceed to discussing the latest videos instead! πŸ˜…πŸ˜³

The Vencer Sarthe sucks. The end. Too short? Fine, we'll talk some more, even though there's nothing super exciting that goes on this video. Assembling the Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG was honestly more exciting than this weak thing. It's really and truly disappointing that its Season 9 track in Brazil only pays a meagerly 3800 credits. πŸ˜’ But despite the pathetic pay, at least it does have a Season 9 track and Mastery races to begin with, unlike those stupid Hot Wheel Cars which don't. I believe I mentioned it in the video already, but if it were truly "beyond their means" to add such races in the game, then Gameloft shouldn't have added them in the first place. I still think that's a grand lie to cover their backsides for something that goofed up in the development process, but whatever. The Vencer Sarthe does look pretty good, and the Championship gave me the opportunity to collect tokens and forced-induction V8 engines. Oh yes, and while we're on the topic of Asphalt 8 and Gameloft, I should mention that I'm in the process of trying to get my longstanding BlackBerry 10 account transferred to my iPhone 6s Plus. I contacted Customer Care on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 and received a response the following day:

Dear 🀬🀬🀬🀬🀬🀬🀬,

Thank you for contacting Gameloft Customer Care.

Kindly note that Asphalt 8 is not a cross-platform game, so you can't synchronize your game progress if you play on two different platform devices.

However if you want to transfer your game between devices with a different platform then we can perform the transfer manually.

Please provide us your Gameloft Player ID of the iPhone device.

You can find your GP ID by going to Options > Info > About.

Kindly note that if you decide to get the progress from your Blackberry on your iPhone and we transfer it, then we will have to reset your progress on your old device.

Please let us know about your decision.

Best regards,

Ok, this sounds great! πŸ˜ƒ I have not received a response on Friday, so here's hoping that they will let me know what's happening to my account on Monday. So this must leave you guys with a serious question: What will I do with my Windows Phone account? Continue to use it of course! It will remain my primary account, while my iPhone account will be used for recording actual races. Something that I've tried to do for my Windows Phone by using my BlackBerry Q10 due to the lack of a screen recording application. I have stopped trying to record actual races long ago, due to the sheer annoyances and difficulties of trying to capture a gigantic tilting Nokia with the BlackBerry Q10's tiny recording frame. ☹ Too miserable and not worth the crummy results it produces. πŸ‘ŽπŸΎ

Does this title sound familiar? Because it should. If you step way back, you'll see a video on my channel titled Trans-Canada Trail: North/Central Strip. Yep, that was uploaded back on July 26, 2016! 🀯 Yeah, nearly two years ago. And of course, that video was also garbage. It had poor sound quality, was unstable and no 4K. Ah, those crummy recording days of mine. πŸ˜…πŸ˜³ Now this video is notably longer, because I not only cover the trail, but also part of Riverside Golf Club and Elizabeth Street. Now unlike that video that was solely done for the purpose of showcasing the trail, this one had a completely different purpose: a motivational video. πŸ€”πŸ€¨ Yep, that's right. This is why there is no commentary on the video itself. Now you're obviously curious as to why this did not happen. It's because I changed my mind and decided to use another type of footage for that motive-themed video. Will that "motivational video" ever see the day of light? The answer to that question is possibly, but not this month. One thing I should say, is that it's not going to be some studio-grade video, in case anyone was about to get their hopes up high. It's going to have a similar outdoors theme to this video, so that should give you an idea of what to expect, if it does get the green light after all.

Ok, so from just looking at the thumbnail alone, you already know exactly what the video is about: me unboxing a Lightning to USB Cable and USB Power Adapter. Why did I order these when these come standard with your typical iPhone? It's because the iPhone 6s Plus  I bought, only came with just the phone itself. To learn more about my transaction with the seller, how it went, and what I thought of the iPhone, skip to the "iPhone 6S Plus Rose Gold Unboxing" subheading. The only other thing I have to say, is that the chargers work flawlessly. Of course, Best Buy is an authorized vendor after all, that sells the real deal. Despite this, there is the odd time where you could get a factory defect, but this was thankfully not the case!πŸ˜„

I'm not going to lie, I really love how well I edited the thumbnail for this video. πŸ€— It looks so good! I know, I know, say what you will, but you know it's gorgeous! 😝 So like Episode #5, Episode #7 also features a candle. The glass bowl really added much beauty to the visual aspects of this video, but too bad the playing wasn't sensual and romantic! πŸ€£πŸ˜… No, you do not have to use a saxophone or piano for that type of music. 🎷❤πŸ§‘πŸ’›πŸŽΉ

So, do I need to explain why I wanted the rose gold colour? Or are we past that "Waaaaaa! Pink is for girls stage?" Ok, it looks like we're good. Now as I've stated in the video itself, the rose gold iPhone 6s Plus actually looks bronze most of the time. The flash photo taken from the BlackBerry Q10 sure did bring out the pink in it, though. So alright, now it's time to answer several important questions that I'd anticipate viewers to ask.

Question #1: You've been using BlackBerry 10 for years, so what made you finally pick up an iPhone?
Answer: When my Nokia Lumia 1520 got lost for a few days in a shopping centre, I was not sure if I'd ever see it again. Of course, as you can tell from the photographs above, I was able to retrieve it, thanks to an employee spotting it and locking it away in safety. Thank God for that! πŸ˜… During it's absence, I thought that it would be time to try a modern, widely supported, operating system. I went with iOS for its application quality and consistent performance. Even though I've bashed poked fun at iPhones hundreds of times for having no microSD card slot (and still do😈), and the 2017 and newer ones for no headphone jack, I wanted my first foray into a mainstream operating system to be smooth. That's not to say that I think all Android smartphones are absolute lag monsters, but that iOS really does offer more consistency and better support.

Question #2: Why Rose Gold?
Answer: It's the closest thing to red. Black and white smartphones are really boring. Besides, I won't pretend that I do like pink. Laugh, I dare you! πŸ”«πŸ˜œ

Question #3: Why didn't you go for the newest iPhones available?
Answer: Not only are they considerably more expensive, they also have glass backs, no headphone jacks and no clickable home button. That's not to say that I won't ever buy a new iPhone, but considering that the iPhone 6s Plus is still powerful, still being supported and offers more useful hardware features, so I don't see why going for the newest iPhone 8 Plus would be beneficial here.

Question #4: How was your experience buying an iPhone through an alternate vendor?
Answer: It was thankfully really good! While it was a little disappointing that the iPhone did not come with the usual accessories you'd get buying directly from them, the iPhone was in near-perfect condition, legitimate, and had the 128GB of storage I was worried about it not having. Did I also mention the cost? At the time of this writing, an iPhone 6s Plus cost $869.00 CAD directly from Apple. I got mine for about $494.00. If we toss taxes and the cost of buying the power equipment and holster case into it, it came up to around $650. Still a significant amount of savings! πŸ’°πŸ’Έ Yes, it is riskier than buying straight from the manufacturer or a wireless carrier, but with proper research and credential checking, the benefits are well worth it. It also helps that eBay is not some shoddy blackmarket. There's obviously nothing wrong with buying a smartphone directly from its company, but for a smartphone released in 2015, no matter how powerful the name or processor is, paying close to $1000 CAD is straight up ridiculous and not worth it.

Question #5: What possibilities do you think the iPhone could bring for your content, and even beyond that?
Answer: Nothing "record-breaking" but with an app-rich ecosystem and a better camera than my current than my current Nokia Lumia 1520 and BlackBerry Q10, it could lead to some interesting opportunities I have yet to take full advantage of.

So that does it for anticipated questions! Of course, if you have something you want to ask that wasn't answered, you're more than welcome to comment down below. πŸ˜ŽπŸ“

Remember Black and Blue Nokia Lumia 1520 Robotic Belt Clip Stand Hard Soft Cover Case Unboxing? Yeah, you can see it pictured right above and have seen it in the video. These two are exactly the same, despite some manufacturers calling it "unbranded" or others listing it as "Insten". Whatever it is, I really like them. Because I have yet to have one fall from a high height onto a hard surface like asphalt or gravel, I'm not sure about how tough they truly are. For what they do, offer at least basic protection, look good, and can attach to your belt or pockets, they really excel at that. Really wish these existed for the BlackBerry Q10. The closest thing I could find was the "MPERO Collection 3 in 1 Tough Blue Kickstand Case for BlackBerry Q10". I know, some of these cases have some really long names. 🀣 Not much else I have to say, other than I'm glad that the iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 6s Plus can use the same cases. Still not 100% sure about everything single case there is between these two, but for the most part, you're good. 😎

Quite interesting how this batch of videos was uploaded on May 18, 2018, and then the last batch was April 18, 2018. Yeah, I've slowed down the quantity of videos because I have to focus on much more important worthy things. YouTube's constant policy changes are too oppressive to bother investing the time I used to. I really hope that a solid platform will merge soon to give them some good competition! 😈 But despite this, I have not totally quit. I realize that doing that would just make the channel completely fade away. Upon coming back to upload, you'll notice that I've made the thumbnails much more lively with vibrant texts, emojis, or just well-edited thumbnails, similar to what you might see on higher traffic channels. Don't worry, there is no clickbait and there won't be. πŸ˜‰  Another area where I've made changes with, is with the blog: no more burying news that should be a standalone post under What's Next & Other Ramblings. It's chaotic and annoying for readers. 😱 As such, the post I was about to make in regards to a confession, will be done in another blog post.

So what exactly is next in terms of videos? Not entirely sure. When June comes, we'll know. Oh yes, I should also mention that my channel's artwork has been entirely replaced with something far more vibrant. Much credit to Adrienne Elle's video on how to make your channel art fit across all devices. Carina Fragozo, I owe you credit for inspiring me to change it in the first place. 😎 So I've discussed the videos, highlighted some of the visual changes, and will discuss the next important quality upgrade in another post.
