October 31st Entry: A Wet Autumn Day

Yes, that's right. The last day of October ends with clouds and rainfall for those of us in Southern Ontario. But perhaps it's raining in your area too? Interestingly, 2 of the videos I'm about discuss below did have a little rain in them. And another video that I've filmed recently that is scheduled to be uploaded this November, also took place when it was raining. 🌧🌧🌧 Well, what can I say? Hopefully you have good rain gear! 😝 Now let us proceed to discussing the latest uploads.

Just as the title says, there are three things I unbox in this video: the Stanley® Foldable EarmuffStanley® QM24 Earmuff and a purple fidget spinner. If you said to yourself, "Wait, the fidget spinner isn't mentioned in the title!" Then I know you are reading and paying attention! 🧐 But for real though, it really is in the video. Why? Because it is. 😁Anyways! You're reading this because you want to know how good these earmuffs are, correct? Well, they both do the job, but don't expect them blot out extraordinarily loud sounds like jumbo jets or moluccan cockatoos. Think lawn mowers, chainsaws and such tools used in a domestic or commercial setting. Industrial? I honestly don't know. Now perhaps the most important thing I should mention is comfort. How comfortable are they to wear for extended periods of time? If you have a high or voluminous hairstyle, you'll probably want to just go with reusable ear plugs. The Stanley® QM24 Earmuff may also work, since it's not as tight as the Stanley® Foldable Earmuff. Are these only for adult males? They may be too large for children, but women and teenagers should be fine. Both of these products have adjustments, but the Stanley® QM24 is far more flexible.

The school of the dancing unicorns! 🎶🦄🎶 Except not really. Yes, it was named after a horse, but not a unicorn. Big difference there. 😐 As you'll know from watching the video, this school, like Viola Desmond, also opened in September 2018. I guess some areas have been experiencing a lot of growth over the years. Others, not so much. Not a ton else I can say about this place, because I didn't see any spectacular landmarks or anything. I suppose the 2018 engraving at one of the entrances is cool. The rainy scenery, though dull, also adds some cinematic variety. 🌧

Now with this video, I was not entirely sure if I was going to upload it or not. After the Nokia Lumia 1520 failed to save one of the key parts of the video, it initially put me off from uploading it altogether. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 As you can tell from the presence of it here, I have decided to bother with it. I mean, I did record it and go out of my way to trek up there, so it would be silly to discard the entire video. Like the usual under construction environments, there was plenty of mud, stationery machines (because it was the weekend) asphalt at some parts, rocks and hills. And let's not forget lots of unpaved driveways.

Of all the random things I've shown in these episodes, could these Tamagotchis be the most random yet? Maybe the most interesting? The weirdest? Cringiest? Most nostalgic? You're gonna have to drop a comment on the video itself, or the blog to let me know! So! Is there anything special about this episode that doesn't take place in the others? No, nothing extraordinary, except that this episode features even more of those wild growling, trembling, glissing harmonics! Aside from the "ahem ahem" this video, like episode #13, so obviously features lots of growling harmonics. Even more so than #13! In fact, the introduction isn't made until a good three and a half minutes in! 😱🤯 Adding to this, you can even see the tenor recorder's foot trembling in certain parts of the video! 😲😮😯 What are you waiting for?! Go watch the video for yourself to see this description in action! 🐍🦔🐪🐙🦇

Wait, I need to address something: 13:09
In case you couldn't click fast enough to stop it at that split second, but were loyal enough to come here for more information, this is what it looked like. I've complained for long enough about whether it's the MicroSD Card, the Nokia Lumia 1520 or the camera application used. So what will I do? Get it formatted later on today, to see if that will finally fix things. Why I decided to put up with this abysmal behaviour after more than 1 cut-off is beyond me.... 😵😵😵

Looks fun, eh? Well, if you like blue balls, 3D games, don't mind tilting your smartphone to various crazy angles, then you will love Aerox. Still, I honestly think Chromasphere is a better game with a similar premise, but with more refinement.

In the beginning of this video, it sounds like I am saying "Im world" when it is supposed to be "Super Jim World" 😒 I've noticed the audio slightly cut off at the beginning of Casual Instrumental Noise Session - Episode #14, too. It was supposed to be "ahem ahem!" and not "em ahem!" 🙄 This is not the iPhone 6s Plus' fault. Rather, it seems like something went slightly borked after the video finished processing from Windows Movie Maker. 😠 Joy. 😬 Anyways! Complaints aside, this game is awesome! 😎🎮🎖The graphics are excellent, the game runs smooth, the levels aren't horribly difficult, and they were well designed. 👌🏾 10/10 will play again. 🍄😝⭐

The internal audio of iOS' screen recorder SUCKS when you turn on the microphone to allow for commentary and ambient audio! 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾 You would think that they would have improved it for iOS 12, but nope! In fact, it may have actually gotten worse because I've noticed it occasionally cutting off recordings of my GarageBand videos! 😠😠 This is something it did not do prior the update. 😡😡 Being frustrated with the ridiculously low to non-existent the internal audio is, I decided to record another episode of the Nyan Cat with the Nokia Lumia 1520. My goodness gracious me! Was that the biggest joke of 2018 or what?! 👾 The sucker kept cutting off numerous parts of video! There was one segment where it only saved 3 seconds of one video clip that was supposed to be 10 minutes! Let that sink in for a moment: 3 seconds out of ~600 seconds saved. 💀💀💀 That's not just pathetic, that is straight up ABYSMAL! I've complained long and hard enough about this issue, so as addressed above in one of the texts, I will be reformatting the MicroSD Card once and for all! If it still does not fix it, then I may have to either record shorter segments internally, or even use the BlackBerry Q10.... 😳😬😨😰

And for the iOS volume problem? I will try another screen recorder or two. Do you think Apple will fix their screen recorder? Or are they too busy trying to figure out which port or useful hardware they should remove from the 2019 iPhones? I personally think they're going to do the latter. 😞 Rants aside, for the parts that did manage save, most of them turned out great. The audio was fantastic. If the stupid Nokia Lumia 1520 would have just saved everything, it would have made the experience so much better. And well, I guess we could also point out the lighting, but I wasn't personally too bothered by it.

LOL I think I've already rambled and ranted about enough of my complaints within the headings above, so there won't be much need to do it here. I will be aggressively looking into dealing with the issues brought up on iOS and Windows Phone. So what's next? Gaming videos, unboxing videos, outdoor videos and maybe commentary? Who knows. We'll see. I haven't done one for quite some time, and there are some subjects I'd love to roast😈 talk about. 😇 What are the subjects I had in mind? Certain electronics and another thing. Well, that's it for now. Liked this blog post and the videos covered? Then drop a comment! 📝
