March 9th Entry

Welcome, welcome! It is 9th day of March, and I am here to discuss the usual recent uploads, and then some other topics afterwards.🌳

Ariel Atom V8! Honestly man, playing Asphalt 8 over the years, has really taught me to learn about some brands, I'd never under the face of the sun know about! Ariel, is definitely one of them. Do you see this thing? It looks like one of those F1 cars or something. Of course, it isn't, because it's apparently street-legal in reality! 😱 Well, at least in the United Kingdom and certain markets, but I highly doubt that this thing would be legal in pickup truck-obsessed Canada and America. So the video! This video consists of 3 segments that deal with 5 topics: the Peugeot RCZ R assembly, discussion of the Ariel V8 Championship, a garage check, an inventory check, and then finally the 1967 Chevrolet Impala assembly. I know, I know. It's been a while since I've done a racing video. But honestly, nobody has complained, and I highly doubt they would considering that my racing videos are substandard anyway! 😅😳 Do I plan to ever record a race again? Yes, I do. In fact, since I've got my BMW M2 Special Edition maxed AND pro'ed, I was thinking about recording all of the mastery races. There are other cars that I've been thinking about doing this with as well, so you can expect to see these videos at an unspecified point in the future.

You will not like this video, if you like Donald Trump. 😐 Or maybe you will, and will probably just laugh or roll your eyes at it. This dating website is indeed real. Not only is it real, but there is apparently two of them: Trump Dating and Trump Singles. That guy in the red hat that was originally there as an image model for the website, has been pulled down. Why? Because he was apparently convicted as being a sex offender?! 🤨🤯 Read here to learn more on that. The website was also accused of only allowing straight people to join, and according to other sources: "The site’s ethnicity section also allowed users to get curiously specific with their particular strain of whiteness: 'Scandinavian/Mediterranean/Eastern European/Western European.' "  😬 Wow, so I was not kidding about the website changing some things around, by the time I came to do this commentary video on it. I'm not sure if that filter is still there, but wouldn't be too surprised if it were. Now, not all (or at least I hope not) Trump supporters are white, hateful, or extremist, but the website sure is/has doing/done a good job at perpetrating the stereotypes of a Trump supporter. 😰 Niche dating websites aren't that extraordinary after all, so I wondered in the video if there were one for Justin Weedeau? 🍁🤣🤣🍁

Snake games are anything, but unusual. Problem is, when you ask the average person about a snake game, they'll either think of "Snakes and Ladders" or a game involving a pixelated snake going around in circles, while trying to eat apples or balls or something. This game beats both of those odds! Not only does it have full colour in high-definition, but it involves a snake that goes through various levels, in various mazes to go places. The images above speak for themselves, but what about that wild, funky soundtrack? Yeah, that too, is another thing you might really like, or consequently hate about this game. As fun as this game is, playing it on a tiny device like a BlackBerry Q10 can be a little annoying. The reason for this is because you'll have to adjust the zoom level a lot, depending on how detailed or complex the level is. Then again, most people these days, do not use such smartphones. They have their nice, large, Samsungs, iPhones, LGs, Xiaomis and more

You're favourite dreaded tenor recorder noise session is back for episode #3! 😝 What do I do differently this time? Not a ton. Unlike last time that had a bit of singing-into-instrument harmonics, this session also had some of that as well, but also a part with me failing to play the 3rd movement of Vivaldi's Autumn so badly! 😭 Oh well. It was still a fun attempt. I did also mention that I haven't played that piece in a very long time, so don't judge too hard. 🤣 Have a good laugh and just enjoy these free, casual, noise sessions! I know it's not your beloved guitar, harp, flute, clarinet, saxophone or something, but you know it's still beautiful! Oh yes, I should also mention that this one wasn't recorded in the bedroom unlike the last two, but in a washroom, with the Lumia 1520 microphones. Gotta experiment with those acoustics!

My goodness, do I wish I could do another outdoor video soon! 😖 The last time an outdoor video has been uploaded to the channel was on February 06, 2018! What day is it today? March 09, 2018. 😠😵😱😳🤪😰😬🤯😧😨😩😦😭😢😟😖🙁☹😲😕😒😔😓 "Really drama queen? What's with the excessive use of emojis there?" Some of you might say. Well, the outdoor videos are a big deal for the channel. Not only do I enjoy making them, but people also enjoy them too, particularly the school videos. This makes these types of videos a win-win situation. So what's going on here? What's the REAL hold up? My irritable respiratory tract. 😨 Yes, I'm finally coming out with the real hold up on this matter. No, it's not diseased or anything like that, nor am I dying, but it keeps spitefully regressing every time I go outdoors, making things very frustrating. Not just in regards to YouTube, but outside of it as well. I have seen a doctor, and have been doing what I can to make it heal. Hopefully it will cooperate and stop being a sour sport. Outdoor videos aside, you can expect some gaming videos, and probably a commentary next.

Smartphone Ramble

And now that the Mobile World Congress is over, all messenger bags have been unpacked, I can safely say that I'm not excited as I used to be for smartphones a few years ago. Why? I did Tweet about this back in late January, but I forgot to mention one thing: notches. Yes, that's right; other smartphone makers are now starting to copy the iPhone X's stupid eyesore notch. 😖😖😖 Gosh do I miss the days when smartphone manufacturers actually tried to be different! You know, removable batteries, 2K - 4K screens, capacitive buttons, headphone jacks, microSD card slots, 16:9 ratios, and for a few, physical keyboards. These 2018 days, the average smartphone looks like this: 18:9 awkward, narrow ratio, non-removable battery, on-screen navigation keys, no microSD card slot and no headphone jack. 💀 So can I ask why they're starting to exceed $1000 for some of them, when they're losing so much precious features of the past? So ridiculous. Yes, you could just buy an older phone like a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 or something, but the problem with older phones is the nonexistent official software support. I made sure I highlighted that part, because not everyone wants to or knows how to install shady ROMs on their smartphones. And then there's the fact the older Androids particularly, don't run CPU intensive applications too well. I guess the underrated LG G5 and V20 are the last major flagships to have a removable battery, 16:9 ratio, headphone jacks, microSD card slots, and are currently being supported. The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ thankfully do not have eyesore notches, and do at least have memory expansion and headphone jacks. So not all hope has been entirely lost, but it's gradually getting there. Or will there be a manufacturer to come out of the blue and cut through all of this madness by catering to users that miss certain hardware? Who knows... time will tell... Let's just pull a toque over our eyes and hope for wonderful things.🤣
