For some reason, but I don't know why, it feels like I haven't put up a blog post in forever. I know, the last post was put up 10 days ago, but still. Perhaps it's the fact that I failed to put up a post during the February 19-23 weekday period? Yeah, I think that's the reason why. Anyways! It's time to discuss the latest uploads! 😄🎮

Asphalt 8: Airborne - Inventory Check and Attempted Assembly

The title does a fine job at telling you exactly what to expect in this video: me checking my inventory on camera, and attempting to assemble the BMW M2 Special Edition. Do I succeed? Nope! Well, not at the time of that recording at least. I have since unlocked the car from a long time, and I can tell you that it's great! It it indeed the new Class B King, so if you managed to win it during the Fall Out Boy event, it was worth it. The BMW M2 Special Edition is great for those time-limited events, multiplayer and has a high paying track in Season 9, Rooftop Raceway Munich. How is my inventory? It looks fine for the most part, though I did have some suspicions with a few of the parts. 🤔

Don't feel like reading it and would rather remain on this page for the summary? Ok, here you go: transparency and education. She wants YouTube to be a more transparent, friendly, educational, exciting place for 2018. That's great, but how are creators supposed to be excited for 2018 when they keep tightening the rules on what's advertiser friendly and what isn't? Oh, and we're certainly not going to let the complete AdSense demonetization of all channels with less than 4000 watch hours and 1000 subscribers go unmentioned. Removing AdSense from all less established people over the bots, spammers and bad actors is unbelievably wrong! Are they going to change this and grandfather in the good creators? Highly doubt it, but they really need to. Otherwise, this idea of getting many creators excited for 2018 is just going to be a fantasy dream for them. 😑

Bubble Mania Bubble Worlds Egg Shoot

So the colours and lighting in this video are pretty bad. 😰 But you know what? I wanted to have more Windows 10 Mobile gaming videos on the channel, other than Asphalt 8 and the now defunct (on Windows Phone only) Subway Surfers. So this video and the other one I'm about to discuss, are my efforts for more smartphone gaming diversity. Now because this game is just about firing matching eggs to break them, with only two modes, there's not a ton I can write about this. In other words it's a simple time-passer, but can get boring quickly.

Pinball Deluxe: Reloaded

The last time I played a pinball game, was back in October 2016 on BlackBerry 10. 😱 Wow indeed. So when I saw this flashy game sitting around, I decided to give it a go and record it. There are 4 flashy tracks to choose from, but two of them require you to pay to get full-time access to them. 😒 But hey, at least you have a chance to temporarily play on them. The tracks are Carnival, Space Frontier, Wild West and Treasure Hunter. The latter two are the ones that require you to pay. Is this a good game? Yes, it plays smoothly and the graphics are great. But with a name that has "deluxe" and "reloaded" in it, one would hope that it would at least have 6 themes to choose from.

Casual Instrumental Noise Session - Episode #2 (Audio Only)

Did you survive the 1st episode of this madness? Who knows. You know you, so only you can tell me, but what if you're a liar or bragger? 🤣 Anyways! The series continues, so what's different about this one? Not a ton, aside from the fact that I attempt to play more sheet music. At one of the parts, I also hummed the same pitch the instrument would produce to create a fusional harmony effect. Have I made up my mind whether I would only do acoustic instruments and leave out electronic ones? Yes, I'll stick with acoustic instruments. 

What's Next and Other Ramblings

So while there were some videos uploaded onto my channel a few days ago, no new videos have been made from a few days ago.  This means that no videos are being edited and uploaded at this time. Of course, it's only Tuesday (time of that writing) so I could film/record something if I really wanted to. Will I? Unfortunately, no. 😕 So no new uploads for this week. Maybe next week. 

Now on a gaming related note, it looks like the long-time, popular smartphone racing game, Asphalt 8, is FINALLY seeing it's successor! 😱 Asphalt 9: Legends. Yep, about time. The graphics look good and all, but will it truly be as addictive as it's predecessor? Time will tell. I've seen a lot of people complaining about how they're too heavily invested in Asphalt 8, and how they don't like some of the mechanics. There's also a number of people claiming that it's just a hyped mix mash of Asphalt 8, Asphalt Xtreme and Asphalt Street Storm. 😵 So yeah, as you can tell there are a lot of varying opinions on this game. Will I give it a shot? Of course! That is, if they actually release it on Windows 10 Mobile. 😬 From the looks of it, it might just be iOS and Android only. I believe Windows 10 PC is supposed to get it, but only iOS and Android are guaranteed at this point. 😓 Guess I'm going to really have to try and get a Samsung Galaxy Note 8/9 or iPhone Plus this year. Not just for the sake of Asphalt 9, because that would just be stupid, but because they're admittedly superior to the BlackBerry Q10 and Nokia Lumia 1520. Then again, my BlackBerry Q10 has a headphone jack, microSD card slot, HDMI port and removable battery. Things that none of the 2016-2018 iPhones have! 😝 Therefore, in terms of hardware presence, this makes older devices like the "lowly" BlackBerry Q10 actually superior in those areas.🤗

Yes, and while we're talking about smartphones, have you seen the new Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus? How about the Vivo X20 Plus UD? Interesting aren't they? The S9 Plus is pretty much a Note 8 without its stylus! 🤣 The Note 8's presence of two cameras and a stylus is what made it stand out from the S8 Plus, so what's it going to do to be different this year? 😬 Hopefully be offered with 512GB of storage... Maybe a higher resolution camera other than 12 megapixels could also help. That's if, Samsung actually cares about making the Samsung Galaxy Note series different from the S series. Since 2016, it seems like the differences between the two series keeps getting smaller. Not good in my opinion.😕

Is there anything else I should discuss before closing this? No, I don't think I have anything else I would like to talk about. I'd normally include a nice image of the sort below my final words, but as you can see, Blogger is not cooperating with me! 😖

Let's see, Black History Month, Valentine's Day, Fall Out Boy Update, Pyeongchang 2018 Olympic Winter Games and the Carnival in Rio de Janeiro 2018?! WOW! 😱 February 2018 sure is a festive month this year! While some of those events obviously do not happen annually in February, it's both crazy and interesting to see how so many events are taking place in February this year. Oh, and let's not forget the 2018 Canadian International Autoshow! Yeah. This is just a handful of potentially many events going on around the world this month. Will I have anything to do with any of these events? Unfortunately, no. 😒 Well, there is an obvious exception to one of them: Fall Out Boy update! I wanted to see the Canadian International Autoshow, but it won't happen this time around. Anyways! Let us discuss the latest uploads now!

YouTube Partner Program 2018 Changes = Cruelty For Small Creators!

Despite all the cool things happening this month, things aren't so particularly hot this month for Smaller YouTubers, such as myself. As we should all hopefully know by now, in 3 more days, on February 20, 2018, all channels with less than 4000 hours and 1000 subscribers, will no longer have monetary advertisements displayed on their videos. 😖 Gosh YouTube, why do you like to screw and hurt your creators so much? Whether it be Adpocalypses, poor communication, this platform is particularly punishing towards the smaller channels and less famous. "If YouTube 'sucks' so much, why do people keep using it?" some people might ask. Well, there's really no other website that gives it good competition. Whether you make videos part-time, full-time, casually or whatever, YouTube is currently the most recognized and established video sharing website. Yes, there are websites like DailyMotion, Vimeo and whatever, but they just aren't as good in terms of analytics, popularity and advertisement revenue. Casual Instrumental Noise Session - Episode #1 (Audio Only)

Yes, that's right: Episode #1 so you know what that means? There will be more of these to come! 😃😄😀😨😱😠 You may have various feelings about this series, but don't worry because you do not have to listen to them. Well, I honestly do not know how the public feels about the series, because I just uploaded the video today, and it only sits at 1 view at the time of this typing. So, what is the point of this session? Well, the title kind of gives it away already, but if you've actually come out here and bothered to read this, it's because you wanted more details and additional information about this video. Ok, so here we go! This series is about me just casually playing instruments and recording the audio with often minimal, if any at all, editing. Now despite there being "casual" in the title, I do attempt to play sheet music and scales during the sessions. However, I also talk, laugh, and screw up! 🤣 And that gets kept in too. Now for the time being, I'm doing it with acoustic instruments, which happens to currently be my trusty tenor recorder. I've thought about also recording music produced on a keyboard as well, but not 100% sure if I want to do that. Maybe it'll be just left for outros, intros and commentary background music. We'll see. 

Fall Out Boy Update on Windows 10 Mobile

You know the details already: released February 08, 2018 for iOS and Android users, while it was released on the 13th for Windows PC and Windows Phone users. Unlike the Hot Wheels Update which was virtually bug-free, this Update had a number of issues that caused it to be delayed for Windows users. Why does Gameloft use the Android and iOS users as their guinea pigs, rather than thoroughly testing it themselves? Well, I suspect that they rush the updates a little too much sometimes, which results in poor quality. Anyways! How am I enjoying the update? The Fall Out Boy presentation looks nice, but I am generally disappointed with the update for the following reasons:

1. The new cars. While some of them are really good-looking, there are two "special editions", more dumb bikes and no cool, real-world production cars. 

2. The Audi R8 e-tron Special Edition is a token-upgrade car, and it's research event only gives you 10 days to do 50 hard tests! No thank you! I've learned my lesson hard from the BMW Hommage R&D. You do not enter R&D tests without thousands of tokens to spare! Speaking of that, I'll touch on this soon.😖

3. The Daily Rewards no longer just gives out 20 tokens. What?! Why would they do this?! 😠

4. Of all the new songs to add to the game, why'd they have to pick Fall Out Boy? Mind you, I neither hate nor like this band, but would it hurt to add classical music? I know many will disagree with that BIG TIME, but many would also appreciate this, especially for those painful Research and Development tests!🤗

So there you have it. This is why I'm largely displeased with the update. That said, I really do like the looks of the BMW M2 Special, Audi R8 e-tron Special Edition and the Buick Riviera concept. Too bad the Audi is out of my playing league.... 😳 And even though the electric cars added to this update were no Tesla Model X, Jaguar I-pace or Faraday Future FF91, I appreciate the fact they not only added one, but two electric cars. The other one I didn't mention is called the Vanda Dendrobium. I also LOVE the fact they've increased the number of exclusive deals AND you can now sometimes get previously tokens-exclusive deals with credits! Yes! 

BMW Hommage & Renault Trezor

Ok, so it's super obvious that I won the Renault Trezor, and have been using it for time. You've seen me race with it in some videos, and have seen it in numerous screens shots. But for the BMW Hommage? 😭 It was a CRUSHING defeat that has left me smitten with sorrow! 😭 Ok, so I did not cry nor did I destroy my precious Nokia Lumia 1520, but I was indeed ticked off about going through 50 tests, using up all my tokens, dedicating all that time, only to get nothing, but a huge belch in the face from that BMW pig car! Grrrr, the stings and pains! 😠 It doesn't help that the latest update is also centered around a BMW car, to help remind me of the fact that I lost the opportunity to win a better BMW. Test #50 was just too damn hard. I had everything on that car maxed, everything pro'ed, expect in one area, full nitro starter, tuning kit activated and double tank and still lost. 😵 Even when I did not crash, and used 21 keys, and too many tokens to count, I still fell 1-7 seconds behind that God-Level AI...😡 But despite the crushing loss, I managed to learn a lot from this event:

#1 Don't stress so much over a stupid car that isn't even real

#2 Just because others make something look easy, that doesn't mean it is

#3 Never attempt to do hard R&D's without at least 5000 tokens!

#4 Research the tests thoroughly and know what you're getting yourself into

#5 Don't be so negative; be positive

So there you have it for this lengthy Asphalt 8 section! 😅

I know, I know. Some of you might roll your eyes, or be like "What the hell?", but I've added more icons to my video description. This is to give you more quick details about the video! 😁 So let's go over both new and old!

🎥 This has been on my video descriptions for quite some time. It tells you when the video was originally recorded/produced. It may also tell you the duration of editing for videos like commentaries
✈ New! This one tells you when the video was originally uploaded.
🎬📱 An older pair of icons that I use to tell you which camera I used to record the video. It's usually either my Lumia or BlackBerry, but beware of surprises! 
🎮 This icon tells you which smartphone I've played the game on. As you all know, I only record and upload smartphone games.
🎙️ New! This tells you which microphone I used to record the audio in the video.  
🎷 New! This icon tells you which instruments I used to make any occurring music in the video. This will typically be a fipple flute or electronic keyboard.
😎 This icon tells you which elements in the video I own. Yes, I give credit where it's due, unlike other YouTubers who are infamous for using music or artwork, without permission or at least linking back to the original creator! 😰
🛒 This icon let's you know that you're in the "market" section of the video description. And yes, the links are entirely affiliated there, as disclosed by law.

Kiloo's Attitude towards Windows 10 Mobile

Ok, so there's no way you're going to be able to read that, so I highly recommend that you click on the link above this image. Alright, so if you've read some of my blog posts from earlier this year, specifically this one, you'll know why I stopped playing Subway Surfers. For a while, I thought that the company was never going to mention it, but it turns out that they finally did respond to someone about this matter. 😒 Still, I think that they could have done a much better job at informing Windows 10 Mobile users about this, rather than leaving it up to someone to ask on Twitter. The best thing they could have done, would be to openly have a text pop up in the game to let them now that it was the last update. They can also post it openly on YouTube or their website or something. Why am I making a fuss about it? Because it's one of the most widely downloaded games on mobile platforms, which is why I feel that they need to be more public and transparent about releasing updates. As I already mentioned in the post about my discontinuation with this game, I'm glad I never spent real money on it. But for those that did, it's very insulting and is a rip-off to them. Like how Gameloft has given Windows Mobile users an opportunity to transfer progress to a supported platform, I hope that Kiloo will do this too. Not sure if it's possible or not, because I've never looked into it.

How Dead is Windows Phone?

There are four major smartphone operating systems: iOS, Android, Windows 10 Mobile and BlackBerry 10. iOS and Android are thriving in terms of everything: hardware and software support. The latter two on the other hand, are virtually dead!💀 However, even though Microsoft dragged its feet for a long time in regards to the Windows Phone situation, they finally came out with the news back in October 2017: no new development, but will continue to push out security fixes and patches for their smartphones. Sad, but better than nothing. BlackBerry on the other hand... Oh dear... They took even longer to come out with the news! Not only did they take forever, but they do not even issue monthly patches and security fixes, despite claiming so called support! 😫 And to make matters even harsher, they have the worse application support of all platforms! Even Windows 10 Mobile which was bad, fared a bit better. While many developers have given up on those two, BlackBerry 10 is definitely the worse of the worse in this matter! So! How dead is Windows Phone? Well, it's a dead body in a coffin. The coffin gets polished and checked on once a month. BlackBerry 10 is like a dead body in a coffin that will maybe get checked on or polished once every other year. 😵 Depending on your sense of humour, you may find this really funny, revolting, or straight up sad. But considering that 99% of the 2018 population is using an iPhone or Android device of the sort, most people will not care.

Tide Pods Are Not Nutritious! They Are TOXIC!

😵😱🤯🤢🤮 It is still mind blowing that this has even become a thing. It's one thing for a toddler or infant to put one in their mouth, and mistake it for candy. However, when an older child, teenager or adult does this, it's just a whole other level of ROYALLY MESSED UP! How in the universe could one think that it's a good idea to put toxic soap into your organic digestive system as a means of feat?! How?! 🤯 Wow, crazy people! Never eat things that are not intended for consumption! Doing so will result in serious sickness, injury or death! 🤢➡💀➡⚰ Ok, I don't think my readers are stupid (I hope), but I just had to reiterate this. Now eating challenges aside, are Tide Pods good at effectively cleaning your clothes? I honestly don't know, but if your skin isn't overly sensitive, it doesn't hurt to try it for that purpose. The purpose it was solely intended for: cleaning clothes. Man, I didn't think I'd live to see a day where you now have hundreds of new reports and articles dedicated to the ingestion of Tide Pods. 🤦🏾‍♂️ Did you?

Edit: Like most other soap-making companies, Tide does actually offer an unscented, gentle product for people with sensitive skin.

John Meatballs James! Is there an Emoji for spaghetti and meatballs yet? Nope, doesn't look like it! 🤣 Anyways, allow me now to discuss my time with this northern Bowmanviller school. It was alright. Nothing spectacular, but not boring either. Walking around it was actually pretty cool, because there was a pollination station in the front. Because it was snowing with cold wind blowing, there were obviously no bees or honey to be collected! 🐝🍯 Then at the back, there was a very colourful bench, a playground and huge fields. So yeah, this place was actually quite fun to visit. Too bad it was windy and cold, but when you live Canada, you cannot expect to see 25°C with lots of sunshine and palm trees! Especially between November - April! Longer for those far northern places. Some of which can't even reach 10°C! 😵😱🤯😬😰 Thank God I don't live in those type of areas... For the curious, Resolute Bay and Grise Fjord are examples this. Raw, bone-chilling cold at its finest.

O Canada Should Have Been Left Alone! - Reading, Commentary and Discussion

Controversial commentary videos on the channel are nothing new. So this one certainly isn't the first, nor will it be the last one like this on the channel. If there's something that got me triggered enough to make a video on it, I'm going to be real about my opinions on the matter. Even if the majority is going to disagree or have a problem with it. For the case of this one, we can obviously tell from the title, and the Tweet that even came before this video, I'm against the removal of "In all thy sons commands" to "In all of us command". In all the years I've went to school, never, not even once, can I ever recall any girl complaining about the "sons" in that verse. Why, now, are people making a stink about it? Do these politicians, authors, sales clerks, feminists and everything else unlisted, not have anything better to worry about? Why are people taking sons so literally and thinking that it only cares about the male soldiers? Canada cares and recognized female soldiers many times. Well, maybe not so much in the past, but certainly in the more modern times, 2000s. Some people made it look as though it was because it was something bad that has been ingrained in our brains for so long, that nobody bothered to care or think about it. It wasn't. Oh well. The senate has made the change. It's not the end of world. However, if they ever open their stink mouths and complain about how "God keep our land" needs to be removed, then you can expect serious outrage from across the country! Please Canada, do not come down to that point. 🙏 Pushing God away, brings the devil in to play!😨

What's Next & Other Ramblings

There was supposed to be a commentary video uploaded along with these guys. The problem? I just did not like the recording, so I did not even bother editing it. As a result, we will see it on the the 9th, tomorrow, or early next week hopefully.😖 Really annoyed about this, because I've been wanting to upload it from way-oh-when! Anyways, in terms of what types of videos are coming next week, I'm honestly not too sure. Maybe a game or two? Possibly an outdoors video? Wait, a sounds video! 🔊🎼🎵🎶🎙 Yes, how did I almost forget about that?! Well, now that it's been mentioned, you can expect to see that sometime in the near future. I would drop more details on it, but not now. It's nothing good, so don't get your hopes up high, but I personally feel excited for it.
