Brand Questions

Question #1: You have finally created the long-overdue FAQ. Will you maintain it?

Answer: Yes, I will periodically update Questions or Sections when or if it is required. I will also add new questions and answers worthy of being added. I will do my best to keep the numbers the same, though they may change, if Questions and their Answer ever need to be removed.

Question #2: What is your channel about?

Answer: Though I have updated my YouTube channel banner from longtime to make it clearer: Outdoors, Smartphone Games, Products, Music, and Talk videos. ๐ŸŒณ๐Ÿ“ฑ๐Ÿ—จ๐ŸŽต Though Atazaka's banner does not explicitly say this, he has the same theme.

Question #3: What is the difference between Guuzaka and Atazaka, then?

Answer: Guuzaka is the main brand. In summary, Guuzakan videos are longer and more "extra" while Atazakan videos are generally much shorter and simpler.

Guuzaka-branded videos:
-Guuzaka branding
-Almost always more than 10 minutes
-Almost always have intros and outros, excluding nature videos and certain others
-Makes moderate to extensive use of multiple tracks, hence the more frequent onscreen texts, emojis, unboxing music, filler music in some videos, and more
-Moderate to extensive use of random, short filter effects
-Features a variety of resolutions starting, though is 4k or higher majority of the time

Atazaka-branded videos:
-Have Atazaka branding
-Are Almost always less than 10 minutes
-Have no intros or outros
-Have multiple tracks, but the video track is the focus
-Random filter effects are not used as often
-Are only in ultra high-definition (2160p) or greater, making this a notable difference from the past.

Question #4: What is the point of Atazaka's existence when you can just make the same type of videos under Guuzaka?

Answer: To understand Atazaka's purpose, I will have to give you a history lesson of the brands, how they developed, and what led to the branches today. Back in the day, between 2010 up till late 2016, there was no Guuzaka or Atazaka. It was just ATA1201058. The proto-Guuzaka, or Ancient Guuzaka basically. When I ultimately decided that I was going to take content creation more seriously, it led to me rebranding ATA1201058 to GuuzakaTube. In late 2019, the "Tube" was dropped from GuuzakaTube leading it its final name today, Guuzaka. During the 2010-2019 timeframe, Guuzaka has transformed quite a bit going from an obscure title to a brand with a fairly consistent theme and image. As time went in the 2010s I began to miss some of the characteristics of ATA120108. Coming 2018, I began to ponder creating a separate, modern brand that would have some of the traits of ATA1201058.

When 2019 arrived, I decided that I would seriously go ahead and do it, so it happened. I resurrected the old self of Guuzaka under the name Atazaka, blending both the past and present in the name. The official launch of the brand took place on January 04, 2020, making it exactly 10 years from the date what is now Guuzaka was created. Therefore, Atazaka is no mere "stripped down" clone of Guuzaka, but a carefully planned, nostalgic, brother brand of Guuzaka with a defined purpose.

Question #5: What are your brands mascots supposed to be?

Answer: They are sentient sunglasses not intended to be placed on your head, because they can bite! ๐Ÿ˜ฒ Atazaka is less likely to bite than his older brother, however. ๐Ÿ˜Œ You notice the macaws from the brand's Twitter pages, but what you may not know is that Guuzaka and Atazaka actually have 3 mascots each: the main sentient sunglasses you often see; the great green macaw associated with Guuzaka; green-winged macaw associated with Atazaka, and a green-haired, green-eyed girl also named Guuzaka, and you guessed it -- a red-haired, red-eyed girl named Atazaka. At this time, I have not decided what the macaws names are or if they should even have one. ๐Ÿค”

The macaws are not truly those real-word species mentioned. They appear as those real-world species, until when the universe they belong in has enough development to reveal what species they really are.

Question #6: You gotta be kidding me! Tell me more!

Question: If you have not noticed, then that means you have something to do: pay more attention next time you interact with Guuzaka-Atazaka content, particularly the videos and certain special art from time to time.

Question #7: Why Do You Use So Many Emojis?

Answer: Emojis are as close as we can get to modern usage of hieroglyphics. ๐Ÿˆ I make do with them in lament of the abandonment of such an epic writing system! ⚰ On a more serious note, I just simply love them. ๐Ÿค—

Question #8: If Guuzaka and Atazaka are run by the same person, why do they have separate Social Media pages?

Answer: They are separate brands with a similar, yet still different purpose.

Question #9: I love your brands! ❤️๐Ÿ’š What is the best thing I can do to support them?

Answer : Interact, interact, interact! ๐Ÿ’ก Liked that video you just watched? Do not just like it; drop a proper comment telling me why you liked it, or what you found interesting or boring about it. Same thing goes for my Instagram and Twitter posts. Simply liking and taking no action convinces the algorithms that a creator is only making content for skeletons. ๐Ÿฆด Not good!

If you would prefer to support my brands in the most direct and consistent way possible, become a Patron on my Patreon page. Over there I go over many valuable reasons why you would want to do so, if you are in a position to become a Patron.

If you would prefer a 1-time giving option, you can do this over at my Ko-fi page. ☕ You do not even need to sign-up for the Ko-fi platform to give. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ All you need is a PayPal account, and can do so without anybody else knowing. ๐Ÿคซ Except me. ๐Ÿค—

Do you happen to shop a lot on Amazon or eBay? Shopping through my affiliate links is another wonderful thing you can do to support my brands. ๐Ÿ›’

Question #10: I hate your brands! Can you like not make them so the way the are?

Answer: Neither Guuzaka nor Atazaka are mass-appeal brands. ๐Ÿ˜ I upload videos that I like. If you like, cool. If you do not like, you are strongly advised to move on without any drama or nonsense of the sort. ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿพ I certainly care about views and subscribers, but not to the extent of getting 10's of 1,000,000's overnight.

Question #11: I hate Guuzaka, but love Atazaka or vice versa. Can you make Guuzaka more like Atazaka or Atazaka more like Guuzaka?

Answer: If you have a preference for one brand over the other, that is fine. ๐Ÿ˜… You absolutely do not, or should not feel as if you need to like both. You do not! Trying to make them more similar than what they already are would cause serious "Brand Dilution", thus making the existence of both as separate brands pointless. ๐Ÿ’€

Question #12: Why when you upload images you watermark it with something like "Guuzaka | SM-N910W8"? What does that even mean?

Answer: The vertical bar "|" separate the Brand copyright from the smartphone that was used to take that picture. The numbers and letters are what you call the smartphone's alphanumeric code. ๐Ÿค“

Comment Section Rules

Question #1: Why did you delete my comment?

Answer: Did you read my rules? ๐Ÿคจ Is almost certainly because you violated one or more of them.

1. No hate speech.
Do not express any hatred to human beings based on skin colour, race, ethnicity, religion, socioeconomic status, veteran status or other. ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿฟ We are all Homo sapiens sapiens. ๐Ÿฉธ Regardless of whether or not you prefer light skin, dark skin, or are a passionate believer of a certain religion, you absolutely cannot express hate in my comment sections.

2. No spam, bots, or advertising.
This is a major pet peeve of mine! ๐Ÿ™„ No spammy comments, bot accounts, advertising, or self-advertising is allowed. This would also include follow4follow, which is also really pesky. ๐Ÿ˜‘

3. No personal attacks.
Do not prey on people in my comment sections. ๐Ÿฆˆ๐Ÿšซ This also includes threatening other people. Remember, if you result to personal attacks in an argument, it means that you lost the argument. ๐Ÿ˜ณ You were not mature enough to keep the discussion constructive and classy. So if you claim to be all smart and convincing, then actually act like it! ๐Ÿ˜‘

4. Stay on topic.
If a video, Tweet, or Instagram post is about Lake Ontario for example, keep it pertained to Lake Ontario, or at least lakes in general in that specific case. ๐ŸŒŠ This might sound like common sense, but if you ask anyone who dealt with comment sections for a long time, they will tell you that they have lost track of how many times a conversation has gone from ants to zippers. ๐Ÿœ➡๐Ÿค

5. Do not post anyone’s personal information.
Names, addresses, phone numbers, e-mail address, and other forms of sensitive information are a major no-no. ๐Ÿ”’ Names are a bit of a grey area. If you are obviously talking about an individual who is publicly known, then that is different. If you watch a video, and make a comment stating that you, John and Mary were at a certain place where I was at a time, then I will usually leave the comment alone. If you were to post their full names, that would almost certainly result in it getting deleted. ๐Ÿ—‘️

6. No swearing.
While profanity is already filtered out by my blacklist, sometimes there are exceptions where it does not catch it. ๐Ÿคฌ In such an event, I will delete the profanity. This also applies to other languages as well. How will I know what is a swear word or not from another language? You will find out once I get to #9. ๐Ÿค Mild language is allowed.

7. No trolling.
Do not say something for the sake of getting a reaction. Instead, take your time to do something more meaningful and positive. ๐Ÿ•Š Comment sections need not be a sewage lagoon. ๐Ÿšซ๐Ÿ‘น๐Ÿ’ฉ

8. No lying.
This not only includes lying on people, but also posting blatantly false information about something or someone. ๐Ÿคฅ

9. Post in English.
If a foreign comment can be easily and accurately translated in Google, I may leave it alone. Granted, it does not break any of these rules here. Even then, you are strongly advised to post in English, as this is after all, an English-speaking channel. Foreign languages that cannot be translated, or are poorly translated, will be deleted. It is not worth the risk of what potential nastiness someone could be saying that you, or I, may not know. ๐Ÿ˜จ This leads to the next rule: unintelligible posts. ๐Ÿฅด

10. No unintelligible posts.
Comments that are nonsensical, garbled, jibberish, poorly translated, or that cannot be deciphered, will be deleted. ๐Ÿ˜ต Not only are comments like this an eyesore, but are uncalled for. ๐Ÿ‘บ

Content Descriptors Questions

Question #1: Why do some videos have content descriptors, while some videos do not?

Answer: All videos filmed from 2021 and onward have them in place. I thought about some sort of Content Descriptors for quite some time, but never got around to implementing it until 2022. Additionally, older videos that get edited in 2022 and beyond, will have it. ⭐

Question #2: Is it mandatory?

Answer: At the time of this writing, YouTube does require that you declare whether or not your channel is geared towards an audience that is +13 or not. Even though it is not a requirement to have precise content descriptors grading the content, I chose to chose to go ahead and do it anyway. ๐Ÿ“ข Guuzaka and Atazaka can be such variable brands, so by letting people know how intense depictions of violence are or how political a video may be, they will have less of an excuse to complain that a particular made was too political, or had too much violence. ๐Ÿฉธ

Question #3: Why does Guuzaka use stars, while Atazaka uses strawberries?

Answer: Guuzaka is the main star of the 2 brands, while Atazaka uses strawberries because it suits him. ๐Ÿ“

Question #4: Can you explain what each descriptor is and how you grade it?

Answer: The system is based on 1-5, with 1 being the least intense while 5 is the most intense.

1. Blood
Depictions of blood, be it virtual or real. Realistic or actual blood is likely to garner more stars. ๐Ÿฉธ

2.Death
Depictions of dead things, be it virtual or real. Virtual death, like in smartphone games are not likely to generate anymore than 1 or 2 stars, unless it is on the more graphic side. ๐Ÿ’€

3. Gross
Discussions or depictions of things that are gross, be it virtual or real. Real gross elements such as animal scat, garbage, worms, decaying things, excessively dirty water, or talking about gross subjects like mucous discharge are examples. ๐Ÿ’ฉ

4. Language
"Language" is short for Mild Language. This includes words like Damn, Hell, Screw, Piss, and Whore. The grading for this is based on both verbal sayings of these words and written depictions. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

5. Politics
Anything to do with saying or depicting political things, whether it be discussing a certain party, idea, or mentioning an individual. ❎

6. Profanity
Hardcore words like A$$, B!tch, C0ck, Cun+, D!ck, Fu(k, Sh!t, or Twa+. While you will NEVER hear me use these words in my videos, they may sometimes appear on graffiti, virtual dialogues, or as distant chatter in background noise outdoors. ๐Ÿคฌ

7. Religion
Anything religious. Mentions of a religious figure, discussions of religion, religious symbols, and more. ⛪

8. Sexual
Depictions, mentions, or discussions of anything sexual, be it innuendo, sexual talk, sexual symbols, and more. ๐Ÿ’‹๐Ÿ’ฆ

9. Substances
Depictions or discussions, virtual or real, of drugs, alcohol and other substances. ๐Ÿšฌ

10. Violence
Discussions or depictions of acts of violence, be it virtual or real. talking about violence, a character in a game getting butchered, a black bear ripping off a deer's head, are a few of the many types of violence. ๐Ÿค•

Urban Exploration Videos

Question #1: What is the purpose of your school videos?

Answer: They are simply just walk-and-talk videos of the exterior of the building, and sometimes nearby parks. ๐Ÿซ

Question #2: Should I be concerned?

Answer: Absolutely not! There is a reason why they only take place during the school's off days. The school videos never have, and never will be filmed with the intent of stalking, spying, harming, or scaring students or staff. Yes, some people do visit schools for creepy purposes, but that is not the case with my brands. If it were, the authorities would have done something about it from ages go. ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Question #3: Speaking of legal, are you sure this is legal?

Answer: Bare in mind that there are plenty of other Urban Exploration videos on the Internet. Are they legal? ๐Ÿค” Who knows. Laws can vary greatly from place to place. Is this an excuse to copy what I do or what others do? Absolutely not! Whatever you choose to do is done at your own risk, because I never said to go to this or that place. ๐Ÿ˜

Question #4: Do You Go To This School?

Answer: No, I am not in school nor am I affiliated with these buildings. ๐Ÿ˜…

Personal

Question #1: Would you ever do a face reveal?

Answer: I do not feel like doing a face reveal anytime soon, or possible ever. ๐Ÿ˜ I am careful not to say never in regards to a face reveal. However, be advised that if you were really hoping for a face reveal in the future, that there is a possibility that will simply never happen. Keeping my videos faceless is a lot more peaceful, mysterious, low risk, and low stress. ๐Ÿ˜Œ

Question #2: How old are you?

Answer: Millennial adult. ๐Ÿคจ

Question #3: Why are you wearing gloves in all of your 2024 videos?

Answer: Let me make this clear straight out of the gate: I am not wearing gloves due to an excessive fear of bacteria, COVID-19 or something. ๐Ÿ˜… I have resorted to wearing gloves for that time period, due to ongoing bad-looking hands. ๐Ÿค• I hope, but cannot guarantee, that I can go back to making gloveless videos again for Year 2025. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ

2021: What Happened? 2022: The Explanations Of Guuzaka

That Silent Year

'WHOA! You remembered that you have a blog?!" ๐Ÿ˜ฑ Yes, I remember. ๐Ÿ˜… In fact, I never forgot about it throughout 2021. ✏ That said, I also never did any blog posts during 2021. ๐Ÿ˜ถ No, not even 1. ๐Ÿฆ— And for that reason, that's why I call it "Silent Year" in terms of blogging. 2021 itself was by no means a silent year in the world! ๐Ÿ”Š There were certainly lots of things happening. ๐Ÿ—บ But we are not here to discuss what John was doing in Jamaica, or why Mary went to Nigeria. ๐ŸŒด You are here for a long-awaited update on what happened to this place in 2021, and why 2022 ends up being the year the dormancy ends. ๐Ÿ‘€

Focus On Videos
Sometime ago, not sure which post I mentioned this, I announced that I would not be doing blog posts that accompanied the videos uploaded. ๐Ÿšซ This was because I wanted to focus on videos without having blog posts to slow down production output. ๐ŸŒ After all, Guuzaka was born in YouTube. ๐ŸŒฑ Not Blogger. ๐Ÿšซ✍๐Ÿพ As video batches have gotten larger, more time would be required to edit and upload them to social media. ๐Ÿ“ถ Having to do a blog post that details the specifics for all the videos of a batch was not only laborious, but honestly unnecessary 99% time. ๐Ÿ˜ถ Whatever specifics people needed to know, could be easily put in the video description, or better yet ------ the video itself! ๐Ÿ˜ฒ It's not like I'm using Windows Movie Maker or some other weak editor that does not allow you to use multiple video and audio tracks. ๐Ÿฅฑ Waaaaaayyyyy past those days! ๐Ÿ˜Ž So ok, you get it: excessive blog posts are not necessary, and I want to focus on video output. ๐ŸŽฅ Is that really a reason for not uploading for an entire year? ๐ŸŒ Well, though I have said it in some of my videos, a new serious problem emerged within 2020: video debt. ๐Ÿ’€⚰

Severe Video Debt
"What is video debt?" you may ask. ๐Ÿคจ Being behind in videos that were supposed to be uploaded during a certain time. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ Within 2020, it became a 1-3 months worth of videos behind. ๐Ÿ’ฉ Fast forward to January 2022, and guess how bad it has become? ๐Ÿ˜ณ Wait, you can probably already tell from the latest videos on the channel: 12 Months!!!!

๐Ÿ˜ฑ

"Whooaaaaaaaa, man! How da hell did you let it get so bad?!" There are a number of factors that led to this: lack of consistency, real life hurdles, and YouTube becoming increasingly demotivating. ☹ Let us go over these things and then the plans for 2022. ๐Ÿค“

Lack Of Consistency
"Overfilming" back in 2020 was a terrible excuse to let months worth of videos pile up. ๐Ÿ˜– While I have gotten into video debt in the past, it was never nowhere -- not even a millimetre close to the amount of video debt that I am currently in. ๐Ÿ’€ Had I just stuck with routinely editing videos within a given month, it would not, and should not have gotten so out of hand. ✋๐Ÿพ Even better, if I had tried to edit whatever I filmed as soon feasibly possible, that would have made an astronomical difference! ☀

Real-life Hurdles
2020 was a year that shook the world upside down. ๐ŸŒŽ Guuzaka definitely included. ๐Ÿ™ It was a year where all sorts of madness took place, all thanks to something invisible to the naked eye called COVID-19. ๐Ÿฆ  Thanks to this atrocious disease, it led to numerous disruptions across the world from lockdowns, restrictions, standing in stupid lines, unemployment, increased clueless politicians, shortages of goods, and the list goes. ๐Ÿ“ƒ While people are no longer fighting for paper used for perineal cleansing in 2022, masks, restrictions, unhygienic people, and incompetent politicians remain place in place. ๐Ÿงป

YouTube Becoming Increasing Demotivating
No, I am not quitting YouTube, so you can breathe either a sigh of relief or disappointment. ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ˜  Let's just get straight to the point with this:

- 1000 subscribers 4000 watch hours
- Hiding exact subscriber count number
- Putting advertisements on videos without paying creators
- Locking the comment section on children's videos
- removing dislike button
- removing dislike counter from comments

If I missed something that should be on that list, SAY IT! ๐Ÿ’ฌ The recent debacle of YouTube removing the dislike button back in 2021 is so bad that even giga popular creators like PewDiePie and MKBHD have called it out! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ One of the major reasons why YouTube is getting away with this is because they have no competition. ๐Ÿฆ— Every other video uploading website that currently exists just does not have the presence and power as Google-Owned YouTube does. ๐Ÿ‘น As I have mentioned back in an extremely ranty Tweet from November 2021, I hope that a potent rival comes and dethrones YouTube from its position of the #1 Video Hosting website. ๐Ÿ† A rival that will give us everything YouTube has taken away from us, plus everything good that made YouTube good before it started getting increasingly demented. ๐Ÿคช No, I do not want YouTube to be killed; just taught a hard lesson. ๐Ÿ˜ค

Now while Guuzaka is not a children's brand, I have read several sad stories of people leaving YouTube because the platform keeps locking their comment's section. ๐Ÿ”’ Why? ๐Ÿค” Because the video was marked for Kids. ๐Ÿคก If a creator did not make a video specifically for children, they should not go around locking comment sections without their consent. ๐Ÿ˜’ I would go on with more, but at this point, I may very well consider doing an ultimate rant video based on the points above. ๐Ÿ’ข

2022?
2022 will not be a silent year. ๐Ÿ’ก In fact, once I get my consistency set straight, you will see hundreds of awesome videos over the next several months. ๐Ÿ“บ From places, products, animals, new hobbies, and oh so many more! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ When do I hope to get out of video debt? ๐Ÿค” I do not know. ๐Ÿ˜ถ Unlike what some would do, I absolutely do not plan to burn myself out by pulling all-nighters, editing with no breaks, or any of that sort of extremism. ๐Ÿ˜… As much as I would love to be editing January 2022 videos right now, as opposed to January 2021, these videos are not paying my bills which leads to the next point: Support The Channel. ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿพ

Support The Channel
When some people see "Support XXX" their hairs stick up because they feel like somebody's begging them for money. ๐Ÿ’ฐ That is not the case here. ๐Ÿ˜Œ Even if it were, most creators, at least the good ones, do not hound and pound people to give them money. ๐Ÿ’ธ They make it optional for cheerful givers to give them money for their creative works. ๐Ÿ’ฒ

"How do I support Guuzaka?" The number #1 biggest thing I need right now is for people to Subscribe to the channel to push it past the 1000 subscribers threshold as soon as possible. ๐ŸŒ  However, the battle does not end just there. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ I also need people to actually watch the videos, and leave proper comments on them, too. ✍๐Ÿพ This will send a good message to the algorithms and recommendations, that it is not a brain-dead channel full of skeleton subscribers.๐Ÿฆด If you think I am kidding about this, just ask any of those "Helping Creators" focused channels. ๐Ÿ‘€ Hell, even non-helper channels have talked about this problem of subscribers who do not encage. ๐Ÿ’ฌ

The second thing that you can do to help the channel is to shop from my Amazon or eBay links of the video descriptions. ๐Ÿ›’ If you already naturally shop from those websites, doing it through my links may earn me commissions at no extra expense to you. ๐Ÿ›

2 Final Things I Would Like To Say In This Post

All videos filmed from January 2021 and newer now have the following content descriptors:
  • Blood
  • Death
  • Gross
  • Language
  • Politics
  • Profanity
  • Religion
  • Sexual
  • Substances
  • Violence
The details of these will be done in another post. ✍๐Ÿพ

And for the final thing: Channel FAQ. ๐Ÿ˜ฒ "OH MY GOSH! REALLY?!" Yes, really. ๐Ÿคฏ This is actually something that I have been wanting to do since the 2010s, but have never gotten around to it. ๐Ÿ˜ For 2022, that changes. ๐ŸŒŸ This will obviously a separate blog post. ๐Ÿ“ƒ See? ๐Ÿ‘€ I told you that 2022 was not going to be silent year. ๐Ÿ”Š From now on, I'll do my utmost best to try and let that never happen again. ๐Ÿ˜… Communication is important in both video and text form. ๐Ÿ’ฌ Texts are faster, and allow you to go back to them readily and easily to update them. ๐Ÿ“„ Something videos cannot do, unless you would rather spend that much time and resources making too many videos before realizing a post would have served you and your audience better. ๐Ÿ˜ต
