June 21st Entry: Summer Time And Indigenous Recognition

Just as the title says, there are two special things that happen today: Firstly, summer has officially started for those of us in the northern hemisphere. Secondly, for those of us in Canada, today also happens to be National Indigenous Peoples Day. ๐Ÿƒ๐ŸŽถ Despite this, I do not plan to do anything special today. ๐Ÿ˜… Summer is my favourite time of the year because it is the brightest, warmest, most fun season of the year. ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐ŸŒž Some will disagree, and that's ok. Some prefer it a little cooler, while others favour winter because of the sports that can only be done at that time of the year. As for the Indigenous Peoples of Canada, I am glad to live in a country that has not had all of its Indigenous Peoples entirely wiped out. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ•Š Whether you like them or not, there is absolutely no reason to ill treat them, or any other ethnicity for matter. They were the first inhabitants of this land, yet have, and still face some discrimination. Thankfully, it has come a long way, but Canada still has much room for improvement. God created us equally, and loves us equally. We must not hate on people, just because they're not "our kind".

As for the June 2019 videos, they will appear on the channel close to month end. Still need to edit them, so I'm working on that. ๐Ÿ˜… Happy First Day of Summer! ๐ŸŒž For those of you that are going out to watch Indigenous celebrations, have a great time seeing the sights and sounds of our Indigenous cultures. ๐ŸŽต

June 12th Entry: Extremely Late May Uploads

June 13th Entry: Extremely Late May Uploads

Wow! I just finished uploading the last of the May 2019 batch of uploads, yesterday! ๐Ÿ˜ฌ Yikes! ๐Ÿ˜จ They were all supposed to be on the channel by May 29th at the absolute latest. What happened? Well, if you have read the May 31st entry, then you will know that it was because of Windows Movie Maker no longer wanting to export my 4K videos. Why? Well, I can naturally assume that it is because of the graphics. At least, until I noticed that the other editing programs were able to export 4K videos without this problem. ๐Ÿ˜’ Has Microsoft secretly programmed it to behave faulty after exporting a certain number of times? I don't know, but that would be a criminal offence if they did. Remember how it went down with Apple slowing down their iPhones? I believe Italy may have also found Samsung doing something similar and wanted to fine them. Let's just say that blatantly making on older product or service crappier, to force consumers to upgrade is straight up illegal. Alright, I'll talk more about my time with the new editor and such within the What's Next & Other Ramblings area of this blog post. Now finally, let's proceed to discussing the extremely late May videos. ๐Ÿ˜“

The  "Scotch Brite Value Pack Lint Roller 5 Pk - 400 Sheets" is the name of the specific one I bought. The one I was contemplating at first was the "Scotch-Brite Lint Roller, 50 Percent Stickier, 1 Roller with 70 Sheets, Refillable Lint Brush". Like many who would be skeptical of how much stickier it actually is, I just went with the 5 Pack 400 Sheets. Do I regret my purchase? No. It does a great job of removing hair and other particles off my clothes and other surfaces. Should I try the Stickier version? I don't know. If you have legitimately used both, and can strongly attest to the Stickier version being the superior of the two, let me know in the comments. Even better, if you have a YouTube video where you demonstrated it, you would not only be helping me, but thousands of others as well.

Anker time! ๐Ÿ”‹๐Ÿ”Œ⚡ Getting a second charger was long overdue. I had several older junkier chargers that just did not do a high performing job. I put them away, and decided to add a 300cm Anker Powerline to my purchase. With two high quality chargers, I can now finally charge both my BlackBerry Passport and Nokia Lumia 1520 with greater reliability. Oh, and transfer files smoother, too. ๐Ÿ˜Ž Because the connectors are so tight, they don't wiggle and cause a disconnection within the computer.

Because there has been two other episodes I've filmed after this one, I honestly do not even remember what was special about this one anymore. Well, I don't think there was anything "special" about it to begin with. Still would have helped if I were able to get the entry written sooner. ๐Ÿ˜’

Did you miss the rainbow cat? Well, you'll be pleased to see it again in this video! ๐Ÿ˜ธ๐ŸŒˆ I've updated the app to see what changes have been made. Aside from maybe power ups and possibly new worlds, not much else. And yes, this one was recorded internally with the iPhone 6s Plus' screen recorder, and not the Nokia Lumia 1520's Bugrosoft plagued camera applications. So what does this mean for you? ๐Ÿคจ No random cutoffs, and consistent 1080p@60FPS gameplay. ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐ŸŽฎ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ

After placing merchandise within the videos for several episodes, I have finally decided to make an episode without any. Because you know? It's good to switch things up sometimes. I'm sure many of you will also find the rocks in water much more refreshing to look at. ๐Ÿ˜…
Unfortunately, I did not take the usual regular pictures of this setting. By the time I had noticed I didn't, I could not be bothered with recreating the scene. ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜ณ

"How come the Oshawa pier has guard rails, but the Whitby pier doesn't?" If you have asked this question after watching the video, or even just looking at the thumbnail, guess what? You're not alone! ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚ Though they can obviously lock it in bad weather, I can tell you that this Whitby pier, unlike Oshawa, is still very easy to get into. No, I am not suggesting you do that, so don't go saying "GuuzakaTube" told me to go in there, should you get into complications. ๐Ÿ˜ Anyways! It was a beautiful place, and I enjoyed the view. ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ™‚

In an area like this, one does not simply go home with just one video. Therefore, I did 3: 2 on the Nokia Lumia 1520, and one on the BlackBerry Passport. This park is located within the vicinity Sunrise Lake Park, only a little further east. Well, nothing more I can say other than to enjoy the gentle waves and 4k footage. ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ˜„

"GuuzakaTube, aside from the resolutions between these videos, what's the big difference?" You might ask. Well, not a lot to be honest. This video has more action in it, because I throw lots of rocks during some parts of it. Not entirely though, as parts of it are also chill. So all in all, it is a half action, half chill video. ๐Ÿ˜๐ŸŒŠ EDIT: I threw rocks in the Nokia Lumia's video, too.

Yeti machete! Except that it is obviously not a machete, because you know I'm only trying to rhyme. ๐Ÿ˜ Anyways! Now that I've actually been able to use this Yeti Rambler outdoors, I can tell you that the size and width of the mouth are very useful. Oh, and their sturdier handles. The latter is what made me ultimately choose it over Hydroflask. Despite that, I do plan to to get a Hydroflask bottle at some point. They too, are also really good and are cheaper than Yetis. Yes, many people complain about Yeti being overpriced, but guess what? You don't have to buy one. Seriously, complaining about their price tags obviously has not made them lower their price. They are a premium brand name outdoors company, so their price reflects that. Not that this should be a reason to make prices unnecessarily high, but it is what it is. Oh yes, and in case people were wondering why I bought two, that blue one was not actually mine. It was destined for a relative. ๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒฒ

Well, this title sums it up spot on: I buy 8, 9 actually, Lamborghini
Packs and do other things like play in Career, Time Limited Events, and so forth. Wanted to buy the Lamborghini Aventador J as well, but I did not have enough tokens for that cash grab car. And no, I still have not, and will never spend any real currency on this game. Screw
the pay-to-win system! ๐Ÿ˜‘ Food and bills are too expensive to be wasting money on cars that Gameloft will likely nerf in an update or two. And for the record, this would technically count as a criminal offence, since they are blatantly reducing the performance of things they expect people to pay money for, in effort to make them buy a newer offering(s). So Gameloft, wake up and realize that some of your money making schemes are crimes!!! ๐Ÿ˜จ๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜ฑ
One of the Lamborghinis I was fortunate to unlock from the packs.

Since the weather has warmed up, more flowers and other plants are appearing on the properties, making them much more attractive to film. And slipping hazards, thick snow, rhinitis, and other botherations associated with colder weather naturally disappear, too. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚ Well, rhinitis can occur in all seasons, but is by far most prevalent in winter. Anyways! What's up with Saint Worden? Well, it was vandalized the week before I filmed this video. When I learned that it was vandalized, it captured my interest, so I decided to film it. As I disclaimed within the video, I have nothing to do with the criminals that performed that horrible act. I also do not support any destruction or bad activities towards properties. ๐Ÿ˜ It is important to reiterate this, due to the many stupid keyboard warriors out there, that entertain the idea of spewing foolishness. The building itself, wasn't anything too special, but the park behind it is quite nice. ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒฒ☀

Despite the delay and issues that occurred when I had to edit the last 3 of the May 2019 uploads, much of the June 2019 videos have already been filmed. Windows Movie Maker: I have been using this program for the longest time ever, and have never bothered to learn any other video editing program. I would have dabbled with Vegas Pro, but the cost was a turn off. I felt it was not worth it when Windows Movie Maker could do what I needed it to do: edit videos with ease, simplicity and grace. I was not, and still do not have the need for extravagant editing. It's just not my style. Suddenly, late May 2019 comes, and Movie Maker decides that it no longer wants to export my 4K videos. ๐Ÿ˜“๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿพ‍♂️๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿคฌ It also begins to occasional turn black and forces me to restart the program. It was at that moment, were I felt like I was seriously screwed. ๐Ÿ’€ Is it the end? Is there any other program I should try? Should I shell out for something decent and not too expensive for the sake of exporting 4K? ๐Ÿ˜ฑ I had to act fast. Well, I didn't have to, but I really did not want the gap between uploads intended to be released within the same batch to be so big.

Therefore, I started taking a look at numerous free and paid programs. Wondershare FilmoraDaVinci Resolve, Camtasia, ShotcutVideoPad Video Editor, Lightworks, and VSDC. Filmora was the first one I took a look at, but decided against it due to concerns surrounding spyware, and what they do at their servers. Probably not true, but couldn't be bothered to do enough research to confirm that issue. Next, I looked at DaVinci Resolve. I then decided to download it and give it a shot. The user interface was completely alien, but I still wanted to see if it could really export 4K videos. After poking around and looking up how to export, I then discovered that the free version has limited options for the frame rates. Not as much flexibility certain other editors have, so I decided to try something else. VideoPad Video Editor was a tempting option, especially considering its resemblance to Windows Movie Maker. However, when I read about how some people experienced great difficulties in removing it, and how it creates many registries within your computer's system, it turned me off from it. Time is ticking. ๐Ÿ•’ Who am I going to use next? I then looked briefly looked at VSDC, Lightworks, and Shotcut. Did not spend a ton of time examining VSDC and Lightworks, but decided to go watch a tutorial on Shotcut

Why Shotcut? Don't know. It just happened to appeal the most to me for some reason, so I went ahead and downloaded it. I did some test exports, and was pleased with the options and how the videos came out. And guess what? I CAN FINALLY EXPORT VIDEOS PRODUCED ON MY IPHONE 6S PLUS, WITHOUT THAT OBNOXIOUS SOUND DISTORTION!!! ✨๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽŠ๐Ÿฅณ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒ  YIIIIIIIIIPEEEEEEEEE! HA HAAAAAAAAAA! ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐ŸŽ Yes, I had to both capitalize and bold this statement, because it is truly incredible! As it turns out, the problem really did have to with Windows Movie Maker's inability to export the video's as mono MOV files. No so with Shotcut. You get options galore. Welcome back to outdoor videos, iPhone 6s Plus. ๐ŸŒฒ๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒŠ☀ Speaking of that, this leads to the next thing I'd like to discuss: What's next?

5 outdoor videos, one of which was done on the iPhone 6s Plus, a commentary video voiced over outdoor footage, Asphalt 9, Casual Instrumental Noise Session Episode #22, and an unboxing video. ๐Ÿ˜ You are excited. Don't lie. ๐Ÿคฅ I can just feel your hidden excitement through your screens! ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚ So! How was the move from Shotcut to Windows Movie Maker? Honestly, it is a big step up. I still use Windows Movie Maker for the Call-to-Action slides, due to it's more granular controls over setting precise duration for images. Maybe there is a way to do it with ease in Shotcut, but I'm not sure how it's done. Despite what I said about Vegas Pro earlier, I still have it on my radar. I'll need a new computer to use it though. If Shotcut can easily eat up 7-9GB of my computer's 12GB of RAM, I can only imagine that Vegas Pro would annihilate my computer. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ
